Synopsis
The world plunged into chaos. Out of nowhere, monstrous creatures emerged, slaughtering millions and transforming Earth into a nightmare—one of the most dangerous places in the universe. Then, salvation arrived. The Tera Legion —a group of chosen wielding sacred weapons—rose to fight back. They became legends, humanity’s last shield against the darkness. They were hailed as saviors. Untouchable. Divine. Among them was Adrian Graham, one of the five tasked with saving mankind. He fought. He won. He became a hero. A symbol of hope Or so the world believed. "The Tera Legion will protect us!" “The Heroes Have Arrived!” But for Adrian, the cheers were hollow. His family had been slaughtered in the war, and none of his so-called allies had lifted a finger to save them. "Their deaths were necessary for peace," they told him. But peace built on innocent blood was no peace at all. With nothing left but his sacred spear and a burning thirst for vengeance, Adrian turned his back on the Tera Legion. He will expose the lies beneath their shining armor. The world may still see them as heroes. But Adrian is here to remind them —monsters come in many forms.

Chapter 1 - World Heroes

500 years ago, the world fell into chaos beyond anyone's imagination. Their lives changed when hordes of monsters appeared for no reason, crawling out of the earth's depths in search of life energy.

They killed humans, absorbing their souls for energy. As more and more humans were killed, their corpses mutated and turned into flesh and soul eating monsters.

Seven great cities were established on Earth, as the last fortress of mankind. All humans unite to defend the city to prevent humanity from extinction.

Humans conducted experiments, gathered the energy cores of monsters and performed many tests, until in the end they were able to create an amazing thing.

The five sacred weapons were created as a result of human experimentation, consisting of millions of monster energies collected and condensed.

The five sacred weapons consist of: Sword, Bow, Mace, Magic Wand, and Spear.

Although they have created weapons to defeat monsters, not everyone can use them. The qualifications to use the sword were young, healthy, strong, and had magic energy in their bodies.

Hundreds of thousands of humans signed up, both men and women. They tried to lift one of the five weapons, many failed.

But, it was different with the five chosen ones. They are Jayden, Issac, Gordon, Natasha, and Adrian.

All five came from different cities and were joined together in a special group formed to protect humanity, the Terra Legion.

"Report! A mythological category monster has been detected in Ark City, surrounded by elite and major category monsters," replied one of the staff working in the Legion tower, the main HQ of Terra Legion.

A man in a black military uniform nodded, he was the commander of the Legion troops in charge of detecting the presence of any category of monster around the seven major cities.

Their main HQ was in the Legion Tower, because after all the Legion troops were part of the Terra Legion's subordinate staff.

"Send a warning signal to the city. Prepare the Legions to help withstand the attack of the major category monsters," the man explained, nodding in understanding of their task.

The man seemed to step out of the control center room, walked into the elevator and pressed the 51st floor.

That was the room where Natasha lived, one of the Terra Legion members, the wielder of the sacred weapon of the magic wand.

The elevator doors opened, the man's steps stopped when he saw many glass tubes filled with chemical liquids and genetically modified human clones.

This floor was where Natasha lived, full of extreme experiments involving humans and monsters.

"Try inserting the monster's chromosomes into the body of subject A-301's clone. I want to see if there's a certain reaction from the merging of two different chromosomes," Natasha explained.

The 27-year-old woman with long flowing white hair continued to instruct her staff. They were all dressed in white coats, a must-have when entering her laboratory.

What was even more disturbing was that the staff wore white masks with no patterns and only nostrils. There was a specific reason why Natasha had them wear the masks.

The human clone's body inside the glass tube was twitching. Its veins seemed to be blackened with the gesture of trying to escape the place.

The man saw what was happening. The clone was dead with blood coming out of its ears, mouth, nose, and eyes, as if its brain was destroyed by the power of the dominant monster gene.

Natasha sighed as her hands clasped around her waist, her eyes still glued to the glass tube before her.

"Take out and throw him away," Natasha ordered.

"The clone's body is quite weak. I see the problem, human clones don't have enough chromosomes to withstand the turmoil of fusing two different chromosomes," Natasha replied.

"Open recruitment of new staff. We need to find subjects from real humans," Natasha ordered.

Her staff nodded. They understood what Natasha wanted. Natasha walked away and saw the Legion commander still standing in the open elevator.

"Daniel? What are you doing?" asked Natasha, still wearing her white coat.

"The Legion team in Ark city detected the presence of a mythological category monster in the south of the city. We need your help to resolve this," Daniel replied.

"I hate doing hero duty."

"But what can I do? I got all this because of Terra Legion. I can't just destroy it," Natasha replied, softly.

"Send us the coordinates of the monster's location. We'll go there," Natasha replied, taking off her white coat and handing it to her staff.

Natasha walked into the elevator, then went downstairs, to the main control room with Daniel. From her hands, magic was created with intense power, bringing out her wand.

"What about the others?"

"Right now, you're the only one in the Legion Tower. My team has left to inform the others," Daniel replied.

"Is Adrian one of them?" asked Natasha, turning her head.

"Of course, Ms. Natasha."

"Mr. Adrian is in Ark City. One of my team members said he was visiting his wife and child," Daniel replied.

"A good husband and father. But sadly, the monster appeared in the south of his city," Natasha said.

"That's right. Mr. Adrian might be able to hold off the monsters for a while."

Daniel and Natasha arrived at the control center room. One of the staff walked up to Daniel, saying that the speed of the mythological category monster had increased to 60km/h, from 30km/h.

"From the system calculations, the monster will reach the city in 20 minutes," the staff replied.

"20 minutes, huh? The distance from Terrane to Ark at high speed takes an hour," Natasha retorted, striding casually as if no dangerous threat had occurred.

"Mr. Adrian won't be able to defeat that monster alone, let alone survive 40 minutes," Daniel retorted.

"Leave it be!"

Daniel and the staff in front of him gaped, staring at Natasha who was now standing in front of the main control desk.

In front of her, there was a large screen displaying satellite images of seven major human cities, accompanied by small and large red dots indicating monster detection.

"If we let it go any longer, Ark City will be destroyed and Mr. Adrian will—"

"Adrian is one of the Terra Legion members. He cannot be easily defeated. You should know that, Mr. Daniel," Natasha insisted, squinting sharply at the man beside her.

"Alright."

The elevator doors at the back opened one after another, Jasper came in with two women in sexy red dresses, the man's face flushed with the effects of alcohol. Natasha and Daniel looked back together.

"Shit! You people are really ruining my party!" Jasper snapped.

"Huft."

Natasha sighed, she swung her hand gracefully at Jasper, neutralizing his body from any kind of outside effects, including alcohol.

Another door opened, Issac came in a neat formal suit typical of a businessman. It didn't look like Issac was part of the Terra Legion.

"It's a good thing I didn't invest my money in the company in Ark City. That city would have been completely destroyed," Issac explained, stepping over and being surprised to see Jasper with his two whores.

"What's this time? A threesome?" asked Issac.

"You know my tastes best, Issac."

"There is no time to waste. I will go and destroy those damn monsters!"

Someone spoke sternly in a heavy voice. Out of the elevator doors emerged a burly man who was always shirtless.

His burly body was covered in monster scratch scars, his personality was always hot, hot in the sense of anger and hatred. Yet, he was loyal to the Terra Legion.

"Where's the spear guy?" asked Gordon.

"He's over there, protecting the city and his family," Daniel replied.

"An evacuation order is in place. But, due to the large population, it may take hours for them all to arrive at the bunker," Daniel explained.

"That's enough," Jasper said.

"Calculate the city's losses. Deploy Legion troops there to withstand the monster invasion. Tell them the Terra Legion is coming," explained Jasper, the leader of the Terra Legion group.

"Alright. I'll do it," Daniel replied.

Elsewhere, Ark City was burning in flames and black dust. Gray clouds filled the entire city with lightning striking in some parts of the city, the powerful impact of the appearance of mythological category monsters.

Above the southern gate of the city, Adrian stood wearing his Terra Legion uniform, his hand still gripping his sacred spear.

"Any news from the Legion Tower?" asked Adrian.

"Report. They said to start evacuating the population. Legion troops will be assigned to stop the monster invasion into the city," explained one of the Legion members.

"What about Terra Legion?" asked Adrian, firmly.

"They're coming," replied the man.

Adrian was silent, his eyes focused forward, towards the double-headed snake-shaped mythological category monster, Hydras.

One piece of information about the Hydras monster was that if you cut off one snake head, two other snake heads would grow.

The only way to defeat it was to stop the snake's regeneration using a sacred spell. However, only Natasha could do that and at the moment, she was not in Ark City.

'What are they really doing? Don't they know the devastating effects of a mythological monster invasion?' lamented Adrian, realizing his Terra Legion colleagues had yet to arrive.

More and more, the Hydra was getting closer to the City. Adrian had no choice. He flowed his magic energy into his spear, then flew powerfully forward to block the Hydra monster's speed.

The battle began, the Hydra that had a large body began to spout hot flames from its mouth. Adrian flew fast and weaved through several parts of the Hydra's body.

With one slash from the sky, he managed to cut off one of the snake's heads. But he didn't anticipate the snake's tail to hit him so hard.

Adrian's body was thrown so hard that it crashed through the city wall. Adrian was injured, but thanks to his spear skills, he recovered quickly.

'I knew this would be a high-stakes battle for me,' Adrian said.

He darted forward again to stop the monster invasion. Adrian slashed at the snake's head and again, the Hydra sprouted two new heads, a total of six heads that all spewed fire.

Adrian flew, his breath coming in exhausted gasps with the urgency of stopping the monster with or without Terra Legion.

He bit the tip of his finger, then applied it to the sacred spear. That was the technique of using the highest sacred weapon ability, every member of the Terra Legion had the ability.

Magic power emanated strongly around Adrian's body, making the wind blow strongly and blow away everything around him.

Adrian grasped the spear in his hand, then threw it straight like a javelin athlete. The spear shot out powerfully with great intensity, leaving a trail in its path.

THRUST!

Adrian's spear pierced through the Hydra's body and knocked the monster to the ground, stopping it from moving closer. The entire Legion cheered, happy that Adrian had defeated the monster.

Yet, they were too quick to rest on their laurels. The stab wounds on Hydra's body began to regenerate and heal.

The sacred spear returned to Adrian's hands, but Adrian was quite severely injured by the impact of using supreme power.

From the south, the monster seemed to have stopped walking. All the snakeheads began to concentrate their attacks on the huge fireball created by the Hydra's burst of snake fire.

As time passed, the magic ball grew larger and larger, sending chills down the spine of many people. Adrian saw that. He braced himself and flew to the front of the south gate.

He stuck his spear into the ground to create a protective wall, blocking the attack of the huge fireball from Hydra.

BLAST!

An explosion occurred, setting fire to the forests around the southern city of Ark. But because the power of the fireball was great, it was difficult for Adrian to withstand it.

Cracks in the shield wall were created. In the end, the barrier shattered and Adrian was pushed so far that it bounced outside the city to the north.

Everyone was frantically running for their lives, the city residents who had not yet evacuated were also running to leave the city.

"Adrian, help us."

"Father! Help me."

Adrian was unconscious for three hours after the magic ball explosion. When he woke up, he was stunned to see the Hydra already in the center of Ark City, raging relentlessly while spewing flames from its mouth, burning everything.

Four Terra Legions were fighting against them, a Legion staff was near Adrian, helping Adrian recover his body.

"You have tried, Mr. Adrian. Let the others finish the job," the staff said.

"You came late."
