MAIN STORY:
THE PROBLEM :
Ruby, the 24-year-old CEO of a makeup products company, was sitting in her office, selecting a bodyguard to accompany her to India, where her cousin's wedding was taking place. Ruby's parents had died in a car accident when she was 10, and she had been living with her grandfather, Nikolas, ever since.
Ruby asks her personal assistant (P.A) in the office if she has found a good bodyguard, but her P.A replies in the negative. Apart from Ruby, her cousin Suresh, who is Rakesh's younger brother, also lives with her.
Ruby receives a call from Suresh, who asks her to come home and pack her bags. Ruby tells him that she has some work and will come home a bit late, and also asks if Suresh can pack her bags for her.
Ruby had a feeling that someone in her own family wanted to kill her, and that same person had also killed her parents. Ruby did some work on her laptop, but she didn't have any urgent tasks that required her to stay. Therefore, she left the office to head home.
A LONELINESS:
Ruby was not happy with her life; she didn't have anyone to share her thoughts and feelings with. She rolled down the car window, rested her head on it, and became lost in thought.
Today, Ruby's driver was behaving strangely. He received a call from an unknown number, stepped out of the car to answer it, and then returned after half an hour to resume driving.
Just then, some masked men on bikes started chasing Ruby's car. They were shouting loudly to stop the car. Ruby was terrified when she saw them. She rolled up the car window and told the driver to drive as fast as possible. The driver was also scared and started driving the car at full speed.
As the car's speed increased, the masked men also increased their speed. The driver took the car to a deserted area and stopped it. This place was very isolated, with no houses or humans around. The driver got out of the car and ran away without looking back.
Ruby was confused and told the driver to stop, but he didn't listen to her. Ruby thought of driving the car herself, so she moved to the front seat, but she saw that the driver had taken the car keys and run away. Ruby didn't understand what was happening, so she went back to the rear seat and covered her ears.
The masked men were still behind her, and they came near the car. They had many weapons in their hands, which they used to break the car windows and try to pull Ruby out. Ruby was very scared and gathered the courage to pick up a knife. She opened the rear door of the car and ran out, but one of the masked men saw her escaping. He told his companions, "Look, she's running!".
The masked men saw Ruby running and started their bikes to chase her again.
A MYSTERIOUS PERSON:
At that moment, a bike rider wearing a black jacket and black pants, with a helmet covering his face, approached Ruby. He told Ruby to get on the bike, but Ruby thought he might be one of the masked men, so she attacked him with the knife. She stabbed him in the stomach, but his jacket was made of leather, so the knife didn't penetrate and instead bent.
The masked men started their bikes and prepared to chase Ruby again. The bike rider, still recovering from the knife attack, told Ruby to get on the bike again. However, Ruby tried to escape from him as well.
One of the masked men approached the bike rider and said, "She's our target, stay away from her." As soon as he said this, the bike rider punched him in the nose, causing his mask to break and his nose to bleed.
When Ruby turned around to see what was happening, she saw the bike rider fighting the masked men, using his legs to kick them. However, Ruby still didn't trust him and thought he might be one of them, trying to trick her.
The masked men were all lying on the ground, and the bike rider took advantage of the opportunity to start the bike and force Ruby to sit on it. He started driving the bike with great skill, and the masked men began to chase them again.
A HIDDEN COLONY:
The bike rider took Ruby to a colony. As they entered the colony, the bike rider honked the horn loudly. Immediately, the residents of the colony emerged from their homes, armed with weapons. Seeing the residents, the masked men fled.
A woman (Dena) from the colony, who considered the bike rider like her own child, scolded her, "Will you ever change? You've gotten into another fight." A man (John) added, "This is the last time we've helped you. We won't help you again." The bike rider apologized, promising it wouldn't happen again, and asked for their forgiveness.
A HOUSE:
The bike rider then took Ruby's hand and led her to a house. The house was clean and simple, with minimal furniture - just a sofa, table, and TV in the living room, and three bedrooms. The bike rider told Ruby, "You'll have to stay here tonight. I'll drop you home tomorrow."
Ruby refused, saying, "You're a man, I can't stay with you." The bike rider removed her helmet, revealing her face, and said, "I don't think I look like a man." Ruby was shocked and asked, "But...?" The bike rider lifted her jacket, revealing her curves, and Ruby realized her mistake.
Ava, the bike rider, had a beautiful face and short hair, giving her a tomboyish look. Ruby was taken aback, but when Ava showed her proof, Ruby looked down, embarrassed, and smiled shyly.
Ruby asked Ava her name, and Ava replied. Ruby noticed the wound on Ava's stomach from the knife attack and offered to apply medicine, but Ava declined, saying she could do it herself.
Ava took Ruby to a beautifully decorated room, which seemed out of character for Ava's tomboyish personality. Ruby asked if the room was really hers, and Ava smiled, saying it was her mother's room.
Ruby asked if Ava's mother was around, and Ava raised an eyebrow, saying her mother didn't live with her. Ruby clarified that she meant Ava's mother visited her, and Ava explained that she kept her home clean because her mother disliked messiness.
A photo on the wall showed Ava wearing boxing gloves, and Ruby asked if Ava knew boxing. Ava replied that she enjoyed biking and boxing.
As they continued talking, Ava handed Ruby some clothes to change into - a shirt and half-pants. Ruby hesitated, saying she didn't usually wear such clothes, but Ava reassured her that they would be fine.
As Ava left the room, Ruby began singing in the shower. Ava, hearing Ruby's voice, suddenly felt a pang of emotion, as if something from her past was resurfacing. She quickly turned on the TV to distract herself, but tears welled up in her eyes.
Ava's memories seemed to be triggered by Ruby's singing, which reminded her of someone from her past. Overwhelmed, Ava took some medicine and lay down on the floor, lost in her thoughts.
Ava was starting to feel a bit better when she saw Ruby walk out of the bathroom, freshly showered. Ruby was wearing the clothes Ava had given her, and they fit her perfectly.
Ava felt an inexplicable attraction to Ruby, and she couldn't help but stare at her. Ruby broke the silence, telling Ava to go take a shower. Ava walked closer to Ruby and said "okay", and Ruby's eyes locked onto hers once again.
RUBY'S COUSIN:
Ruby's cousin Suresh was getting increasingly worried. He even called Ruby's office to ask about her whereabouts. He asked Ruby's personal assistant, "Where is Ruby? Why hasn't she come home yet?" But then he found out that Ruby had left the office a long time ago to head home. So, he tried calling Ruby's driver, but his phone was unreachable. Suresh also tried calling Ruby, but she had left her phone in the car, so the call couldn't connect.
Getting anxious, Suresh called the police and told them, "Sir, my sister has been missing for a long time. I don't know where she went. She left the office a long time ago to come home, but she still hasn't arrived. I'm getting very worried about her." He asked the police to help him find Ruby.
However, Suresh's behavior was a bit strange. He stepped out of his house and started his car, driving off somewhere.
A MYSTERIOUS POSTER MAN:
This is a deserted and empty house, where dust has accumulated everywhere and there the masked men and the driver were standing in front of a poster. The poster was very large and featured a man wearing black clothes and a mask, just like the ones the masked men were wearing. There was a speaker attached to the poster, and a voice was coming from it. It was the same voice as the unknown caller.
The unknown person said, "You people have done a great job. Take your money and never show up in England again."
They all took their money and said "okay" before bowing their heads and leaving. As soon as they left, the unknown person sitting behind the poster spoke in a scary voice, "Ruby, someone saved you today, but how long will you be able to save yourself? You just need to reach India once. This time, you won't return to England alive. Your death is waiting for you there.
A QUESTION:
As Ava and Ruby spent more time together, their bond grew stronger. But Ruby had no idea that Ava's life held secrets she couldn't even begin to imagine. Secrets that would only be revealed when Ruby accompanied Ava to India.
And as Ruby's life became increasingly intertwined with Ava's, she couldn't shake off the feeling that her own life was in danger. A danger that only seemed to grow more menacing with each passing moment.
The darkness closed in around Ruby, and she knew she had to be careful. For in the shadows, someone was waiting. Waiting to strike.
