Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Ye Tian

Chapter 1 : Ye Tian

In a simple wooden room illuminated by the soft glow of candlelight, the joyous voice of a white-haired woman echoed, her tone brimming with delight. Dressed in a plain white gown, she cradled a newborn in her arms and turned her gaze toward the woman lying before her.

"Congratulations, Mistress! It's a boy!" she exclaimed, her voice reverberating gently through the humble surroundings.

The woman on the bed, dressed in elegant green robes, her flowing dark hair cascading like a river of shadows, gazed at the infant with a serene smile. Her emerald eyes shimmered with warmth as they lingered on the new life before her.

"What will his name be?" the white-haired woman asked softly, her eyes full of anticipation.

The woman in green robes, her smile deepening, parted her crimson lips. "Tian... Ye Tian," she said with quiet reverence, her voice carrying the weight of both love and destiny.

Far beyond this tranquil moment, the heavens stirred, as though acknowledging the birth of a being whose name would one day echo across eternity.

But was this simply just acknowledgement or something more?

-----------------------

In a distant corner of the infinite universe, an ancient man exuding an ageless, profound aura sat silently before an enormous jade monolith. Despite its plain surface, the word "Fate" was etched into the jade, radiating an intangible sense of authority. It stood towering above the old man, nearly a hundred times his size, as though guarding over countless millennia of his solitude.

Suddenly, the monolith began to shimmer with a brilliant light, and the word "Fate" blazed in radiant gold. The old man's eyes slowly opened, revealing a deep, indescribable emotion within them—a mixture of reverence, longing, and awe.

"After all this time... you have returned at last," he murmured, his voice carrying the weight of countless epochs.

With trembling hands, the old man rose to his feet, only to bow low a moment later, pressing his forehead to the ground in a gesture of utmost respect and devotion.

"Master... welcome back," his voice quivered with emotion. "The heavens shall soon quake before your might once more... for the final time."

Back in the room,

The quiet wooden room was filled with warmth, the soft glow of candlelight flickering gently against the simple walls. Outside, the faint chirping of birds welcomed the break of dawn. The white-haired woman adjusted the newborn in her arms, her expression glowing with joy as she gazed at the peaceful child sleeping in her embrace.

"Mistress," she said with a broad smile, "He is such a calm and healthy boy." Her tone was filled with genuine happiness as she turned her attention to the woman lying on the bed.

The mother, Ye Lan, rested against the worn but sturdy wooden frame, her emerald eyes softening as she looked at her son. She was dressed in a green robe, her long dark hair framing her face as a serene smile graced her lips. Reaching out, she gently ran her fingers over the baby's small hand, marveling at his tiny, perfect form.

"Thank you, Xue," Ye Lan said softly, her voice tinged with exhaustion but also overwhelming joy. "He's perfect, isn't he?" She let out a small laugh, unable to tear her gaze away from the child in front of her.

The baby stirred slightly in his mother's arms, his tiny lips parting in a faint yawn before settling back into his slumber. Ye Lan smiled, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead as tears of joy welled up in her eyes. "He's everything I could've hoped for," she murmured.
