The Spectrum Of Power– CHAPTER ONE
Once, in the heart of a vast and ancient forest, stood the elven kingdom—a land of peace and harmony, untouched by war. The elves thrived under the guidance of their king and queen, and most importantly, they basked in the divine presence of their goddess, Davina.
But peace is never eternal.
One fateful night, fire rained from the sky. A massive fire dragon descended upon the kingdom, its wings blotting out the moon, its roar shaking the very foundations of the land.
The elves fought back.
Their military forces, known to be undefeated, swarmed the beast, their arrows and spells lighting up the night. But the dragon—a beast of unmatched destruction—tore through their ranks as if they were nothing more than dry leaves in the wind.
The Throne Room
The doors of the royal palace burst open. Sir Lexson, leader of the elven army, stumbled inside. His silver armor was drenched in the blood of his comrades, his sword trembling in his grip. He fell to one knee before the king and queen.
SIR LEXSON: "My king… the dragon has slaughtered our forces. We cannot hold the forest any longer… it's making its way to—"
A deafening crash interrupted him.
The walls of the palace exploded inward as the dragon tore through the kingdom's defenses. Flames licked at the golden banners, turning the once-magnificent hall into a battlefield.
From the shadows, Queen Stacy stepped forward, her gaze cold and fearless.
STACY: "Are you searching for my husband?" she asked, her voice like steel. "If so, you won't find him here."
Sir Lexson's face twisted in horror. He realized what the king had done.
SIR LEXSON: "Why… why?! Why would he make such a decision without telling me?! He's going to kill us all!"
Beneath the Elven Kingdom
Deep beneath the palace, in a hidden chamber, King David knelt before a golden altar.
His hands trembled as he clasped them together in prayer.
DAVID: "Oh, great goddess… Davina, creator of our kind… protect us."
He sighed, shaking his head.
DAVID (whispers): "What am I doing…? My kingdom is about to fall, and here I am, praying to a god that doesn't exist."
Then—a voice.
Soft yet powerful. Ancient yet eternal.
DAVINA: "I will give you my power… but I expect you to use it well."
A blinding light filled the chamber, wrapping around David's body. His mana surged, overwhelming him with divine energy. He gasped, falling to his knees, his hands trembling.
For the first time in centuries… Davina had answered.
The Day Before
Far away, across the ocean, in the Gold Coast, Davina walked the land disguised as a poor woman—dressed in tattered robes, yet radiating an otherworldly beauty.
She wandered the dirt roads until she came upon a young boy.
Nine years old.
Dark skin, black hair, brown eyes.
A slave.
His name was Yaw.
He lay on the ground, his small body covered in fresh wounds. His master, a Portuguese merchant named Peter, had beaten him so severely that he could barely move.
Davina crouched beside him, her emerald eyes glowing faintly.
DAVINA: "Do you want power?" she asked softly. "Do you want revenge on those who wronged you?"
Yaw struggled to lift his head. His entire body screamed in pain, but with his remaining strength, he whispered:
YAW: "Y-yes."
A sharp voice cut through the moment.
PETER: "Do not touch my property."
Davina didn't turn.
DAVINA: "He is not yours anymore."
Peter sneered.
PETER: "A poor woman like you could never afford to buy him. But if you want him…" He stepped closer, grinning cruelly. "I could make you work for him. Perhaps… in my chambers?"
His hand reached out to grope her.
A flash of light.
An instant later, Peter's severed hand fell to the ground.
He screamed in agony, clutching the bleeding stump, his eyes wide in terror.
DAVINA: (coldly) "You do not deserve to see me. You do not deserve to speak to me. And after what you've done to this boy…"
She stepped forward, her emerald hair flowing like liquid light.
DAVINA: "I will kill you. Your wife. Your children. I will burn everything you own to the ground."
Peter fell to his knees, sobbing.
PETER: "Please—mercy! I can give you gold! I can give you slaves! Just spare my life!"
Davina sighed.
DAVINA: "I hate worms in my food."
Her fingertips glowed.
A heartbeat later, Peter was nothing but ashes.
She turned to Yaw. With a simple gesture, his wounds vanished, his body healing instantly. But before he could even understand what had happened, his vision blurred.
The world faded into darkness.

The Realm of the Gods
Yaw awoke in a world unlike anything he had ever seen.
The ground was white as stardust, shimmering beneath his feet. The sky was endless, filled with swirling galaxies.
Ahead, Davina stood in her true form—a being of divine beauty, her long green hair cascading down to her ankles. Beside her, an unknown male figure watched silently. But the moment he noticed Yaw stirring, the man vanished.
Davina stepped forward.
DAVINA: "Welcome to the Realm of the Gods."
She smiled.
DAVINA: "And yes… you are dead."
Yaw slowly stood up. Despite the shocking news, his expression remained cold, calculating.
YAW: "I don't care about death. I only care about how I can live again."
Davina's lips curled into a smirk.
DAVINA: "Very well. I shall grant you power—control over all elements, mastery of all combat. You will heal faster than any creature, live longer than any mortal. And most importantly…"
She leaned in.
DAVINA: "You will be my champion."
Yaw's lips twisted into a dark grin.
YAW: "And what's the price?"
DAVINA: "Your past. Your memories."
Yaw didn't even hesitate.
YAW: "Take them."
Davina blinked, surprised by his ruthlessness.
Then, she smiled.
A golden magic circle appeared beneath him.
DAVINA: "Enjoy your new life… Jaden Flame."
As light consumed him, Yaw—now Jaden—laughed, his voice filled with pure, untamed madness.
