Recently news have been spreading around a country about unexpected terrorist attacks, those being explosions or assassinations. The public was not aware of who caused all these attacks or why, but the fear lingered in everyone's mind; the fear of the unknown affects people's actions more than anything else.
Due to this, any extreme situation seems to be automatically blamed on the terrorists, causing it to be more difficult to pinpoint their motives. Unknown to the public, the police began to think that there might be more than one active terrorist group causing mayhem. Any piece of information that might cause an uproar from the society was suppressed by the government.
In the capital city of Reltum, there has been the most commotion compared to the rest of the country. So whenever a new explosion emerged, it was assumed right away that terrorists caused it. But there was one explosion that had nothing to do with terrorism, yet that's what the common belief made people think.
Less than an hour ago, a small explosion was caused in an apartment building towards the outskirts of the city, only one room got significantly damaged.
…
"Jack, what do we do now?" stressfully said an old man.
"Fuck… I don't know, there's no way to explain this to the police, and doctors definitely won't believe this. Shit, I don't even believe this." a young man attempted to make sense of things.
With nothing left to say, both of them stay silent and simply stare at each other. Seconds later, they began to look around at how badly damaged was the bedroom. Burn marks, with the lack of fire to display what has happened, covering the walls and the ceiling; various objects and pieces of glass scattered around the floor; all of this presented a chaotic scene.
Besides the two men, there was a young boy lying on the floor, and unlike them, he seemed to be completely unaffected by the explosion; not a single wound covered his body. Despite not having any damage covering his body, the boy stayed unconscious.
"Uhm..." suddenly the silence was broken by Jack, "We can just say we have no idea what happened here. With the recent explosions popping up everywhere..."
The old man was surprised by that idea and felt like it was wrong to execute it, but nothing else came to his mind. Silence was seen as a sign of agreement by both of the parties; to make it seem like they have fallen into an attack that they know nothing about, the young man found his phone and called the police.
While he was waiting to get on the line with someone, the old man slowly walked closer to the boy lying down to examine his state. His eyes still couldn't believe how the boy was able to survive this explosion, since he had the highest risk of dying than anyone else. But no matter how closely he looked, not a single wound or mark was found on his body, only slightly torn up clothing.
"Really… Boy, what are you?" feeling that his confusion is not fading away, the man decided to stop thinking about it for now and get the boy in a bed.

An energetic, yet monotone voice of a woman appears, "Several hours have passed after the police arrived to examine the scene of the crime, and so far, everything seems to align with the reports from the witnesses. This is yet another horrific act of terrorism; just like most cases, the cause of the explosion is unclear. No signs of explosives or substances were found, this begs to question. How are these explosions being caused? And why? Is anyone safe from these attacks? All of these questions and more will be addressed later tonight by a special guest. This is RNN- the provider of the most important news, signing out."
