Chapter 1

First day at stonefield college.

It was a dark cloudy morning, the sky was gloomy and had this eerie vibe to it, Elina was getting ready to go to college for the first time, she had just woken up few minutes ago by her alarm clock and was taking her bath in the tub, she lived alone, her parents had rented an apartment just for her which had everything she needed for school, she was feeling super good & hummed to her favourite song "not like us" since it was her first day to be in college.

After a nice warm bath , she didn't have breakfast cause she was getting late for school and didn't have time to prepare something for herself,she hurried out and locked her door, she stopped a taxi and it drove her off to her destination, stonefield college, not really the best college out there but it was really pretty and was ranked in the top ten best and most prestigious schools known in the city. After getting off from the taxi she carried on her shoulder, a black Louis Vuitton bag with golden coloured zips and hurried into the gigantic gate which hid the exquisite building from the outside world, she didn't have time to admire the beauty of the amazing structure, all her focus was on getting to class as quickly as she could.

As she was about entering the door after passing the hallway few walks after, she bumped into a menacing figure, she fell down on the floor and when she looked up to find whom had bumped into her there was no one there, she thought she lost it there or maybe hallucinated for a second but she didn't have time to think about that and hurried off to the door her class was to be held. She was already familiar with the surrounding of the structure cause she been there a year ago for enquiries and also the big library which was her main focus then and so she did a lil bit of sight seeing and got used to the place.

On getting to the door of the class she took in and out quick deep breaths cause she was feeling anxious and worried about what would happen next at the other side the moment she opens the door. She got a bit courageous and took a leap of faith and finally opened the door. She met professor Jackson also known as the blue eyed demon whom was always talked about,was lecturing and she wanted to sneak in but was caught by the demon in flesh "Hey young miss and who might you be sneaking into my class at such hours of my lecture".Elina got a bit scared cause of the rumors she has heard about him being ruthless and wicked to students. "Good morning, sir, I'm Elina" she stuttered still feeling like her heart was about to fall off from her chest to her stomach. "And why are you late to my class and on the first day at that , I suppose the weather doesn't look too good but not a single drop of rain has fallen from the sky so far" he said to her sternly with his spectacles fixated on her and his eyes as if piercing through her soul. He was actually a really attractive man with those blue eyes of his and skin white and spotless as snow in winter, but his personality killed it all and that was what led to him being nicknamed "the blue eyed demon". "Uhmm I was caught up in traffic and couldn't find a taxi on time I'm deeply sorry for coming late sir, it wont happen again" Elina said feeling agitated and she had to lie to keep her self safe , but the demon was no fool, he saw right through her "Nevermind I can see right through those eyes of yours that you just lied to me but I'll let you off and I do hope you can catch up with the class and don't drop off like the others, this place is a facility only for the intellectual minds , you're dismissed from my line of sight " Elina didn't waste a single second to process that as she found her way through the crowd to the seats at the back, all eyes on her but she acted like she didn't see them"Great first day and I've already made a scene" she thought.

After an hour has passed , the bell rang for the end of class, Elina's tummy rumbled noisily , she remembered she hasn't actually eaten, she checked the time on her Phone and found out it was 11am she walked down to the cafeteria and was ordering her food but got stopped on her way to the sits by a petite looking miss with blonde hair "heyyy tigress sorry about what happened earlier in class with my dad, he could be mean at times but he's a very loveable person when you get to know him well " she said looking pitifully at Elina. Looking sandy up close she does look like the blue eyed demon, she even got his eyes as well, Elina just nodded and moved to the sits and sat down. Sandy sat opposite her and said "by the way I'm sandy, one of the coolest girls with over 1M followers on IG and you are?..."she said grinning from ear to ear "Elina" Elina replied her softly , still feeling a bit tensed from earlier and wasn't really in for a conversation at the moment, she tried focusing on the chunk of food before her, but Sandy's friendly demeanor and smiley face made it hard for her to stay distant and silent.

"Well Elina you're one lucky girl" sandy said to her with a bright smile resting her chin on her hands "Trust me when I say this, if my dad wasn't actually in a good mood that morning I'm sure you wouldn't even have time to be eating this much food,you won't even have an appetite, you'd be some where doing some major research paper work"

"For real??" She screamed almost coughing out the food in her mouth. Sandy chuckled after seeing her expression "yeah, but you seem brave today, others would've melted at that stern gaze even I sometimes can't handle it, you're new right you don't feel like someone from this town with survival instincts and all that"

"Yeah I'm new here, i rented an apartment , well I got everything set up by my parents though" Elina said with a small smile on her face thinking about them. "That's nice if you need help with anything in this mad zone of a school don't hesitate to let me know I'll be at your service, especially with the professors they could be real mean at times, you're on WhatsApp right? Here save in your number in my phone" sandy handed her phone to her

While she was dialing in the number, a sudden whoosh of wind blew into the cafeteria, the cutlery jingled on the racks where they were hung, the lights flickered and Elina felt strange ominous vibe from the atmosphere, the chatters & sound became reduced all at once, her fingers trembled and she felt cold in an instant like she was placed in a freezer or something

Sandy noticed her feeling out of it ."Hey you feeling okay there tigress?"

"Yeah" Elina replied her quickly brushing it off even though her gut feeling told her something was totally off "just tired and feeling a bit dizzy maybe cause you haven't allowed me eat anything" she faked a laugh

But deep down inside of her, she couldn't shake that eerie feeling that something or someone rather was watching her up close.
