"LIAM JOSEPH WHITE!this is the fifth manager in two freaking weeks!" I heard ny dad bellow as he walked into my home fuming with anger. I'm pretty sure Jeff has submitted his resignation letter already.
"Jeez Good morning to you too dad"
"There is absolutely Nothing good about this morning. You have managed to frustrate every single manager I have gotten for you in the past two weeks! How is that even possible?" He said still fuming with anger.
"Dad, Drey was a very lazy assistant, He didn't get anything done and don't get me started on Jeff, he walked into my house and drank all my collagen water"
"Oh, would you stop all this madness, I am giving you just one shot with one last manager or you can kiss my help goodbye. I mean you're a 25 year old athlete and millionaire you should be able to get yourself one" I couldn't do anything but sigh. I mean i don't totally blame bro.
"Alright dad…. I'll be home for thanksgiving tho" I finally said when I Could find my voice. I saw his features soften even if he wouldn't admit it.
"I'll be here with her by 9 Am. I'll ll be the one doing the turkey, so yeah you better be home for thanksgiving". He said as he walked out the door.
I let out a little laugh of relief but then it hit me. What does he mean HER!.

Maybe my mind was playing tricks on me, dad couldn't possibly be thinking of getting a female manager for me right?
I shook the thought off my head. I probably heard wrong. I mean I was a professional athlete but my dad plays a vital role in my success and no matter how hard things seems with him. I'd choose him over anyone anytime.
Anyhoo.. dad's tantrum woke me up earlier than I would on Saturdays but that means I need to kickstart the day. I flipped some pancakes right after hitting the treadmill and taking a long befitting shower. I live alone in this huge ass condo. It may seem lonely but trust me it's not. I do everything myself. I mean no domestic staff except my driver Gordon. I love it that way, my own safe abode.
My life changed for the best when I won that race. From being noticed by own scout to being wanted in the national's track team. My life has changed in a whole lot of ways. I'm perceived as arrogant, maybe thats why i haven't had a good time keeping my managers. The sports agency gave up on giving me managers and my dad has to take up the role. Circumstances made him stop and now we are back to square one. They always complained about me being condescending and unbearable but they didn't get me . They were going about it the wrong way.
I didn't have a girlfriend, i mean I don't see my self getting into sny commitment at this point in life. Apart from flings and short term teen love in high school, there was nothing serious. It was either I was wanted for the money or because i was popular . I once overheard the girls on the cheer squad talking about the size of my my member. I was traumatized but that was years ago. I've been a runner since before i could tie my own laces. My dream was to go pro and I've been living the dream life for about 5 years now and now I'm taking it to the next level. I'm going for the olympics! Well as soon as I can get a manager. Everyone's either a coward or a greedy bastard.
Time flew by quickly and the sun had set. I was engrossed in my art; i write alot and It was my escape when i didnt want to go for a run. I turned off the focus mode from my device and saw my phone blowing up with notifications from Caden. Stupid guy must be horny as hell I'm sure because he said he wanted us to go to ONYX, I wasn't really in the mood for partying, but would he agree?
The answer to that question walked right through the door.
"My phone was on DND bro"
"Its always on DND, get dressed we going to onyx!!! They have a special tonight" Caden said as he propped himself on the sofa
"I don't feel like it today, you know what i mean?
"No I don't know, I have a good feeling about tonight, you'll enjoy it"
He was right, I needed to go out. I dashed upstairs and threw on some clothes.

Onyx was bubbling with people it seemed so full of life it's like everyone in the neighborhood gotten their heartbroken and need a distraction The people versus onyx are People with high caliber so seeing a national track star didn't freak them out Caden got some self busy with the people that were there and I on the other hand just sat down looking like a lifeless shriveled up raisin.
The bass from the speakers rumbled through My chest, the lights flashing in time with the beat. The club was packed, the air thick with energy as bodies moved in sync with the music. I found my way through the crowd, the heat of the place rising with every step, when I caught a glimpse of a striking lady.
She was standing near the bar, her laughter blending with the music as she talked to her friends. A flash of red caught my eye—her dress, fiery and bold, contrasting against the sea of black and denim. But it wasn't just the dress that made her stand out. It was the way she carried herself, as if she belonged in this chaos, yet was completely unbothered by it.
I moved closer in an attempt to make a move , the rhythm of the crowd carrying him in her direction. Just as I was about to approach, she turned, her eyes meeting mine. It was like gravity was working wonders. Time seemed to slow for a moment, the world around them fading into the background as we locked eyes. A playful smirk crossed her lips, as if she'd known I was coming, and I felt my pulse quicken. So strange!
"Hey," I managed to say, my voice barely rising above the noise and coming out like a whisper yet there was something magnetic about the way I spoke to her.She tilted her head, a knowing glint in her eyes. "Did you get lost in the crowd?" she asked, her voice smooth, teasing.
I chuckled, my smile widening. "Maybe... or maybe I was just looking for someone interesting to talk to."
Her lips parted in an almost imperceptible smile, a challenge in her eyes. "Well, lucky for you, you found me."
The air between us crackled with unspoken tension as the music thumped around them. I took a step and leaned in slightly, just enough to make the connection feel electric. "I guess it's fate, then," I said with a hint of mischief, "because I've been waiting all night for a sign."
