I couldn't stop the glass I was holding. it broke right in my palm and spilled wine on the counter table. Don't fvcking tell me what to do. You're just
my brother". I heard him chuckled. I don't want to listen to him. I don't like people telling me what to do,specially about Jay-jay. ally about Jay-jay. I watched the blood drip from the my palm That mixes with the wine that was spilled because of I broke the bass.
Honey! Don't just sit there! Talk to him!"Keigan shout to Honey.
"What's the point? He won't listen anyway.She answered.
Out of frustration he walks toward me and force
me to face him. I gave him a blank stare. He gripped my shirt tightly.
"You're blinded with your love. You're not anymore can focus on our problem. ". I shook his hand and walked away in front of him. I also passed Honey who tried to approach me.
You're drunk".She said but I choose to ignore
her".
I don't want to talk to anyone. Mr All I want to see now is Jay-jay. But how? What if every time I think of her, I remember what she and David did. I want to ripped his throat. I like to hurt All men claiming her lips. I suddenly feel the pain in my chest. It hurts me every time I remember how Yuri and David claim her lips. I feel like she just let it go. I know I know she's not that kind of person. But i can't help it.I went to see her immediately after coming back London. I need strength because of everything I went through it at the hands of relatives who only want to get our money. But I didn't expect to be crushed by that day. I'm trying my best to convince myself that she didn't do it in purpose.But it still hurt me as fuck. I didn't realize that I had reached the opposite side the door of my room. I'm about to open the door but I stopped. I looked at the door behind me. The room opposite my room where I slept with Jay-jay isn't?. My hands and feet moved spontaneously. I went straight in. The light is off but my eyes automatically adjust in the darkness. I walk towards the bed and lay down. I still remember the first night that I let her sleep in here. I stared at her like a prey. SHe was sleeping while gaping and I found it funny.
Jay…" I whispered before my eyes close and
fell asleep.I didn't know that I will regret sleeping sooner.
"You are no different from your father. You're a
bastard. Useless and nothing but a dirt in our
name." One of the elder said while clenching his
teeth. I just hope he doesn't attack me in the heart. Intense of his anger at me.
I ignore him. I keep reading the papers in front of
me while they are all staring at me. My other
relatives are standing at the end of the long table.
A very long one to be exact.
I put the paper down on the table and looked at it all of them. The Watson Family. They are more than i hoped And as far as I know, no one else is here my cousin who are abroad. Those aren't there yet illegitimate child carrying the family surname are here.
"What exactly the reason you're here?" I ask
confusedly.I know the answer, I just like messing with them.Specially with the elders.
"His Filipino brain doesn't understand us." One of my cousins said and they all laugh.
Keifer…" Honey whispered from my back. let's go You've got what you need "
I didn't pay attention to what Honey said. I Smile I think my cousin is bigger than the drum as they laugh.
"And your penny size brain doesn't understand
me." I answered him and they stop laughing. "You will never have my money. It's all mine, only
mine".
They reacted at the same time to what I said. Anger that they are angry because they don't have much luck on the money that is just piled up in Watson's Bank. Nope with Mom's inheritance. That's the money my grandfather that he saved and gambled on firstborn son of my monster father. Due to the size of the amount, they are interested - my relative They tried to take that before I have yet to step on 18. But it's too tight in the bank, even if Watson is their last name not yet they also got at least five. "Think whatever possibility you want to think, but the money is still mine."
I didn't wait for what they had to say. I walked and left the door of that room. Next I saw Honey wiping sweat.
"You're quite obvious Honey. They haven't know that and if they know anything for sure then I'm the one they don't know yet."
"You can't blame me, Just a mistake, we will lose what we worked for."
I loosened the necktie I was wearing. I'm like suffocating from the pressure I feel. though I know they already know about that thing —but not vaguely. May be they know something that I didn't.
"Keifer… " Mr. Ryder said while walking welcome us. "You got it?"
I nod and hand over the papers and key to Honey. He read the piece of paper tied to the big key. We continue walking.
"Watson's Bank?" She said." How rich is your family? You even own a bank."
"Honey, they are more than rich." Mr. Ryder answered."They're elite."
We reached the grand staircase of the house. We are just going down the ascent when one of the i never asked to be my cousin relatives came. He stopped right in front of me
"So' i guess I'm too late," He said and looked at the key held by Honey.
I smiled at him full of pride. I the winner, with the money from the Watsons and me as the new CEO of Watson Enterprises.
"Better luck next time—oh wait! You don't have a next time." I answered mocking him.
I tap his arm and walk. We were on the ground floor When he spoke,and I stopped.
"You maybe win, you have the money and the
company. But how about your girl?" He said and
laugh. "We all know that you're going crazy because of a girl named Jasper Jean Mariano."
I clenched my fist. I want to break his bones right
now. I don't want my Jay-jay's name being dragged here.
"Make sure to keep him safe, Keifer" He added before finally leaving.
"It's a threat. You have to be careful." Mr.Raider said and walk out of the door.
Honey and I followed him after. We boarded in one of the three Mercedes-Benz already parked there. The other two belongs to my bodyguard.
While the car was running I was restless. cousin is up to something.
He is so predictable and he's taking advantage of
that.I have to make sure that Jay-jay will be alright. I immediately took my phone out of my pocket. I'm about to dial her number but I stop. When I"ll hear her voice, I'm sure I'll go home with nothing in the plan.
It' been a day since I last saw her but I'm already
dying to see her. But I can't go back yet. I still have a lot to do here.I was about to put the cellphone back in my pocket a text message arrived. That's from you Keigan.
From: Keigan
Message: your girlfriend was here.
What?!
I dialled Keigan's number. I waited for him to
answer it. After ringing several times He just answered his phone.
"What took you so long to answer your
phone?!" I ask irritated. I heard no answer from him.I don't know if there's a problem with the signal.
"Keigan?"
Out of nowhere I heard a small laugh. I suddenly
feel unease. I know there is something wrong with
my own brother but I'm not sure what it is.
[ "Relax Bro…"] He said in different tone.
His voice is obviously my brother's but the way
he talk is like a totally different person. It often
happened lately.
But this is not the time for me to think about the problems he expected. I tried to put it out of my mind -his act. I have things to do first and he also told me to not worry about it. first they and Keiren are my priority
"I want to know what she was doing there It's jay-jay".
[ "Nothing important. She's looking for you but
since you're not here she immediately leave with
her bicycle." He explained.
I know she's worried. The last time that we're
together I punch a tree. I'm so pissed because I saw Yuri kissing her. Maybe she think that I'm still mad at her.
"Don't say anything that will make her worried."
("Sure"). He answered and ended the call.
I'm sorry Jay. You have to wait for a while.
I texted Ci-N and the other classmates us, as well as Yuri. I am more than pissed off with that guy but I don't expect anything else from our friends but him.
He can protect Jay-jay the same way I do.
Our car suddenly stop. I looked outside of car window.
"This is the Watson Bank?" Honey asked
That's what I wanted to ask as well. It is not like the bank I expected. It was a brick castle whose walls are covered with plants. Its gate still looks like new because of the color black paint.
Someone opened the car door and we come down. They followed me Honey and Mr. Ryder.
"Mr. Mark Keifer Watson." A guy wearing a business suit called me and walk toward me "We've been expecting you."
I looked at him from head to toe. "You are?"
"Oh, where is my manners?" He offer his hand.
"I'm your mother's brother. Call me Sin." I accept his hand and did a handshake. I smile looking at him. Mom use to talk about him and his mischief adventure before he graduated college. I didn't know he work at our bank.
He let go and adjusted his clothes. Looked at My companions paused for a moment and faced each again to me.
"Do you have the key?"
I extended my hand. Honey handed me the papers and the old key. I showed it to him.
"Follow me." He said.
Honey and Mr. Ryder were also following us but They were stopped by the Guards standing at both sides of the gate.
"They're with me." I said but they still blocked
their way.
"Sorry, but we can't allow them." My uncle said.
I look at Mr. Ryder, he nodded as if he's giving
me permission to continue. I walked with my uncle.
The place was very dark. At first I thought that
we're on a hallway but I realize that we're not.
Thanks to the light at the end of our path. Towards the end there was a tunnel.
"How's your brothers?" He suddenly ask.
"They're fine. I guess…" I hesitate to answer.
"Sorry if I didn't make it to your Mom's funeral.
I'm not allowed to leave the bank before."
I held my breath. None of the family Mama went to the funeral. Some distant relatives but not that i know.
But it was a long time ago. It doesn't really matter to me now.
"I understand. You have a duty to fulfill."
He stopped walking. I noticed that we're already at the end of the tunnel. The door is big before us now.l
"Your Mom is still my sister. It's my duty to protect her." He look at me seriously."And i failed to fulfill my duty."
He didn't wait for what I had to say. Gate Opened it's the door in front of us. A huge fountain is the first thing that I saw. The ceiling is made of glass. The floor is full of pebbles. While the surrounding looks like a garden because of the withered plants.
Is this really a bank?
There are three doors behind the fountain. Uncle Sin walked towards the first door and opened it
"We have to move faster. Clock is ticking." He said and went inside.
He was right, so I sped up my pace. Entering the first door, a counter table what appeared to me was made of marble. Uncle Sin was behind that table He's typing on what I assume is a keyboard. While waiting for him, I noticed what was behind him. It was a safety deposit boxes. Almost as full as that wall.
After typing something one of the safety deposit
box open. The one in the corner at the end of the
wall.
Idon't understand how or what this is what he does. All I know is what I'm here for the money left to me.
Uncle Sin walk toward it. He pick up something inside.
"What exactly is this?" I ask when he's about to
walk toward to me. He gave me a short smile. " Everything what your Mom wanted you to see."
I arched a brow. What she wanted me to see?
He handed me one of the wooden boxes. on- it's locked and the key is old. I can literally peak on its keyhole. I looked at it for a moment as I remembered the key I got from the old mansion. I took it from my pocket. I thought the key was for vault door itself. I tried wearing the it's a key and I'm still amazed that it fits.
I slowly turned the key and I heard a small snap sound from the box. I looked at Uncle who was also just looking at me. He's obviously waiting for me to find out what's inside the box.
Why do I suddenly feel pressured?
I slowly open the box. When I opened the box I stared at its contents. Seeing what's inside makes me want to throw it away.
Seriously? Who would put a small remote control
and piece of card inside a box? Then put it in a
safety deposit bank.
This is definitely a joke. Absolutely mom will not do it. I almost laugh in disbelief but
when I saw my Uncle's serious face I remain calm.
I first took the small piece of card and read it.
There's a letter printed in gold that is hard to see in bright light. I tried to read it but I was disappointed so I just took the remote and observed that.
There are only few bottons in the remote. Play,
Pause, Stop & End buttons with different colors.
"If you're done, please follow me." Uncle Sin
said.
I took the remote and piece of card then leave the box. We went out the door and moved to the door end. He opened it and there was only darkness i saw.
"From here, you have to do everything on your
own." He said and force a smile.
I hesitated to enter. There isn't even one little light I pulled my phone out of my pocket and use it as a light. I slowly stepped inside. Few more step and the door suddenly closes. Right turn around I only see Uncle's sad face I saw it. I try to run back to stop the door but I'm too late. I tried to open it but nothing it makes sense.
Damn it! Is this a set up?
Does he have a bad plan? Why not? he allowed Honey to come with me here insude ? Don't even hope that he is interested also in money.
Out of nowhere a light from a box showed up. I approached it to look. It was a projector box. Is this what the remote control is for? I deleted it the cop who blocked the very circle of project
The light spread on the wall which looks like a
monitor. There are three choices on the screen. Play,Pause & Stop. Almost the same choices from the remote.
Even though I wasn't sure, I pressed Play on the remote. Something come up from the screen. A
video that about to play and there's a woman on it.
It's Mom…
I couldn't take my eyes off the monitor. It was
Mom. My own mother that I haven't seen for a long time. I don't understand why she's in this video

this, it means that I didn't made it to your 18th
birthday." She said and my tears start to fall.
