The atmosphere at the ninja academy was like every other day, nothing out of the ordinary. Teachers were giving lectures on chakra, the Will of Fire, or teaching the principles of the three basic Jutsus.
In Class A of the academy, a few recognizable faces stood out. Some of the most notable young students were there, whether due to their family backgrounds, incredible potential, or current actions.
Two girls were fighting over who would sit next to a boy who looked at them with annoyance, Sakura Haruno and Ino Yamanaka, each special in her own way. One was a future clan leader, the other an academic prodigy. The boy, on the other hand, had a slightly more scandalous background.
The last Uchiha, the "greatest" prodigy in the Shinobi Academy, the heartthrob of all the girls, the boy full of potential, many nicknames for one guy just something special..
In another corner of the classroom, a blonde-haired boy with three whisker marks on each cheek was making a loud fuss, yelling at his teacher about the injustice of Sakura never sitting next to him...
Yeah, it made no sense, but that was just how extravagant the blond was.
Naruto Uzumaki, a very strange boy, to say the least. He was among the lowest in the class when it came to theory but had above-average scores in physical training.
His family background was odd in every sense, often contradicting itself. The world advised staying away from Konoha's demon fox, yet it was strange how confidently he addressed the higher-ups. If he were truly dangerous or if his parents had committed a crime, then why the hell did he call the Hokage "grandfather"? Why the hell did the very Hokage of the village go out of his way to build a relationship with this idiot blonde?
Kiba was many things, brutally honest, disrespectful to authority, and sometimes pretended to be someone he wasn't around his classmates, but he was never a fool. His mother hadn't raised him to be one. That wasn't what shinobi were about, nor was it what he liked to be.
He had no theories about who or what Naruto truly was or why the Hokage valued him so much. But that didn't stop him from having doubts about his blond classmate. For now, he would let it go. It wasn't like he could do anything about it anyway, so it didn't really matter.
Shifting his gaze from Naruto, he focused on his other notable classmates.
Hinata Hyuga, who was staring at Naruto in a very peculiar way, as if she were looking at the most appetizing meal after walking for days through the desert. She had an innocent smile that sharply contrasted with her intense, unwavering lavender-eyed gaze.
The princess of the most powerful clan in the village at that moment, Hinata had a peculiar beauty that Kiba appreciated. But he completely despised how she never stood up for herself or showed her true strength in sparring. He had heard from his mother that she wasn't well regarded within her own clan.
They called her weak. Hah! If they could see how she fought in the academy, they would realize she was hiding her true strength. And if he had noticed, from the lack of impact her opponents' strikes had or how he contained his strength in his own blows, then he was pretty sure her clan hadn't missed those details either. They were just trying to make her life hell. A truly pathetic clan.
Kiba looked away from Hinata for a moment and turned his gaze to Shino Aburame. The guy was creepy, always silent, constantly analyzing everyone. He rarely spoke, and when he did, his words tried to be mysterious and intriguing. He never stood out too much, but it was clear he was hiding his true abilities.
Kiba respected that. That's what being a ninja was about. Not shouting about your dreams for the whole world to hear or trying to impress everyone by showing how "talented" you were.
The last boy in front of him was Shikamaru Nara.
To most, he was lazy, childish, uninspired, the epitome of mediocrity, always in the middle. His classmates thought the same, and honestly, they weren't entirely wrong. Shikamaru was lazy, lacked the spirit of a shinobi, and wasn't as ridiculously strong as the Uchiha or even himself. But he wasn't childish, nor was he mediocre. He hid his strength and intelligence among the extras in the classroom, always using his carefree attitude as camouflage to conceal his analytical mind.
Today's class was nothing special, the same things as last week: chakra, the Will of Fire, and those three basic jutsus. Nothing special.
At least, nothing special for the students mentioned earlier and all the extras in class. But…
Why the hell did he have a floating screen in front of his face, and why did no one else seem to notice it?!
A shinobi would have to be truly strange to set up such a pathetic illusion just to mess with him. Or at least, that's what he would have liked to say. The truth was, he had already spent several minutes trying to dispel the illusion with chakra pulses. Damn it! He had even bitten his hand until it bled to break free from whatever was in his vision.

Yes / No
This was really weird. Multiverse? What the hell was that? Gacha? Simple addictions, annoyances in the life of a true shinobi. - Kiba quickly hid his bleeding hand in his pocket, pressing against it to stop the bleeding so as not to attract the teachers' attention. -
Still, what was this all about? It didn't seem like an illusion, and he doubted he was going crazy. This had never happened to him before.
With some caution, Kiba moved his hand, trying to press "Yes" on the illusionary screen. But nothing happened. He grew more frustrated with each attempt until another screen popped up in front of him.
The system has detected that the host is attempting to interact using physical touch.
The host is advised that this system operates through mental commands, not physical contact or intentions. To activate a specific function, try communicating mentally with clear orders, always including the word "system" or the designated name to interact.
At least this thing, this "system", seemed to be alive or something close to it, since it was responding to him. And if this wasn't an illusion, then what did he have to lose?
'System, I accept whatever you are.'
The text in his vision disappeared, quickly replaced by another.
Binding with the host is proceeding smoothly. As a reward, the 10 free Gacha spins will be executed automatically.
Tic Tic, Tic Tic, Tic Tic, Tic, Tic.
Kiba watched as ten colorful squares spun simultaneously. As they slowed down, he recognized some of the items inside.

Kiba's eyes widened in shock. For a few seconds, his hands trembled. If this was real, then the things he had just won weren't mere junk to be dismissed.
Just the kunai of chakra metal was invaluable, one of those things was something he couldn't afford on his own.
And he had just obtained a ¡Damn! Legendary Kusanagi Sword.
¡those things were legends in this world!
swords wielded by only the best of the best. It was rumored that Orochimaru: The Snake Sannin used one during the third war, a single cut was enough to kill Jonin's.
Struggling to control his breathing, he suppressed a grin that threatened to split his face and patiently waited for class to end. If this Multiverse Gacha thing was real, he couldn't just pull a legendary sword out of nowhere without raising suspicion.
What would I tell the AMBU, 'It's nothing guys, I just found this legendary sword lying around while watching a black cat cross my path'. That was a damn sure-fire interrogation and torture sentence.
"And with that, we end today's class, guys, remember to diligently practice the blade exercise to have a good control of your chakra, and don't forget to review the theory of the three basic Jutsus, ah, and by the way, don't forget your practices with Ninja tools and.... -Iruka could not finish speaking because of the sound of the bells in the academy.
"¡¡RUUNN!! ¡Iruka-sensei wants to turn us into Zombies!"
All the kids at the academy quickly ran out of the classroom, trying to stay as far away as possible from Iruka.
"Uh, guys, I just wanted to remind you to keep a good average in class... Damn it, they've all already left." Iruka stared at the doors for a few seconds before walking away to correct the students' assignments.
Kiba was already approaching the Inuzuka family compound. He had been the first to escape Iruka's lecture and was eager to find out if his damn system was real or if he was just imagining it with some wild hallucinations.
