"Lia,can you get that?"

I turned around and glared at Camie.

"As you can see,your majesty, I'm busy cleaning this table,"I said sarcasm, making my voice hard, and Cameron rolled her eyes

"You cranky this morning,"she eyed me weirdly. "Lemme just go ahead and get table 7"

Ugh,as she can see, I am very cranky, and when I feel like this, I dont wanna be bothered with more work.

What was Camie busy doing anyway?

She got the weekend off, and I had to work two shifts.Mine and hers.

We only have three people that work here.Our boss, Sienna,who's also the chef and Cameron and I, who are the waitresses.

Cameron had to go to her sister's wedding on a farm outside Lakeview called Paradise Park.I have been there a few times and it's a beautiful place.Year in and year out lots of weddings and parties are held there.

Lakeview is what our town's called.Its a little place that's surrounded by farms with just a mayor as the head of the town.Nothing goes in or out without that man knowing.But our town is flourishing and every year we get new families that move here.

Anyway so I had to work two weekends, which includes Sundays also.And it's not half day.We clock in inthe mornings at six, and we work till six in the evenings.But Saturdays we get to close doors at 1 which I love.But this Saturday was horrible. We had a full house so I had to get every table there was.But luckily I am skinny and quick so I did a good job handling all the tables.We had to close up at six because we still had customers coming in.And Sienna loves money.She's so greedy.

When I got home on Sunday, I still had to do house chores since I lived by myself.I moved out of my parents' house when I finished college.But I was so tired I collapsed right on my couch.

I finished cleaning the table and welcomed a new customer.

They took that table I finished, and Camie came back smiling with the card machine.

"And then?"I asked her, going around the counter and getting a menu.

"Table 7 just gave us a big tip,"she said, giddy, and I laughed softly

"Thats Nice"I hid a yawn and Camie sight

"This weekend, it's my turn, so you can rest,"she said sympathetically

I only nodded and went to go give the menu to the customer.

She's damn right. It's my turn to get this weekend off.I'll start by cleaning my apartment and then doing my laundry. It's been piling up since last week.

I got back to the counter, giving the customer some time to go through it.

My friend Tracy called me last week asking me if I wanted to come visit for the weekend. I told her I'll come by on Saturday afternoon when I finished cleaning my apartment.

Shes a teacher at the next town over called Gideon's Burg.And she lives with her boyfriend Lucas.Hes this tall white guy with blonde hair and such warm brown eyes.And shes very tiny compared to him.But they compliment each other so perfect. She's mixed-race between a hindu dad and a white mom.So her skin color is brown like mine, but her eye color is a golden green. She is beautiful. I am the opposite of her.Also tiny ,skinny and I have dark hair that flows down my back, but I like to have it in a bun.And my eye color is a light brown.Im ordinary and boring.

So I'm driving through on Saturday afternoon to Gideon's Burg and im sleeping over too.

I can't wait!

And hopefully, I'll score a man on that side.

I've been so lonely.Going home and doing nothing.Its been a while since I've had sex too.Maybe a year.Around that time I had a boyfriend I thought loved me too.But he chose this blonde girl over me.Said he has wanted her since they were kids.I was just there for his lonely times.So in short he used me.Ha!And I was so blind and in love I didn't see the signs between them.After that incident I just didnt care anymore.Men wasn't my favorite at that time.But now that I feel a little frustrated and kinda horny Im losing focus.And I'm a little bitchy and rude.

"Order 25"I heard Sienna say from the kitchen and went and got my table's food.

"Drink ready love?"I asked Camie who was busy making a milkshake.

"There!"She said happily and I put all the stuff on my tray.

I looked on the wall clock quickly and sight softly. Almost closing time.Just another two hours and we are done for the day.

I yawned softly as I put my car keys down on the little rond table near my door.I locked my door because I won't be going out till tomorrow morning again.Put the house keys with the car keys and took of my shoes.Hung my bag on the door and paddled towards my kitchen.I went to the fridge got out my last bottle of red wine it seems.I need this so much.

That job is stressing me the fuck out.I went to college because my parents couldn't afford university. And I wasn't the brightest.But I did pass thank God for that.I have a certificate in office management but what can that do for me?I am too damn lazy.

And I love Sienna and Camie to bits.They like the only friends I have here.I only see Tracy sometimes on weekends when I am not busy.Or when they call me to come visit.

Other than that I am either here sleeping or cleaning.I am a damn loser.

I finished the bottle quickly and threw it away.

"I feel a little tipsy now"I giggled and sight.

Lets take a bath and eat something.

It was around ten when I got in bed a little drunk but happy.I am not an alcoholic but I do enjoy my red wine when I need an escape from all this tiredness. And this stupid job that isn't that stupid.

I am being so dramatic now.

I am twenty five and I am still so clueless about what I want.I had only two boyfriends so far and not one of them showed me the love I wanted.Nor any satisfaction. I had like three men on the side for just fucking but that was it.

I tend to fall in love quick.If I fuck a guy today I will fall for him.Its like he made me his so he is mine as well.But no one shared my opinion about that I am not a one night stand.I want a relationship that built on trust and communication. And loyalty. Like I am.I dont have a first love.The guy I am with now I love him while we together.But if we break up I want nothing to do with him.Its like he never existed.

But so far I have not gotten the same love I give back.Its always me giving and giving but I am not getting what I want.Men use me.I have gotten used to that.I am always a second choice or just another body to them.

I turned around closing my eyes.

Lets not think about the past.Lets just get some sleep and tomorrow everything will sort them self out.

The week went by fast and when I gotten off from work the Friday Tracy called me.

"Hey babe you good?"I asked, driving away from the cafe.

"Love!Yes I am well"her voice excitedly drifted through the aux."So you done with work?"

"Yeah I am driving home now.I am so tired"I answered her back.

I stopped when the robots went red.

"Oh yeah,you work twelve hour shifts which sucks.But hey!You get the weekend off.What time will you be here?"She asked getting a little impatient

"I was thinking about driving through in the afternoon. I have a lot of cleaning to do and some laundry also, "I explained to her and heard her sight"Whats wrong?"

"Well,Lucas has a friend"She said pausing dramatically and I stopped in front of my apartment building.I sat back against the seat and looked at my phone"He is also coming to visit Lucas"

"Oh?"I didn't dare hope anything. He might have a girlfriend or something.Most of the men I fall for is in love with someone else.And most of Lucas's friends who's also white tends to have girlfriends.That I have realised when I'm introduced to them.Andhe has handsome friends"I know you guys have only two rooms.I'll stay home then.Lucas must have a lot to catch up-"

"What?No,what are you talking about?"Tracy giggled"You talking silly.Are you not understanding me?I said Lucas has a friend.He is single girl"

I laughed softly

"Trace, love, you know I am not looking for someone now.I am happy on my own"I said and took my phone off the aux,holding it against my ear"Well,for now that is"

"Are you?Really?"I could see her already rolling her eyes like she always does when she thinks someis talking shit"Lilliana,we have been friends for four years.I know what type of man you want to end up with.And this friend of Lucas is definitely it!Girl I am telling you I saw a photo of him and wow!You are gonna fall in love immediately"

I sight heavily getting out of my car and taking my bag.

I locked my car and walked up to my door.

"I doubt he looks exactly like my dream husband. Muscular,with a bit of tattoos on his arm,dark eyes and tall?"

"Damn,your visual of your dream man is actually very accurate. Because Liam looks exactly like you describe, "I heard Lucas's voice

I shook my head.

"Does he?I feel like you guys are exaggerating"I opened my door and went in. "How can this Liam character look exactly like I invision my future husband?This has got to be a scam"

Both Lucas and Tracy laughed and I shook my head

"Come and see for yourself you will really fall head over heels for this man,Lia"Tracy said with a serious tone and a stiffen a bit"You will stand amaze at how utterly handsome Liam is"

"Hey,watch it"I heard Lucas growl and Tracy giggled"Liam and I met on Grey Varsity.Both studying Business.Hes like a brother to me,Lia.And I kinda see you two together."

I rolled my eyes.

"Lucas,most of your friends are in a relationship or looking for just a one night stand.How do you know if this Liam isn't the same?"I asked hope started to creep up on me.The last time someone tried to set me up with a guy he wasn't interested.But I had already fallen in love and humiliated myself in front of him.I swore I would never tell a guy my feelings again.

And i tend to keep that.

"Because,Lee.Liam happens to be one of the nicest guys I know who is the perfect gentleman"He said"Please,just get to know him.For us.I already told him about you and he seems interested to get to know you too.This is why he's coming for a visit"

"Where does he stay?"I asked rather then giving them an answer and put my bag down and my keys and heading towards the fridge.

I haven't bought any wine yet.So juice will have to do.

"He lives in Gildeon Hill."Lucas said.

Gildeon Hill is one of the towns in Gideon's Burg. But where the rich lives.So I've heard.

"You trying to set me up with a rich man?"I asked falling down on my couch where I will probably fall asleep on.

"Well,he kinda have his own busines..ses"Lucas mumbled and I sight."He is rich yeah but he isn't a bad guy.Come over and get to know him yeah?"

I took a sip of the mango juice and thought what the hell?Im just gonna go there tomorrow,look at the guy,see if he's interested and if he's not ignore him.That plan sounds awesome.I just want to relax.Nothing too intense or strenuous.

What's the worst that can happen?

It was the Saturday afternoon I stopped in front of Tracy as she waited for me at the parking lot in front of their apartment.

I laughed as I climbed out.

"Babe!"I said happily.She hughed me tightly and pushed me away gently.I frowned

"You late"was all she said, took my car keys, and opened my boot."Come on.Liam already arrived. So did that hoe Judith with that bitch Angelina"

Judith and Angelina is here too?

"What are they doing here?"I took out my personal bag as Tracy took my suitcase"Were they also invited?"

Tracy gritted on her teeth as we walk towards the door

"Apparently Lucas told Ace about Liam coming this side and Angelina overheard.She has had a crush on Liam for a while now and now she's here with that annoying skank called Judith"She looked furious. That's because Judith is hopelessly in love with Lucas.And Tracy has a very jealous streak in her.So dont even touch her man she will punch you right in the face.

"I hope they will just keep their visit short.I didn't come here for any drama "I said frowning when Tracy opened the door.

I heard laughter in the living room and looked at Tracy.She grumbled under her breath and just nodded to follow her.

"I hope that tart is not near Lucas or else I will flip my shit," I heard her say and shook my head smiling.

We entered the living room and there Lucas was standing near the little bar they had with two other men sitting on the stools near the bar with Judith,the red head, and Angelina, the black head sitting on the sofa"She finally arrived!"

Tracy put my suitcase down and went to Lucas who waved at me and I waved back.

Judith faked smile at me and I nodded at them.

Angelina, who I have met on several occasions since I have been here and who seems to hate me, ignored me.She stared at a man with a head full of beautiful dark curls and a huge back.He is wearing a black t-shirt and black jeans.I couldn't help my eyes as they roam his head to his back and my breath hitched a bit.

"Beautiful, Lilliana!"Ace, one of Lucas's friends, came to me and hugged me."You finally came to visit after months of silence, "

I smiled at him and pushed him away

"I am not your friend now am I?I'm Tracy's friend,"I said, rolling my eyes and look at my friend who seemed to glare at Judith as she stood in the arms of her man.

"Behave Kitty,"Lucas said to her and kissed her forehead"Lia come over here, let me introduce you."

Finally,I thought excitement made my face feel a little warm.

I put my personal bag on my suitcase and strode over to the bar.

The muscular guy turned to me, and my eyes widened a bit. "Liam.Lilliana"

He had these strict dark eyes that locked with my brown ones, and for some strange reason, all logic left my brain.My throat dried up a bit and I swallowed quick before taking a deep breath and holding out my hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you,Liam,"I said a bit hoarsely, and Liam looked at my hand and then at me and once again my breath caught in my throat.Even as he sat he was still larger then me.And when he held out his hand dark tattoos ran up his arms and I felt myself get kind of moist.

Shivers ran up my fingers as our skin touched as he shook my hand and held it for a few seconds before letting go.

"The pleasure is all mine,Lia,"he said in a deep, dark voice that made my nipples stand erect.

Oh my gosh.What is happening to my body?I know I have been pent up, but this is preposterous.

A needy ache settled deep in the pits of my stomach, and I looked away from this alluring man who was still staring at me.Those eyes of his would haunt me till the end of time.

"Can I get some wine?Red if you have,"I ignored Lucas's amused gaze and looked at Tracy, who had a blush on her cheek staring at Liam and me. "And Trace my bags"

"We will sort sleeping arrangement out later. Go put it in the guest room.Liam will you be so kind as to help Lia,please?"She said sweetly and I glared at her

"No,thank you Liam but-"

"I dont mind"And the man was already standing up

I stared at Tracy bitterly and she suppressed a smile.Lucas pressed his lips together ignoring me and I sight.

I looked at Judith and Angelina and they were glaring at me hatefully.Angelina a bit too much.

What did I do?

I stared at Liam in all his amazing tallness as He picked up my small personal bag and hand it to me with his gaze fixed on me.I ignored it but I still felt it.I took it and his fingers brushed a bit against mine.Electricity ran up my arm at that tiny bit of contact and I walked quickly down the hall with him following me.

Oh,good Lord.What would go wrong?Did I really say that?I have a strong attraction towards this really hot man that's way out of my league.My legs feel a bit jelly and my boobs heavy.Like...its begging this man to touch it.

I just met him.I can't believe my body's reaction towards him.

I looked back at Liam and my eyes widen as I saw his dark eyes on..my lower body.

I stopped and he also did.

Slowly he stared down in my eyes, and I bit my lower lip, forgetting how to breathe. His lips parted as his dark gaze roamed over my face.I opened my mouth to say something, but all that came out was a puff of air as he stood a bit closer.

I cleared my throat, turned around, and walked away from him.I heard him chuckle and blush, stopping in front of a dark door.

I opened it and went in, putting my bag on the big king-size bed.

I heard the door close behind me and jumped a bit.I turned around, and Liam stood there overbaringly tall, staring at me.

He let his eyes go all over my body, and he licked his lips slowly.

Oh,I thought breathlessly, just standing, still letting him literally undress me with those dark orbs.

It's getting really hot inside this little room, and I can't think.

What is up with me?Yes,he looks like the man I would marry, but we just met.My brain is having a melt down right inside my head.

"What are you doing?"I got out finally when he took a step towards me

"What do you mean?"His deep voice grazed over my body."I'm putting your suitcase on the bed,"

My whole face went red with embarrassment, and I stood to the side so that he could put the suitcase on the bed. "What did you think I wanted to do?Put my hands all over you?"

I gasped, and my gaze flew up to his teasing ones. "Kiss those nice and wet lips?Do you want me to kiss you?"

I opened my mouth to say something but my eyes accidentally caught his mouth and I stared back into his gaze which darken a bit"We just met."

I bit mine but didn't look away from him once."We..barely know each other and you want me to kiss you"

That sounded so unsure but sure at the same time.

"I dont want you to kiss me."I got out panting a bit. "We just met five minutes ago.How could we ..."

He smirked darkly and stood a bit closer to me.I felt the heat radiating off of that delicious body and took a step back forgetting that the closet was behind me and jumped a bit when I felt it behind me.

"Oh,pumpkin,you testing me here"he said in a low growl that had my thighs rubbing against each other.Liam stared down on my face,eyes on my lips before he took a deep breath and stood back"Fuck..."

He turned around and went to the door.Without looking at me again, he went out and left me there gasping for air as if he did kiss me.

"Oh."Was all I could get out before falling back against the closet doors.
