Chapter 5 - The Three Clumsy Waiters – Lost in the City

The sky had turned orange as the sun began to set. The city lights flickered on, making the streets glow like a dream. But for three clueless boys, it was a nightmare.

Haru sniffled. "We... we are lost!" His big, round eyes filled with tears as he clung to Riku's sleeve.

Riku patted Haru's back awkwardly. "D-Don't cry, Haru! We will find a way!"

Leo sighed, rubbing his forehead. "Okay, let's think. We came from the train station, so… uh… which way is the train station?"

The three boys turned their heads in all directions. Every street looked the same. Every building looked huge. And worst of all—there were no signs pointing back home.

Haru's lips wobbled. "We're gonna live here forever!"

Riku panicked. "We don't even have money for food!"

Leo's stomach growled. "And I'm already hungry…"

A Mysterious Man Appears

Just as the three were about to completely lose hope, the glass doors of a shiny, tall building slid open with a soft whoosh.

A group of men in expensive suits stepped out. They looked powerful, like business kings. One of them, a man with sharp eyes and slicked-back black hair, walked ahead. His suit looked more expensive than everything the boys had ever seen in their lives.

His assistants and security guards followed behind him like shadows.

Leo's eyes widened. He quickly turned to Riku and Haru. "Guys! That man looks rich and important!"

Riku gulped. "He looks like the boss of a whole country!"

Haru, still sniffling, whispered, "Maybe he owns this whole city…"

Before the other two could stop him, Leo marched forward and stood in front of the powerful man.

The tall man stopped walking and raised an eyebrow. His assistants also paused, looking confused.

Leo took a deep breath.

"Sir! Can you help us? We are lost in the city!"

The Rich Man's Reaction

For a moment, silence.

Then, the man blinked. Once. Twice.

His assistant gasped. "Lost? How did you boys get here alone?"

Leo scratched his head. "Uh… we took a train, ate ice cream, went to the park, and then… we forgot the way back."

The rich man stared at them, then turned to his assistant.

"You. Call their families."

Leo grinned. "Oh! We don't have a phone!"

The assistant choked on air. "Y-You don't have a PHONE?!"

Haru and Riku shook their heads innocently.

The group of businessmen and security guards looked absolutely shocked. It was like the boys had said, "We don't know what water is."

The rich man sighed, rubbing his temple. "Unbelievable…"

Then, he turned to his driver. "Take them to the car."

The driver nodded. "Yes, sir."

Leo, Riku, and Haru looked at each other.

Haru whispered, "Uh-oh… are we getting kidnapped?"

Riku gulped. "I-I don't think so?!"

Leo, with his usual confidence, nodded. "Guys, I think we just met a real-life rich hero!"

With no better option, they followed the men toward a shiny black car parked nearby.

Their night in the city wasn't over yet.
