On a splendidly beautiful, bright sunny day in the picturesque and serene Ravenwood County, nestled in the heart of the region, stood the solitary, grand house of the most powerful and respected knight of the region. This knight was a strikingly fair man, with fiery red hair that shone like a beacon under the sun. He was adorned in his knightly armour, a symbol of his bravery and valour, and a vibrant red cape that billowed in the gentle breeze.

This man, lost in deep thought, was pacing back and forth with a determined stride in front of the imposing gate of a room within his house. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, each step echoing the turmoil within. The house, a symbol of his stature and power, was strategically located very close to the grand manor of the influential Count of Ravenwood County. The proximity signified the close ties and mutual respect between the knight and the Count.

"Sir Evan, don't worry. Madam will definitely give birth safely to a healthy baby boy," said Tristan, addressing the red-haired man.

"Tristan, I don't care whether my child is a boy or a girl, as long as the baby is healthy. I just want my child and wife to be safe and healthy," replied Evan.

His face was a canvas of raw emotion, completely consumed by an overwhelming sense of panic. Sweat trickled down his forehead, a testament to the intense anxiety coursing through his veins. Every line and crease on his face seemed to be etched deeper, clearly indicating the immense tension he was under.

Tristan, the most trusted subordinate of Evan, shook his head at the sight of his master. This was the same man who instilled fear in the knights of other counties and baronies, now so anxious and nervous about his child and wife. Tristan knew how much Evan loved his wife and how excited he was for the birth of their child, so he wasn't too surprised by Evan's behavior.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, the cry of a baby could be heard from the room. As soon as Evan heard the sound, the anxiety on his face was replaced with happiness. He wanted to rush immediately into the room, but reason stopped him in his tracks. He waited for the midwife to come outside and tell him the condition of his wife and child.

Evan didn't have to wait long. The midwife arrived and, with a smile on her face, said, "Congratulations, Sir Evan. You and your wife are blessed with a baby boy. Madam is also alright."

"Haha, I am very happy. Tristan, give the midwife one gold coin and each maid in our house ten silver coins," Evan said with a hearty laugh, generously rewarding everyone in his household. One gold coin is not a small amount, and with this amount of money, the midwife could live comfortably for almost two years.

Upon hearing the news of the substantial reward she was going to receive, the midwife could not contain her joy. Her heart was filled with happiness and gratitude. As a sign of respect and acknowledgment, she bowed deeply. With a voice full of emotion, she expressed her heartfelt thanks, saying, "I am profoundly grateful to Sir Evan for his extraordinary generosity and kindness."

Evan responded with a hearty laugh that echoed throughout the room. "Haha! Please, think nothing of it. This is merely a small token of the immense joy I am feeling right now." His laughter was infectious and unending, a clear reflection of the overwhelming happiness that had taken hold of him. The news that his beloved wife and their newborn child were both safe and healthy had filled him with a joy beyond words. It was more than just happiness; it was a profound sense of relief and gratitude that made his heart swell with emotion.

Finally, Evan, who couldn't hold back, asked, "Now, can I go and meet my wife and my baby boy?"

The midwife nodded, and like a gust of wind, Evan, who had been waiting for the midwife's nod, disappeared from in front of her and entered the room where his wife had given birth to their child.

As Evan stepped into the room, his gaze fell upon a blonde woman cradling a baby with fiery red hair. The woman, his wife, nursed their newborn son, her expression a mix of tenderness and exhaustion.

Evan walked into the room, his face beaming with smiles. As he approached the bed where his wife lay resting, he inquired with gentle concern, "Alanna, are you feeling well?" It was a tender moment, and the name Alanna referred to his beloved spouse, who was now the focus of his undivided attention.

Alanna smiled slightly and said, "You are worrying for nothing. Don't you know that I am a three-circle vitalist? I am absolutely fine. I can heal myself with Mana after I recover a little from this. With just two to three days of rest, I will be back to my previous self."

Evan breathed a sigh of relief; a heavy stone fell from his heart after hearing from his wife's mouth that she was absolutely fine. "I know, but I am worried about you, you know," he said.

"Are you inquiring about me, or is this concerning your son?" Alanna asked, her lips pursed in a pout, her expression one of evident displeasure.

Upon hearing Alanna's question, a wave of panic washed over Evan. His mind raced with concern, and he hastily replied, "No, no, I am very worried about you. He is my son, so I am worried about him too. I love you both equally."

Evan's voice was earnest, his eyes conveying the sincerity of his words, hoping to dispel any doubts Alanna might harbor.

Watching Evan panic as if he had done something wrong, Alanna gave a soft chuckle and, with a smile, said, "I am teasing you, you dummy."

"Don't tease me like that," Evan said with relief, a smile on his face.

"Okay, okay, I will not tease you anymore," Alanna said with a smile. Then, she carefully extended her hands, holding their son, to Evan and spoke, "Here, take a look at your son."

Evan carefully took his son in his hands for the first time. The smile on his face showed how much he loved his newborn child.
