Chapter 1 - Chapter: 1

The sound of distant gunfire crackled through Ben's headset as he ran through the ruined streets of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2's campaign. His fingers moved on instinct, navigating through enemies with the precision of someone who had spent years perfecting every mission. He had already run through Modern Warfare 2 and 3 earlier in the night, alongside some Black Ops zombie rounds, but nostalgia kept him going.

Just one more game.

Then, everything flickered.

His screen glitched, colors distorting into a mess of static and numbers appearing in his head like mason from black ops. His controller grew lighter in his hands no, it was vanishing. The sound of explosions and gunfire warped into an eerie silence. A weightless sensation overtook him as if he were being pulled from reality itself.

Then blackness.

Ben's eyes shot open, and he was immediately hit by the scent of saltwater and the hum of advanced machinery. The warmth of the sun on his skin made his heart skip a beat.

This… this wasn't his room.

He sat up quickly, his breath hitching. Towering glass buildings stretched high into the sky, reflecting the ocean waves below. Sleek, futuristic technology buzzed in the distance. The air smelled impossibly fresh, nothing like the stuffy space of his gaming setup.

His heart pounded. No way.

As he looked around he heard "The Numbers" and he was wondering how he could hear it maybe it was because he was playing to much black ops and Before he could even process the impossibility of it, a unfamiliar voice called out.

"Umm Hey, you okay?"

He turned sharply, and his breath caught in his throat.

A Girl stood there, her blonde hair pulled back, glasses resting on her nose, her blue eyes filled with concern.

And the way she looked at him like he was her best friend made his stomach twist.

Something was seriously wrong.

His mind raced, but before he could say anything, his hand tingled. A familiar weight pressed into his palm. He looked down and nearly dropped it in shock.

A perfect replica of his Hand Gun From his loadout in COD sat in his hand.

His body went cold.

This wasn't a dream.

Somehow, he had a been isekai'd.

And he had no idea how or why he was here.
