Devon Smith a man in his mid thirties was traveling around England with his co-workers. They were going on a team building trip and since the job was remote they could do and go anywhere and still work.
Devon unlike the majority of his partners was an anti-social type who love games and fantasy stories. He traveled with them but did not really want to experience the new country even though they were going to historical ancient sites.
They were heading to Scotland to see the sites of William Wallace. He was one of Devon favorite figures so he joined the team on this day.
They got to where they wanted to go and had a great time that ate laughed and finally the day was coming to an end the bus the were on was heading to the stop infornt of the hotel they chose. Devon was half asleep as he heard the driver say the name of the next stop which was theirs.
The bus slowed to a crawl and as it stopped was the momentum reach zero it happend. The bus exploded and took out the entire block.
"Uh this is a nightmare", Devon heard these words. Then confusion set in as the last thing he remembers is a white flash then a bit of pain, then nothing absolutely nothing. He could not use any of his five senses.
Then he heard it again " arggh, this is ridiculous the Damn brits should have stopped this, what happened "?
"Should he just go back and stop it"? "No we can mess with time more then we already have that's probably why some thing skipped past me and let this happen. Time is a fickle thing you know" .
As this conversaton is going on in the background Devon finally can start to see. He turns his head from. Side to side and can make out the blurry silhouettes of his colleagues. He scans around and stops on the only solid figure among them.
It was a pure white being that had no facial features or any redeeming qualities like a mannequin the only thing was the elaborate blanket around the beings shoulders to cover it up.
" oh they are finally regaining there senses, should we start now "? The question was being asked to someone but no one at the same time like the being was speaking to it's self.
"Yes let's start" . "Hello humans, before you all panic let me tell you you have all died." Devon expected this but his colleagues panicked and were hysterical.
The being sick of hearing the screams and crys waved his hand and all of there moths disappeared in and instant. The being was still unhappy though as he could still read there thoughts. Why,what happened,how could it happen, I'm to young, in that split second these thoughts and many more crossed the peoples minds.
"Calm down, this was not supposed to happen so I will give you all another chance". As the being was saying this the thoughts stopped and went to waves of excitement.
There are ten people total that were brought in front of the being. Five are in Devons group and five were staff at the hotel. The being did not like the American politician that was the target so he did not get a second chance.
The being looked around and had the souls line up Devon being a slight outcast went to the back of the line.
The first was a beautiful woman early twenties and very concieted. She had every right to be with her looks according to Devon. As his senses strengthened he was able to make out the blurry figures of the others. She was in the top five most beautiful people he has ever seen. She was a colleague of his but he never spoke to her.
The being asked this woman what she wanted in a new life. Her answer was to be expected. She wanted to be reborn in a rich and wealthy family where she would not have to work if she did not want to, she wanted to be the most beautiful woman there is. She also wanted to have the freedom to be with anyone she wanted. She opposed arranged marriage. The being nodded his head and said " it will be done".
It spoke further " you will be reborn into a caring extremely wealthy family you will have no worries for your new life as it was partially my fault for your shortcomings today". It stepped forward and with a wave of its hand the woman disappeared.
Devon started to think. The being is granting every wish he did not decline to send us back to our own world or argue with the requests. The geers were churning in his head.
The next four people were all pretty similar with their requests and none thought outside the box. The being was getting bored with the mundane request of these people it was all about money and happiness.
The sixth person bulking bell hop from the hotel had other thoughts though. He wanted power and influence he had struggle his entire life and the opportunity rose. However the man did not want to return to this mundane world he was from. He wanted a futuristic life. Where people could be stronger then what humans from his.previous life were.
The being was interested and said " hmm I can make this happen but what starting point do you want" the man said " I want to be born in a good family and have the best potential for strength and power. I'm determined to work hard." The being finally showed a bit of emotion, the edges of his lips curled up.
"Very well you will be born to a supreme elder of a sect in a cultivation world, it will be tough but relatively peaceful untill you leave your family if you chose to do so." And with another wave the man was gone.
This took a bit of power for the being to do as he had to create the world and the right circumstances for the man. But it was a very miniscule amount to do so. With that man done the others were thinking of power now. The next three people wished for very similar things. These were all the bottom of the barrel workers of the hotel who had been shit on by the wealthy. So it was only natural to want wealth and power. So the being adjusted a few things to the world he just created and sent them off As well.
The last before Devon was a coworker of his and this guy wanted something similar to the rest but co.pletely different. He was a naturally horn person and he wished to be sent to a harem anime world. Devon surprised this guy was into anime and stuff wished he would have gotten to know him better. " maybe I could have had at least one offline friend " were devons thoughts.
The being sighed and shook his head. " Okay if that's all you want il through in a few treats instead of reincartion i will
transmigrate you. You will go to the highschool dxd world as issei the red dragon emperor." The man wanted to say something but was cut off.
"About a year before Canon starts and I'll give you some thing extra it is another sacred gear that will help you survive and to beat rizer. It is a sword that has anti magic effects and full counter. Oh and to fuck up Canon cause the story kinda sucks, so no matter who reincarnated you as a devil as that's what you want. They will only have to use one pawn peice. Enjoy the new op life." With a wave of his hands the man was goes leaving only Devon.
Devon was laughing his ass off at the poor guy who only had a general idea at the beginning and the being rolled with it. Making up his own scenario for the man. But Devon was different. He had a plan by now.
The being looked at Devon with a sharp face as he read all the thoughts in devons mind.he was calculating every aspect of Devon.
The being had done this thousands of times. He was looking for something specific and he believed he found it with Devon.
The being thinks but that will be for later. If he survives. Devon was waiting for the being to speak to get rid of the awkward stare down they were in.
" finally the last and what is it that you want" the being broke the silence. And Devon answered "i want many things and you have granted everyone else's wishes so please if i can make a list it would be appreciated".
The being nodded his head and was happy that Devon had a full plan. Devon started to speak again. " Firat I want the shadow monarch system from solo leveling . I want to go through the process to be the shadow monarch." The being nodded
Devon smiled and said " second I want to be able to choose people to give the other monarch titles to as well with a system of there own." The being puzzled by this tilted his head. Devon saw this and stated he wants some allies who are as capable as he will be and some enemies or he will get bored.
The being nodded and Devon continued" third in want to be able to start the opening of gates in the world I am to go to as this will help the regular people grow strong as well. Giving me more opportunities for fun and better soldiers. "
The being was thinking he wanted to be transmigrated as sung jin woo. Devon anticipated this by saying " i don't want to go to solo leveling world. I want to have the concept of that world along with the systems and other requests in the world of game of thrones. I want to be transmigrated as Jon snow at the same time as the show starts."
The beig nodded in understanding intrigued he asked "anything else" Devon nodded and said" for the fifth and final request I wish to be able to increase the level of other people so if the person awakens at c rank i can make them s rank if I want."
The being agreed and he was about to send Devon off but decided to inform him " I'm going to change a few things to this world once you reach level 20 the gates will open all across the world. That's about it I just don't want you getting too powerful without opposition where would the fun be in that." Devon smiled and agreed with the being. One more thing " you will be reborn as Jon not transmigrated but your memories of your previous live will come at start of Canon along with the system enjoy your new life and grow strong Jon snow" the being was laughing at his own joke then waved his hand and Devon disappeared from that plain.
The being says to himself "I hope he survives and did not bite off more then he can chew. now i will sleep as giving the spark to create a new god level being took to much energy".
" It will be at least 5 years before I can watch the show I just record what happens end enjoy when I wake. Hahaha"
With that the being settled in and fell asleep in the bed he created.
