This was boldly written on the front wall of the mansion open to viewers' consumption.
The scene opens..
Cyan; a human ghost.
In an abandoned mansion where dead bodies and spirits wine and dine together. Cyan was thrown into its world to guide, watch and live with dead-bodies long gone. A mystic mirror was placed on the wall, a means of communication between the dead and the living.Cyan was forced by the ghost she possesses within, her freedom-snatched from her, a life of ten and five. Only allowed to go out by 10 in the morning and must return before 5 in the evening. A rule she had no choice but to abide by.
The abandoned house stood with fog rising into the sky. Lights flickered, being the only light in the dark….. The fog dragged a chilly breeze that sent a chill up her spine.
Cyan strolled into the frosty night fog. She turned on her flashlight. It was the first thing that came to her mind. As the bright light flashed its way on, the shadows seen a couple of seconds ago were gone. It's calling her into its world. A voice sparkling, a strong connection to childbirth.
She moved closer with cautious steps; the leaves paved straight up the way as she went into the Haunted Mansion.
She walked in and with every step she took, the wooden floor made a loud creak beneath her feet.
The lights were dim like a maze;a city plunged into darkness.
Suddenly, the creepiest sound she'd ever heard filled her ears, the sounds of tiny footsteps from a mirror.
She took one step closer, and it made an enormous noise. Her curiosity picked up, the genesis of how she landed was shown in the mystic mirror.
The strange force enveloped her, never backing out till date, forever trapped within her, once again her life, a life of ten and five.
At 10 in the morning. Cyan set out to go see a counselor who she could confine in. She came with a broken and contrite heart, one that was almost shattered ;fighting for her sanity. With shaky steps, the ground was cold and rough; her garment felt scratchy as her mouth looked thick and swollen. Sluggishly, she strutted along the walkway knowing that no matter what she did, the feeling was still there; a life of 10 and 5.
Yanking the door in front of her, she sank into the recliner as she narrated everything she had inside. All complaints found their way to the counselor's feet.
The young man swallowed hard as he shook his head in disbelief. The counseling house was more like a relief center where different people come to air out their frustrations and seek advices or counsel on the way forward.
Both held hands together in prayer.
"After today, report back to this place for our daily prayers. I will take it up from here, alright."
"Alright Counselor, thank you so much for the time."
Cyan stood up to go, she took out her handkerchief as she dried the little tears that tried to fall. Zipping up her purse to open the second door, she collided with a man, who was a CEO.
"Young lady, are you okay, so sorry about that?"
He paused, Cyan raised her brows, her face slowly fixed on the man.
"Yo..u don't have to apologize, I was the one who got into the way, I'm sorry." She swallowed hard, trying to avoid eye contact.
"Here." The young man stretched his hand.
"Your bag."
"Thank you so much." Her eyes quickly went down his outfit, she exhaled and silently turned to leave.
A hand held the door from behind.
She raised her head to check who the figure was, her gaze shifting to the CEO.
"You again? Let me go please."
He smiled, revealing his right hand.
"Here, I'm Benson, you are..?" He took off his glasses, waiting for a response.
Cyan gave a conspicuous look, scrutinizing his features, exhaling deeply.
"I'm Cyan."
"Naughty girl,"he teased, tickling her by the edge of her pointed nose."
She frowned, her face grumpy as hell.
"Relax, do I bite? I just want to insert your earrings that fell off during the collision."
He picked it up where he dropped it, then slowly tried locking it in her ear.
"Why is he taking this long to insert just an earring?" She muttered, biting her lips; her voice below a whisper.
"Here, I'm done.
"Alright, thank you so much Mr Benson." Her eyes flashed to his white collar, his office tag boldly seen on the front pocket of his shirt - stating he was the CEO, a big fish.
Cyan tried to say something. Benson cut in immediately.
"You don't have to, I'm late for the office, that's my card, you can reach me through that card." Excuse me."
Cyan paused, a tingling sensation crept through her body like the sweetness of honey.
"He's such a gentle man," she muttered.
"Once I get back to the mansion, I will give him a call." Turning back, she gave a long stare, his cuteness overwhelmed her at each glance.
At exactly five in the evening, she was already at the mansion. She sat down on a wooden table as she slowly took out his card. Holding it firmly in both hands, she dialed his number.
Footsteps trailed behind her, her eyes wide. She swallowed hard as she treaded cautiously towards the mystic mirror. In a soft, calm tone, she whispered.
"I met a CEO." She revealed.
Leaves fell like snow from the rooftop, her feet cold and husky. Tall trees cast long, sinister shadows across the narrow passages at the back of the mansion. As the moon hid behind a veil of clouds, she felt the shadows alive watching her every move.
The mystic mirror finally spoke, it's voice firm and urgent.
"You know the rules of the mansion, you know your assignment or do I need to remind you?"
"You are not allowed to love or have any mutual feeling for a human. Humans are heartless. You give them your heart, they shatter it, you trust them, they betray you."
Cyan swallowed hard, her heart palpating at every word.
"You lure the humans to the mansion, not have feelings for them. They are betrayers. You never want to have any business with them except you choose to spend the rest of your years trapped in this mansion."
Cyan let out a tear, her eyes fixed on Benson's card.
"You were assigned to do the task I couldn't do. Only the living could do this task, so do not try to forget the reason why you are here."
The mystic mirror went off, Cyan fell to the ground, her chest bubbling in anger.
The atmosphere is dark and foreboding.
"Just when I thought I would finally have a companion, a friend, whom I could call and talk to, a partner, I could share my day-to-day activities in this haunted mansion. This hits me."
She lowered her head, confusion edged at the line of her expression. She stood up, her feet paced back and forth as she fell to the ground.
"I believe in love, trust..but humans have never offended me? Why should I fight them?" God, please help me get out of here, so I will go with my heart."
At the office.
Benson sat on his chair, his mind flashed to the lady he met at the counseling house.
He paused a little, licking his lips, a smile crept across his cheek like sparks of electricity washing over him.
"I've never been this drawn to a lady like this, gosh! She's so beautiful." He paused as he sank into his armchair, biting his lips, eyes shut.
I just pray she gives me a call, or I find her at that very counseling house tomorrow." He snapped his fingers, desperation laced at the edge of his expression.
He grabbed his office worksheet, Cyan's figure scattered across the edges. He jerked off from his seat, eyes darting through the room.
Everything turned peach black.
"Who's that? Show yourself, Cyan, is that you?"
He screamed.
The ghost's fingers wore lines of electric blue through the inky darkness. The office was dark and foreboding, sinister shadows around narrow paths in broad daylight.
Her figure expanded at every glance, switching interchangeably- confusion edged at the line of his expression. The strange residing force in her threw the worksheet over the other edge of the table, causing it to rip into two.
An enchanted ring shone on him, its glow pushed him to the door, he crashed. The strange force followed him, snarling. Going in circles in the dark room, his screams like whispers were unable to reach the ear of anyone in the office, the door heavily locked, only immortals could open. His vision is blurry, like bedbugs, this darkness latches on him, refusing to set him free.
Benson's cell phone rang and everything disappeared.
"It was a dream."
He held his chest, his breathing out in short gasps. He reaches out for a glass of water from the dispenser.
"Would... could this be?" He muttered, his left eye scanning through the room.
"Are mine being monitored?, he asked." He shook his head, Something is definitely wrong somewhere but I...must...find out."
He reaches out for his phone, his betrothed wife on the line, Bianca, the lady he's going to get married to in no time.
Hmm! Would that be easy? Considering the fact that Cyan is in the picture, its answers are hidden in the package of his journey. His eyes were puffy and red , he hesitated for a moment before returning the call.
" Bianca, you can't keep calling me because of our so-called wedding preparations, I'm... so busy in the office, you're distracting me." He snapped before hanging up, sweat trickled down his head.
Light fades..
The Aquatic Race.
At the Ocean.
Marina, a representative of the Mermaid Race, is seen around the ocean.
"When I die..I'm going to come back like this little dolphin." Marina said, her tail flapped on the water as she danced through the ocean.
Marina was a shy but inquisitive mermaid who lived in the depths of the ocean. Her hair and her tail were so unique; long flowery hair like the color of seaweed, a shimmering tail that changes colors with the light.
Beneath the underwater city of Serene was Marina's home, where she shared with her other mermaid friends; a place of refuge from the wicked dark sirens of the ocean. Towering coral reefs and glittering crystal formations make up the architecture of Serene's underwater city. There she hid ; calm and peaceful away from aquatic troubles. But the so-called Sirens were in for business, their monthly recurring attacks were like whispers of nameless fear only the future could tell. Hiding from their fears, trust and love was the driving force that kept them going after losing their Queen mother; the Serene ocean now lives at the mercies of the Sirens.
Marina was a very rare kind of mermaid gifted with unique features that only made her a center of attraction, a bait to lure prey, a threat to others of her kind and a book of mystery to be studied.
One of her very special abilities was her alluring voice; refreshing and cozy, so capable of drawing in the attention of any, including sailors and humans. Her tail; agile and graceful in water, with every propel she saves the day. A deep understanding of the ocean's secrets and magic; a big asset even the sirens wanted to acquire so badly with a final endowment that just makes Marina's beautiful and charming; something sensational, you can't explain it, it latches on you and pulls you in, a force of attraction beyond attractions.
Every four days, she goes to the seashore to go commune with her late mother. Being a very emotional being, she never forgets to pay her mom a visit through songs of sweet melodies. Her spirit was summoned.
One faithful day, a third eye saw through her dark past on her way to do the usual. All in an emotional quest to shake off the stigma of loneliness that tried to steal her happiness considering the fact that she was the last child of the mother of the unique five.
She swam to the top of the ocean. Slowly she raises her head above the water level, her eyes darting for any trace of any third party around.
She swallowed hard when none was there. Slowly she shut her eyes, her face gazing at the side like she was singing to someone. Her lips were not moving, but the sound of her voice was heard.
Just by the seashore, a third eye loomed around, watching closely while concealing in a very small tight space. The stranger looked like a ceremony was going to take place that evening. Flowers and a center mat with drinks surrounded were arranged at the corner of the beach close to the ocean.
"Hello beautiful, the voice said behind."
Marina turned back, just about to dive into the ocean, her tail got stuck.
The stranger's eyes opened, footsteps approaching Marina.
"Oh my goodness! He shouldn't come close, he shouldn't please, he shouldn't." She muttered within, her heart palpating, restless thoughts scattered throughout her visuals.
"Do mermaids fear humans? Why is she scared? I'm only trying to help."
Marina tried even harder to free herself but got lost in the arms of BENSON.
Eyes lurked with each other, Benson blinked a million times; her beauty was beautifully distracting, her blue eyes glowed through the night as her chuckle sent shivers down his spine. Her right hand was placed on his chest. Wet together. Marina swallowed hard, his next move unknown to her.
Two different voices fired from behind.
"What, Benson! So this was the surprise you had for me to make up for neglecting your own betrothed wife from birth, right?
Benson's jaw dropped.
"Bianca, I can explain, yes, I made a space for us on the seashore before I saw the mermaid."
"Will you shut the hail up!" Bianca snapped.
You will be more sorry when I get my phone and get a picture of you two so you can explain to the world what on earth my husband is doing with a mermaid.
"You lie! Bianca, I saw him from my mansion.
"He invited me over so we could be together before it's five." Cyan said, her voice vibrant and audible. The mystic mirror always gave her signals of wherever Benson could be so she could do what was necessary, but her heart stood for the opposite.
Bianca hurriedly dashed inside, her face red and puffy. Danger was lurking behind.
Benson's jaw widened, Marina swam back into the ocean.
"My love, I'm still with your card, I'm back with a response." Cyan said, stretching out his card.
"Come, let's go, away from the shackles of the wicked ones. Come with me, I promise to take good care of you."
Benson tried to alter a word, it felt rooted to his throat. Immediately, Bianca stepped out.
"Hey! You." She said, pointing towards Cyan.
"You mess with the wrong person, you cheap mistress, now kiss yourself goodbye!."
She said with a gun pointing to Cyan's forehead from a distance.
A sinister laugh escaped Cyan.
"You're such a coward, will you give me that!" She commanded. Without moving an inch, the gun flew into Cyan's hand.
Bianca looked at her hands, then looked at Cyan's hand. The difference was clear.
She screamed! As she frantically ran inside.
A strong force pulled Benson into the ocean.
The worst is here!
Two sisters and a betrothed wife now seek love and acceptance from a human, even when blood and quest is definitely on the line.
Light fades, like the eye of a needle. It opens again on a very long road called S S A T, meaning SHAPE- SHIFTERS AND TRICKERS. The home for all shape-shifters. Trickytee, a representative of the Shapeshifters race.
The scene opens with Alexander, Oscar and Marcus.
Marcus and Alexander set out to go wait for Oscar at the very junction they agreed.
"He talked about lateness. Where could he be?"
Alexander panicked, looking sideways to see if anyone was coming.
"Relax, it's just a few minutes past the time, he should probably be on his way."
"I just pray so, because he really makes me cringe with all his arrogant words."
"Be quiet," Marcus whispered.
"Look over there! He's approaching us."
Oscar came closer then took in a deep breath before saying.
"Marcus, Alexander, as it stands now, you need to go through a shape-shifter, they are the ones who can shape you into anything so you can get into the Viper's academy at least for the first time; find out their requirements, then come out, get them before returning to be with them fully with my magic."
"Oh God! I said it, he's fake!" He whispered.
"Isn't there any other way? Marcus pleaded.
"Shut up! Are you questioning my Magic?" He reprimanded.
Alexander exhaled deeply.
"You, Marcus, you know better, you know how mischievous the S S A T home can be, capable of deceiving people. At this point, you will both be left at this juncture to go find any of them. Do everything possible for them to like you. That's the only way you can get what you want."
"Oh shit! Another adventure again...." Alexander grumbled.
"It's not going to be easy, but if you cross part with the right person and show good conduct, you will win their heart. Remember they can change into anything. Don't talk ill about them. They might be the log of wood you would be sitting on. A creature capable of changing into anything. Remember, good luck! I will monitor you guys with my spells."
Journey to S S A T begins..
Light fades.
