With gaze settling on a woman,Her shiny black hair, smooth as polished onyx, cascaded in soft waves, framing a face of quiet elegance. Her grey eyes, deep and unreadable like distant storm clouds, held a lingering intensity, framed by dark lashes. With skin as smooth as ivory and a slender, graceful form, she carried a beauty that was both understated and captivating.
wearing maid outfit standing by the door with a bowl having a soaked towel, frozen as if seem to encounter a ghostly existence -the one totally out of the world.
"Don't you find the need to knock the door."
With narrowed eyes ,darian muttered with annoyance.
Already dissatisfied with the situation but now having someone barged into room regardless of his consent made him unconsciously furrowed his brows.

Astonished by the sharpness in the tone of darian and the displeased expression he is wearing while looking at her,the maid was taken aback.

"Do you find anyone else in this room other than you and me."
Seeing darian somewhat annoyed,the maid dare not prolong the issue despite not being at fault because of her assign task.
"Your highness -the Prince ,please be kind enough to forgive the unruly behaviour of this maid."
As she spoke,she bent forward at the waist with dramatic flair, lowering her head so deeply that her chin nearly touched her chest.
A little startled by the action of maid ,once again remind him of the position he hold despite of any true significance as one could expect from a side character.
With a sour feeling hiding behind the neutral expression "Raise your head and remember to ask for permission before entering."

Seeing the Prince willing to forgive her ,she let out a sign of relief before slowly raising her head.
She is a little puzzled by the behaviour of darian which is quite unusual even though she can't exactly point out but -he look a little different .
"What are you dazing out?"
Darian voice pulled her out of her thoughts as she once again lost her composure.

Seeing her nervous,he couldn't help but took a deep breadth before exhaling slowly.

Not wanting to go back and forth with this meaningless conversation.

Seeing darian ignorant about the situation,maid become increasingly puzzled.
How could he not remember,The reason -the reason for being in this situation.

Seeing marie asking the same question ,darian exclaimed aloud.
Seeing damian firm response,marie fell into deep contemplation.

With wide eyes and mouth hung open with her face growing pale as she make a wild guess.

Looking at the changes in her facial expressions darian couldn't help but ask.
"Your highness, perhaps have you lost your memories?"
Lost in deep thoughts wheather to affirm her assumption,only to decide against it , afraid as it would only lead to unnecessary trouble.
Focusing his attention back to marie ,he spoke calmly"I completely fine ,it just my head feel a bit dizzy."
"Don't unnecessary make big deal out of it."
"...yes,your highness please forgive me for stepping over my boundaries."
"..so,marie tell me what happened to me to end up in this situation?"
Taking advantage of her submissive attitude,darian finally pose the question he was having in his mind,after all he still couldn't remember much about this or his previous life.
The only thing he knew that he is in a novel, other than that his mind is totally blank.
