Synopsis
Year One: "There’s something about Luke Field, though not much," Tony Stark told reporters with a confident grin. "I could probably do what he’s doing now when I was ten." Year Two: "Okay, I’ll admit it—I might’ve underestimated him," Tony said, a little sheepish. "Luke Field is a genius, just like me. I’m sure our work will spark some serious innovation together." Year Three: "I don’t want to say it, but Luke Field's progress has definitely surpassed what I expected," Tony muttered, a frown tugging at his lips. "I’ll have to step up my game to keep pace." Year Four: "Honestly, facing off against Luke Field... I might just need to throw in the towel," Tony said with a dramatic shrug, looking both impressed and a little defeated.

Chapter 1 - #1 - Luke Field

New York.

The Hebron Tech Building, a spacious conference room.

A massive virtual screen displayed the scene of a press conference to Luke Field.

...

New York.

A hotel.

A throng of people was kept behind the barriers, while reporters with their long lenses and cameras craned their necks in anticipation before the hotel steps.

"Here they come!"

A sudden burst of noise accompanied the roar of a car speeding towards them. As the black van came to a halt in front of the hotel, the reporters clustered around the steps seemed to receive a command, striding forward and rushing ahead with their tools of the trade.

The car door opened, and a portly man, his expression strained in an attempt to appear serious and dignified, laboriously climbed out of the driver's seat. He then went around the vehicle to open the door for a sharply dressed man in a suit.

The man paused before the car, sporting a pair of black sunglasses. He grimaced at the sight of the reporters swarming towards him, and flanked by his hefty bodyguard and hotel security, he strode towards the hotel entrance.

"Tony Stark, what are your thoughts on the soaring stock prices of Stark Industries?" This came from a financial reporter.

"Tony Stark, model Ashley revealed in an interview that she recently traveled with you in New York and even returned to your Malibu mansion in Los Angeles with you. Is this true?" This was from an entertainment reporter.

"..."

Tony Stark adjusted his cuffs, showing no intention of answering the barrage of questions. Just then, a pretty female reporter, taking advantage of her burly colleague holding back the surrounding hotel security, charged forward with incredible agility on her ten-centimeter heels, microphone in hand. She sidled up to Tony Stark, keeping pace with him as she fired off questions at lightning speed.

"Tony Stark, does Justin Hammer, head of Hammer Industries, say that your talent for technological invention is excellent, but not unattainable? Do you agree?"

Hearing this, Tony Stark stopped in his tracks. He gently pulled down his sunglasses with his right forefinger, revealing his eyes. He first scrutinized the reporter's beautiful face, then lowered his gaze, scanning her curvaceous figure encased in a tight-fitting dress, and smiled.

"What's your name? Never mind, I can spare some time tonight for an exclusive interview. You can contact my secretary and assistant, Pepper… oh, she's not around right now. Contact my bodyguard, Happy Hogan, then, yes, the chubby, reliable-looking guy. He'll arrange the time." Tony Stark pointed to Happy Hogan, who was relying on his weight to push through the crowd of reporters like a small boat struggling against a stormy sea. He drawled, noticing the female reporter's stunned, then delighted expression.

"As for Justin Hammer, I have nothing to say to him. After all, he's created quite a few 'geniuses' over the years to rival Stark Industries, and even put on a show himself. Unfortunately, he's just an arms dealer at best. Stop using me to hype up those geniuses he's created. I know I'm a hot commodity, but in this industry, fame doesn't necessarily make his 'products' sell better."

"What about Hebron Tech?" Seeing that Tony Stark was about to leave, the female reporter seized the opportunity to squeeze in another question: "Hebron Tech, founded by Luke Field, is hailed as the most promising tech company of the new century. Some even believe that it could rival Stark Industries in the future…"

"The genius boy who, before the age of fifteen, independently built a mechanical dog and tailored an amazing program for it as a fifteenth birthday present to himself?" Tony Stark paused, looking at the female reporter with interest.

The female reporter nodded quickly.

"To be fair, he's got something, but not much. I could do what he does at fifteen when I was ten." Tony Stark finished speaking, stepped onto the hotel steps, turned around, and said to the female reporter, who was once again blocked by the hotel security: "But overall, he's much better than those geniuses Justin created. I suggest Justin collaborate with this genius boy, which would help Hammer Industries' recently sluggish stock prices soar."

...

"Are you watching that arrogant jerk again?"

A busty blonde knocked and entered, frowning at the virtual image of Tony Stark's highly recognizable face as it flickered off the screen.

"His talent justifies his arrogance." Luke Field, sitting at the conference table, rested his chin on his interlocked hands.

Luke Field, or rather, Lu Ke, was a typical transmigrator.

After clearing a Luke raid and flipping the cards, he blacked out and inexplicably reincarnated into this world. Whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, he wasn't one of the orphans in the transmigrator's orphanage. He had both parents and grandparents. His family could even be considered well-off. His mother was a director of a listed company, and his father was a partner in New York's largest law firm. This allowed Luke Field to live a much more privileged life from birth than many of his transmigrator predecessors.

Luke Field was always satisfied, until one day when he saw a flamboyant man on TV. His mood soured.

Stark Industries.

Osborn Industries.

Hammer Industries.

After delving into them, the familiar names of these large corporations crushed Luke Field's youthful heart at the time. If he didn't have a system cheat that was counting down to activation, he might have just given up on the spot. Ever since he learned that the world he was in was the Marvel Universe, he had been praying more devoutly that the system cheat's countdown would accelerate.

On his fourteenth birthday, the countdown for his system cheat was finally about to reach zero.

He was almost overwhelmed with excitement as he closed his eyes in front of the cake, counting down the ever-decreasing digits in his mind along with the countdown. When the numbers reached zero, the countdown disappeared from his mind, replaced by a dazzling golden light similar to the flash of light after flipping a card.

A golden card appeared, then shattered into fragments, merging into Luke Field's body, allowing him to immediately understand what this cheat was.

A character card lottery system.
