Chapter 3 - 3

"Boss, one bowl of tonkotsu ramen!"

"Coming right up! Please wait a moment, your tonkotsu ramen will be ready soon!"

The Kenichi Ramen Shop was bustling with business as usual.

It had been a week since the grand opening, and business had steadily grown, becoming a staple among Konoha's citizens.

Surprisingly, Kenichi discovered that his chakra refining talent wasn't bad—or perhaps his comprehension ability was just above average.

It hadn't taken him long to extract chakra, and within days, he had successfully learned the Clone Jutsu. Additionally, his physical strength had improved, likely due to the constant manual labor required to run the shop.

At first, he had planned to use clones to help with ramen-making, but unfortunately, the basic Clone Jutsu only created intangible illusions, incapable of handling physical tasks.

So in the end, he had no choice but to continue making ramen by himself.

"Your tonkotsu ramen is ready! Please enjoy!"

Kenichi wiped his hands, satisfied. During the past few days, his savings had increased steadily.

The first three days saw an average daily profit of 3,000 ryo.

By the fourth day, earnings had stabilized at 2,000 ryo per day.

After deducting expenses, he had saved over 17,000 ryo—just enough for a luxurious ten-draw from the highest prize pool.

"Tonight, I'll finally get to see what high-tier rewards I can pull!"

As Kenichi's business continued to thrive, more and more ninjas had started frequenting his shop.

"Boss, two bowls of assorted ramen, please!"

Kenichi looked up and recognized a familiar face.

It was the Hatake clan ninja who had delivered his compensation money days earlier.

He was accompanied by a young boy wearing a forehead protector.

"Wait… is that—?"

Hatake Sakumo.

Kenichi's eyes widened slightly.

"No way… I just ran into Kakashi's future father?"

But there was something strange.

Wasn't Hatake Sakumo known for being kind and gentle?

Yet, right now, his young face carried the same cold, indifferent expression Kakashi had in his childhood.

"What's wrong?" Hatake Sakuya, the older ninja, asked.

"Oh, nothing! I just think the name Hatake Sakumo has a strong presence. He'll definitely become famous in the ninja world one day."

Sakuya chuckled. "You hear that, Sakumo? Make sure you don't disappoint Boss Kenichi's expectations!"

"Tch. Got it, brother."

Kenichi smiled and motioned for them to take a seat. "Please sit tight, your ramen will be ready soon."

As Kenichi served the steaming bowls of assorted ramen, Sakuya suddenly spoke up.

"Boss Kenichi, I can sense a change in you. You've refined chakra, haven't you?"

Kenichi scratched his head and grinned. "Yeah, a little. Just some family techniques, nothing special."

He sat down and continued chatting.

"My Ishiwaka family used to follow Lord Hokage when Konoha was first established. Back then, we had a few ninjas in the clan. But later, my father died in battle, and soon after, my mother passed away from grief, leaving me alone."

He spread his hands helplessly.

"As for me? I don't have much talent. I only refined chakra at this age—I'm nowhere near strong enough to be a ninja."

Everything he said was true.

The original Ishiwaka family had indeed been loyal followers of Senju Hashirama, though they were never particularly powerful or influential.

If Sakuya wanted to investigate, he could easily confirm the facts.

The older Hatake nodded. Kenichi appeared to be in his early teens, and his chakra was still at a beginner level.

"At this age, his talent really isn't suited for a ninja's path," Sakuya thought.

Most Konoha shinobi were already fighting in real missions by the time they were ten years old.

He glanced at Sakumo, who was silently eating his ramen.

"Well, at least he's doing fine as a ramen shop owner. The business seems successful."

The Hatake brothers finished their meals, paid the bill, and stood up.

"Thank you for the ramen!"

"You're welcome! Come again anytime!"

Sakuya waved as he left.

Kenichi watched them disappear into the distance.

"Did I just establish a good connection with the Hatake clan?"

He shrugged and got back to work.

That night, after cleaning up and closing the shop, Kenichi locked the doors and windows before sitting cross-legged on his bed.

He counted his earnings and set aside a backup fund before opening his Recharging System interface.

"Alright, time for my first high-tier ten-draw!"

"System! I want to top-up!"

[Oh! My dear master, how much are you recharging this time?]

The smug-looking Husky system appeared with a flattering smile.

Kenichi really wanted to kick it.

He took out his stack of ryo.

"16,800 ryo!"

[Ding! Congratulations, dear master! Recharge successful!]

The money vanished instantly, but his coupon balance jumped to 168,002.

The extra two points had been left over from a low-tier draw he did previously.

"Haha! This feels amazing!"

Kenichi laughed like a wealthy businessman.

"Alright, System! Give me ten draws from the highest-tier prize pool!"

[No problem, dear master! Initiating high-level ten-draw!]

A golden roulette wheel appeared, slowly spinning.

The wheel clicked, locking in rewards one by one.

[Ding! Congratulations! You have received—]

✔ Large Chakra Increase ×4

✔ Weasel Clan Summoning Contract ×1

✔ Chakra Sealing Method ×1

✔ Evil God's Immortal Body ×1

✔ Shadow Clone Training Manual ×1

✔ Large Chakra Increase ×2

"What the hell? Four of my first draws are just 'Large Chakra Increase'?! Where's my high-tier stuff?!"

Then—his eyes lit up.

"Wait… A Weasel Clan Summoning Contract?"

Psychic beasts were incredibly useful in battle and message delivery.

But… was there even a Weasel Clan in Naruto?

"Wait a second… Is this related to that mythical folklore?"

Then he remembered—his Recharging System had once said:

[I have things from the ninja world… and also things the ninja world doesn't have.]

"Ah… so it pulls random entities from across multiple universes… This could be interesting."

Kenichi continued checking his rewards.

Chakra Sealing Method – A valuable defensive technique.

Evil God's Immortal Body – What?! Was this connected to Jashin (Hidan's cult)?

Shadow Clone Training Manual – Finally, a real jutsu!

More Chakra Boosts – Not bad, but still…

Kenichi clenched his fists.
