Chapter 5 - The prince order

Prince Ryker's thoughts were interrupted by a soft knock at the door. "Enter," he called out, his voice firm.

The door swung open, and his trusted right-hand man, Viktor, stepped inside. Viktor was a tall, imposing figure with piercing blue eyes and jet-black hair. He had been by Prince Ryker's side since childhood, and the prince trusted him implicitly.

"Your Highness," Viktor said, bowing low. "I've come to inquire about the latest developments. There are rumors circulating among the townspeople about a Werewolf sighting."

Prince Ryker's eyes narrowed. "Yes, I'm aware of it. Elijah, the Werewolf, has been spotted in town."

Viktor's expression turned thoughtful. "And what are your plans regarding this...Elijah?"

Prince Ryker's smile was enigmatic. "I want you to keep a close eye on him, Viktor. Report back to me on everything he does, everyone he meets. I want to know his every move."

Viktor's eyes gleamed with understanding. "As you wish, Your Highness. But may I ask, what's the significance of this Elijah? Why is he so important?"

Prince Ryker's expression turned serious. "He's connected to the prophecy, Viktor. The one that speaks of great change coming to Everwood. I believe Elijah is the key to unlocking that change."

Viktor's face set in a determined expression. "I'll see to it, Your Highness. I'll keep a close eye on him and report back to you."

Prince Ryker nodded, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. "I knew I could count on you, Viktor. Now go, and don't fail me."

As Viktor departed, Prince Ryker's thoughts turned inward. He walked over to the large window in his chambers, gazing out at the moonlit gardens below. The silence was a welcome respite from the constant din of court life.

But even in solitude, Prince Ryker's mind was never truly at peace. There was a secret he shared with one other person in the kingdom, a secret that could potentially upend the delicate balance of power in Everwood.

Prince Ryker's thoughts turned to Elijah, the young Werewolf who had recently arrived in town. Few people knew that Elijah was actually Prince Ryker's brother, separated from him at birth and kept hidden away for his own protection.

Their parents, the king and queen, were still alive, but their father's illness had left him weakened and in hiding. Only a select few knew the truth: that Prince Ryker and Elijah were brothers, bound together by a shared secret and a common destiny.Prince Ryker's eyes still narrowed as he gazed out at the moonlit gardens. He couldn't shake the feeling of Elijah's presence in Everwood at all

"I hope Elijah won't take my chances of being a king," Prince Ryker muttered to himself, his voice low and determined. "I've worked too hard to get to this point. I won't let anyone, not even my own brother, stand in my way."

With a newfound sense of resolve, Prince Ryker turned away from the window and began to pace across his chambers. He knew that the road ahead would be fraught with challenges, but he was ready to face them head-on. The throne of Everw

ood was within his grasp, and he would stop at nothing to claim it.
