"Brother, Wake Up, It's Morning!" shouted Oliv.
Sena woke up and briefly stared at the girl in front of him. She had a cute face, shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, a pointed nose, but her eyes were slightly slanted.
Then he closed his eyes again and said, "Five more minutes!"
Oliv got angry and pulled Sena, saying, "No way! You have to get up now! Yesterday you said the same thing, five minutes, five minutes, and then it turned into half an hour, and you ended up skipping school! Think about it, Bro! You're already grown up! If you keep being late and skipping school, you won't move up to the next grade!"
"Alright, alright, I'm getting up. You go downstairs first, Oliv. I'll catch up later," Sena replied, slightly annoyed.
"No! You'll just go back to sleep! Hurry up and shower. We're leaving together today! I've already prepared breakfast. I'm even all ready!" Oliv snapped.
Sena paused for a moment, then lazily got up and walked to the bathroom.
Before entering the bathroom, he glanced at the mirror, revealing the face of a young man who looked tired. His eyes were brown, his nose wasn't pointed but not flat either, his eyes were slightly slanted, his pupils were brown, his face was round, his eyebrows were thick, and there were dark circles under his eyes.
He was still very sleepy. Last night, he had stayed up late playing online games.
After showering, he walked to the dining table where the food was already prepared-just rice, fish, and some vegetables.
Oliv looked at her brother as if she knew what he was thinking and said, "Don't be picky with your food!"
"Yeah, yeah, you're so naggy," Sena replied.
His little sister was indeed naggy and annoying, but he knew it was because she cared about him. Sena knew that.
One day, he would repay all of Oliv's kindness because he was her older brother, and he would protect her in the future.
"Has Mom left already?" Sena asked.
"Yeah, she left really early. I didn't even get to see her," Oliv answered sadly.
Sena didn't like seeing Oliv sad, so he tried to cheer her up and said, "Don't worry. One day, Mom, you, and I will have breakfast together at this table."
"Okay, Bro!" Oliv replied softly.
They ate in silence, then washed their dishes and got ready for school.
They left together, walking to school.
Sena's friends usually rode motorcycles to school, but Sena preferred to walk and take the train, even though he owned a motorcycle. His reason was that he liked it this way, and besides, he didn't have a driver's license yet.
"Hey, what are you looking at, Oliv? You've been staring at your phone all morning. Don't tell me you have a boyfriend? No way, elementary school kids shouldn't be dating!" Sena exclaimed.
"Whatever! I'm just reading the news. Do you know what's been trending lately?" Oliv asked.
"New York City and its population disappeared?" Sena guessed.
"Yeah, some people say it's aliens, a mass abduction! The U.S. government says it was a nuclear power plant explosion, but that doesn't make sense. What do you think, Bro?" Oliv asked.
"Maybe it's an isekai phenomenon? A mass summoning ritual to another world," Sena replied, pretending to think deeply.
"You read too many comics and watch too much anime," Oliv teased.
Without realizing it, they had already arrived at Oliv's elementary school.
Oliv's school wasn't far from their house-just a 10-minute walk. Meanwhile, Sena's middle school required him to go to the main road, take a bus to the train station, and then ride the train.
"We'll part ways here. Be careful on the road, Bro. See you later, and don't skip school!" Oliv said.
"Don't worry," Sena replied.
Sena walked to the main road and boarded a bus. When he tried to pay, a tense situation arose between him and the bus driver.
"What's this? Only 200? You think this is your dad's minibus? Don't you know fuel prices are up? You look rich but only pay 200?" the bus driver snapped angrily.
Feeling both annoyed and embarrassed, Sena pulled out another 100 from his pocket and handed it to the driver.
"Geez, just say it nicely if it's not enough. No need to yell," Sena muttered under his breath.
He then walked to the train station, where a "devil" was waiting for him. Sena could almost see horns growing from the guy's head.
"Yo, Sena! I've been waiting for you! Let's go to the internet café!" the guy shouted.
The guy waiting for him was good-looking-handsome, with a pointed nose, a face like a Korean actor, brown eyes, and neatly styled black hair. He seemed to be using pomade.
"Idiot! I'm not falling for it today. I'm going to school," Sena replied curtly.
"Come on, I'll pay! Just help me finish 5 Low Priority matches. You're a master at D*ta," Julius pleaded.
Suddenly, two versions of Sena appeared in his mind: "Good Sena" and "Evil Sena."
"Bro, just skip school! You can always buy a doctor's note later. It's still the first semester; you have time. Besides, what's the point of school? You won't even use what you learn there when you get a job," said Evil Sena.
"Don't listen to him! If you skip again, you might not move up to the next grade! You promised your sister! You're the only son in the family; you have to work hard for your future. If you want to change, now's the time," said Good Sena.
......
"Let's go to the internet café!!!" Sena shouted.
"I win," said Evil Sena.
In the end, they went the wrong way and headed to the internet café.
"Stun! STUN HIM, JULIUS!" Sena shouted.
Suddenly, someone tapped Sena from behind and asked, "What game is this, bro? Looks fun. Teach me!"
"Oh, this is D*ta, bro," Sena replied, then turned around and saw who it was. His face turned pale.
MR. TEACHER!!!
"More fun than school, huh?" the teacher said with a smile.
OH CRAP!! I'm dead, Sena thought.
He then looked at Julius's computer. Julius was so focused on the game, wearing headphones. To his left, the vice principal was already waiting for him.
"Hey, you!" the vice principal called out, tapping Julius.
"Who's tapping me? Wait, I'm getting ganked here," Julius replied.
"Hey, you dare ignore me!" the vice principal snapped, grabbing Julius's arm.
"Stop nagging! I said wait!" Julius shouted, turning to see who had grabbed him.
Suddenly, his face turned pale.
"So, I'm nagging, huh?" the vice principal said.
Your story ends here, Julius.
That day was truly gloomy. I ended up cleaning the schoolyard, while Julius... who knows what happened to him?
