They quickly brought out a freshly made slice of cake, placing it carefully in front of the businessman.
"Sir, please accept this as an apology!" Haru said, his eyes shining with sincerity.
Leo and Riku bowed deeply, their movements perfectly in sync. "We're really, really sorry!"
The businessman, still dabbing at his suit with a napkin, looked at the beautifully decorated cake. It had a small cat-shaped chocolate piece on top, making it look both cute and delicious.
Before he could respond, Riku suddenly pulled out something from his pocket—
A small, handmade business card.
The businessman blinked, taking it in his hand.
It was completely different from the sleek, professional cards he was used to. Instead of a boring design, it was filled with hand-drawn doodles—a cat, a puppy, and a tiger—representing the three boys.
At the bottom, in messy but cute handwriting, it said:
"Thank you for visiting our café! Please come again!"
And next to it, they had stuck a free drink coupon.
Renji, watching from his seat, took a sip of his coffee. He had never seen someone handle an apology in such a chaotic yet charming way.
The businessman sighed, but a small smile appeared on his face.
He finally spoke, his voice less strict than before.
"Fine, I'll let it slide. But only because this cake looks good."
Haru, Leo, and Riku beamed in relief as they bowed deeply once again.
"THANK YOU, SIR!!" they said in unison.
The café, once again, returned to its usual warm and lively atmosphere.
