Chapter 2: The War of Dungeons

Ethan soon learned that he wasn't the only dungeon core in this world. Across the land, other reincarnated souls had been transformed into dungeons—some peaceful, some war-hungry. The gods above watched, using their divine powers to manipulate the fates of these dungeon-born beings.

But Ethan had something they didn't—a free will untouched by the gods.

As he expanded his dungeon, he began recruiting powerful creatures—shadow wolves, enchanted golems, and even rogue adventurers seeking shelter. But his true strength came from his unique ability:

When a neighboring dungeon attempted to invade his territory, Ethan activated his ability for the first time—devouring the opposing dungeon and adding its creatures to his ranks.

The gods took notice.

"An anomaly…" one murmured.

"This one is dangerous," another whispered.

And so, they sent champions—legendary heroes blessed by divine power—to destroy Ethan before he could rise too high.
