Chapter 1 - Chapter One

The car came to a halt and a young man came down from the car.

The young man dipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

"Mr. Kim," he said when he placed the phone on his ear.

"Mr. Alex, where are you?" The person on the other end of the phone asked in a panicked voice.

"Outside," Mr. Alex replied. "Is there a problem?" He asked Mr. Kim.

"Mr. Alex, the weather is strongly changing. You shouldn't be outside by this time or have you forgotten..."

"I haven't," Mr. Alex replied. He looked up to gaze at the sky, the clouds were seriously gathering, making the evening seem even more darker than usual.

"Or do you want me to come over myself?" Mr. Kim asked him. Judging from the tone of his voice, one would see that he was really worried about Mr. Alex.

"Do not worry," Mr. Alex replied. "I'll head back home soon."

"Please hurry up," Mr. Kim said before hanging up.

Mr. Alex after putting the phone back inside his pocket sighed and returned into the car. The car drove off immediately and at the same time, the clouds were fiercely gathering in the sky.

An hour later, the car came to a halt again but this time, it stopped at the front of a villa. The white gate opened up and the car drove in. The surroundings of the pathway were decorated with beautiful flowers while some small houses were on both sides.

The car drove and stopped in front of a lager white house and then Mr. Alex came down and went straight in.

"Welcome, young master," an older man said as Alex handed his suitcase to him. The old man was James — the butler of the house.

"Did anyone come find me today?" Mr. Alex asked the butler.

"No, sir," butler James replied.

Mr. Alex didn't responded as he climbed the stairs, butler James taking quiet steps behind him. When they reached, Mr. Alex opened the door and went in.

"Young master, your food is ready. I hope you'd come down and eat," butler James said to Mr. Alex.

"I will, you can go," Mr. Alex replied and the man bowed and left the room.

After the butler had left, Alex began to undress and after that, he went to the bathroom to have his bath. When he was done, he returned to the room but didn't immediately put on his dress. He first took his phone and began to go through some stuffs, when he felt like he had had enough, he dropped the phone and went to his wardrobe to change into his nightwear.

After wearing his clothes, he walked to the window and peeked outside, the sky outside was already dark and lightenings kept flashing across the sky, he quickly withdrew and pulled over the curtain, making sure to close his windows.

As he was about to leave his room, his phone rang and he halted to pick the call.

Seeing the caller, he frowned slightly.

"Yes, what do you want?" He asked.

"Come on, Alex. You don't have to be rude to me," a female voice said at the other end.

"If you do not have something important to talk about, I'll end this call now," Alex said with a stern voice.

Seeing that he was serious, the voice sighed and spoke. "Fine, fine, I was able to make Mr. Dowan stay back but he'll be leaving next tomorrow so we have to hurry up and show him Felix's art."

"How did you make him stay behind?" Alex asked her.

The voice fell silent for a while before replying. "Well, it's not something you should know. The good thing here is that we still have a chance to make Felix's art popular."

"I'll see you tomorrow and thank you properly, good night, Miss Diana," Alex said and then ended the call.

A long sigh escaped his lips as he gazed at the name on the screen of his phone.

He could not count how many times this lady had helped him, yet, he couldn't even remember who she is to him.

He typed Mr. Kim's number and put it dial, soon the call was answered.

"Mr. Alex, are you home already?" Mr. Kim asked the moment he picked up the call.

"Yes but that is not why I am calling you," Alex replied.

"Oh, what is it then?" Mr. Kim asked.

"I need an information on Miss Diana. Everything there is, don't leave any tiny one behind," Alex replied.

"Okay, boss! Will do."

Alex hung the call and sighed again. He remembered that he hadn't had dinner yet so he left his room and headed downstairs. As soon as he got to the dining, butler James came.

"Young master, the food is still warm," he said to Alex with a bow.

"You've tried. You can go and rest up," Alex said to the butler who smiled and gave him a bow.

"Thank you, young master," he said and left.

Left alone, Alex went ahead to take his seat and dished out the food himself. As he did, a loud thundering sound was heard from outside and he almost jumped out of his seat. The sound didn't come again so reluctantly, he began to eat.

Halfway into the food, he heard some noises coming from outside. It wasn't the sound of rain, it was as though someone was doing something outside.

He wanted to ignore it, but the noise kept on until he could no longer ignore. He got up, went into his kitchen and collected a kitchen knife before heading outside.

The noise was coming from his garden which was behind the mansion so he headed over, taking cautious steps, not to alert whoever was there.

When he arrived at the garden, he didn't hear the noise again. He looked around but he didn't see anyone either. A frown settled on his face because he couldn't be wrong.

As he was still standing there, a lightening flashed in the sky and he turned, ready to head back inside but then, something caught his sight.

A naked girl was lying on the ground.

At first, he was shocked and alarmed because there was no how an intruder would come into his villa without being caught. His entire villa was surrounded by countless security cameras and alarms so there was no how someone could trespass.

Seeing the naked girl, he was curious as to how she was able to pass all the security cameras and was not caught. He would have called the security men but the state of the girl was what bothered him.

He went over to her and bent down towards her. He slowly placed his hand on her and pulled her over. The girl's eyes were closed but there was something else that caught his attention, the mark on her forehead.

"What is this?" He mumbled as he gazed at her. While he was still wondering what the girl was, the first drop of rain fell on his body. He looked up and saw that it was already raining, alarmed, he carried the girl and ran back inside the house.

He couldn't stand the rain.
