Chapter 1 - Chapter One: The Call of the Blue Moon

"The moon has never looked like this before… Blue, strange, as if it's watching me."

The air was thick with an eerie energy, the night sky pitch black—except for the massive moon glowing in an unnatural shade of blue.

Standing on her balcony, Mia felt a strange shiver run down her spine. The city was too quiet. No honking cars, no barking dogs, not even the whisper of the wind. It was as if the world had stopped.

Then it happened.

The ground beneath her trembled. A chilling force surged through her veins, making her breath hitch. The moon's glow intensified, surrounding her in its cold light.

She tried to scream—but no sound came.

In an instant, everything disappeared.

And when she opened her eyes… she was no longer in her room.

A dense forest surrounded her, its trees dark and twisted, their shadows stretching unnaturally. The sky above was a deep, endless blue, as if she had stepped into another world. The air smelled different—a mix of rain and something ancient.

She tried to move, but her feet felt heavy, as if the earth itself refused to let her go.

Then, a voice.

Low, smooth, laced with something dangerous.

"Finally… I've found you."

Her heart pounded as she spun around.

Standing before her was a tall figure, his presence both regal and menacing. His hair was as dark as a starless night, and his eyes—his eyes glowed the same blue as the moon.

Who was he? And why did it feel like he had been waiting for her all along?
