Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 – Eyes of Destiny

The first thought Lucius had upon opening his eyes was confusion. His body was small, his limbs fragile, and around him, an oppressive atmosphere of tradition and expectations. Soon, he realized the truth—he had been reborn into the Zenin Clan.

At first, fear gripped him. After all, the world of Jujutsu Kaisen was cruel, and even the most talented died young. Not even Satoru Gojo, the "honored strongest," would emerge unscathed. Fate seemed sealed for everyone.

But at the age of five, Lucius discovered that fate wasn't as rigid as it seemed.

Lucius' Cheat

During one of the clan's training sessions, he was instructed to channel cursed energy into his eyes to enhance his vision. It was a basic exercise to improve combat perception.

However, something unexpected happened.

The moment the cursed energy flowed into his eyes, he felt as if he were being drained. A sharp pain burned through his pupils, and for a moment, everything went dark. When his vision returned, the world around him was slower, sharper… perfect. It was as if a nearsighted person had put on glasses for the first time.

Lucius stumbled towards a mirror in the corner of the room. His heart pounded as he saw his reflection.

Two crimson irises, each with a single tomoe spinning within.

"Is this… the Sharingan?"

At that moment, all his concerns about survival faded away. He wasn't alone in this world. He carried with him one of the most overpowered abilities of all time.

But what intrigued him the most came soon after—he realized he didn't need intense emotions to evolve his dojutsu. Simply using cursed energy was enough to activate and enhance it.

"Maybe this is the secret to advancing the Sharingan..."

And so, Lucius began testing the limits of his new ability. Every day, he poured cursed energy into his eyes, forcing its evolution.

Today, finally, his Sharingan had advanced to two tomoes.

The New Hope of the Zenin Clan

Lucius walked downstairs for breakfast, eager to share his achievement. Unlike an Uchiha, who might hide their power, he had no fear of showing it.

The Zenin Clan had already known about his eyes since their first awakening. At first, there was skepticism, but when it became clear that his dojutsu was real and powerful, everything changed.

Now, he was treated as the clan's jewel—a new hope to rival Gojo's Six Eyes.

"This is wonderful, my son!" His father clapped, unable to hide his pride. After all, he had received many rewards for giving birth to the "miracle" of the Zenin Clan.

Lucius merely smiled, but his mind was elsewhere. Today was an important day.

"Father, I'm heading out. I'm going to train with my cousin."

His father's face hardened.

"Lucius, I already told you to stay away from that Toji."

His voice carried a mix of reproach and concern. Toji had no cursed energy. He was a failure in the eyes of the clan.

But Lucius didn't see Toji as a failure.

He knew the monster that man would become. He knew that, in the future, Toji would face renowned sorcerers and crush their powers as if they were nothing.

If the clan rejected him, that was all the better for Lucius.

"How could I abandon such a valuable opportunity? Toji is a treasure that the Zenin Clan is throwing away... so, I'll take him for myself."

Not only did Lucius ignore his father's warning, but he made a greater effort to get closer to Toji.

After all, in this brutal world, having power wasn't enough. One had to build alliances.

And Lucius was already setting up the board for his own game.
