Maya is a quirky teenager with a social anxiety, she despice any form of social activity and she tries her best to prevent any activity that would attract attention to her. Her world was turned upside down when she had to change school because they relocated, Maya hated the attentions that being a new student attract and having to make new friends is the hardest task for her. Though she didn't have a lot of friends in her current school, she has grown accustom to them and their different nature.
Maya entered the class room she was directed to and her literature teacher welcomed her with a smile and told her to introduce herself to the class. "Hi.... My name is Maya" she said with a shaky voice. "Welcome Maya" a chorus reply can from the classroom starling her. She quickly took a glance at the class room and her eyes met with a beautiful Hazel eyes, it was nothing like she had ever seen before and she could feel herself drowning in it.
"Miss Maya!" The voice of her teacher brought her out of her day dream and she responded with a smile praying for the ground to swallow her whole. She was directed to her sit which was beside a cute light skinned girl with a short bob hair on glasses. "Hi, I'm Skylar nice to meet you" She said with a really wide smile. Maya just replied with a nod and a simple smile.
"Hello beautiful" a husky voice came from behind, she turned back to see a broad chested boy with a huge smirk plastered on his face and gave a smile to him, "my name is Aidan and I'm in love with you" He said with a smile. ," Aidan leave the girl alone or else I'll report you" Skylar warned saving Maya from having to reply to the awkward question. "Buzzkill" Aidan said retreating back to his sit.
Maya signed of relieve and her mind drifted to the hazel eyed boy, she turned to her side to catch a glimpse of him and their eyes jammed and she quickly looked away. She placed her palm on her chest as she could feel his intensed glaze boreing a hole on her skin, she could feel her heart beating faster as if it is about to jump out of her chest.
