Madison woke up with a start at the sound of the alarm clock on her bed rest. Frowning, she stretched out her right hand and turned off the alarm clock as it was her usual habit. She pulled a pillow from the other side of the bed and covered her face with it, intending to continue her sleep which would of course not last long when she suddenly remembered today was a school day and a Monday at that.
She reluctantly got off the bed, straightened it up and went to the bathroom. I have to hurry... ; whispered Madison to herself as she took her towel and dashed into the bathroom. Upon entering, she washed her face at the sink area, after which she took her tooth brush from its stand, and putting on some toothpaste she proceeded to brush her teeth. After performing her routine oral hygiene, she went to the bath to take her bath.
Madison was out of the bath after a few minutes, she quickly dolled herself up and put on her uniform as she was running late. Taking her backpack,she
went out of her room closing the door after her. She went walked through the hallway and took the elevator which brought her down directly.
Madison headed towards the dining area where breakfast was already served. Breakfast was made for only her since both parents were away on a business trip which was a relief to her to some extent.
Grabbing an egg sandwich, she quickly ate it with a glass of milk. Pouring some small juice into a glass cup, she quickly downed it to give her mouth a refreshing and sweet smell.
Feeling satisfied, she took her backpack which she had earlier left on a sofa and walked out of the dining area.
They soon got to the garage where the car was already readied at the side.
They both got in and Ben started the car, driving it through the streets of their quarters and finally out of the gate and have into the road.
Madison let out a sigh of relief as Ben started speeding up. She just hoped there was little or at most, no traffic on the road today. She was fast enough in preparing for school today but there's still a chance she might be late.

Ave's High is her school, one of the most prestigious and notable school in York City with majority of the students populace coming from the rich families of York City and other nearby cities like Merlin.
Despite this, the school employs one of the best disciplinary measures and protocols putting every student on their toes. Hence, Ave's high is known for producing students with excellent grades at the final exam each year on the academic calendar.

They arrived at the school after 20 minutes. The driver stopped the car just before they got to the school's gate. Madison thanked him and got out of the car. Madison let out another sigh of relief as she walked towards the gates. Thankfully, there was very little traffic today which was rare for a Monday morning.
All the same, she achieved her goal and got to to school earlier than she expected.
Carrying her backpack, she walked through the school's entrance and walked in the direction you of her class.
She got to class after a few minutes, getting to the class, she realized most of the students had already arrived and that was just as expected. She was in S1, which was one of the best class in the school. Almost all students in this class had exceptional grades and were very competitive, putting each and every one of them on their toes.
Madison got to her seat and placed her backpack on the rack beside the table. She then wiped her desk with a tissue and sat down on her seat. After which she cleaned the desk beside her. Her friend Lena, who sat beside her wasn't in yet so she just took out her books and prepared for the day's lesson. She took out one of her book and started looking through it when she suddenly felt a shadow closing up on her. She looked up only to receive a hug from Lena. She hugged her back giggling softly at Lena's childishness.
How was your weekend; Lena spoke first. Short as always but okay, I'm good; said Madison after hesitating for a while. How was yours; Madison asked Lena. Fine; Lena said as she walked over to her seat and sat down, putting her bag on the rack beside the table.
