The year is 3000. Seven centuries have passed since the third world war. After the brutal war, may continents were destroyed and now the planet now has only one continent which is known as a 'Mega Pangea'. The size of the continent is thrice the size of Asia and Europe combined. The current world population is around three billion. Mega Pangea is divide into two halves. One of them is known as Central-Land and the other part is called Waste-Land. The center chunk of the continent is the Central-Land which is guarded by strong titanium walls in order to prevent the entry of 'Wasters' in the posh society. Central-Land is almost like a paradise on earth. Home for the rich who don't have to pay taxes, who get all resources for no cost at all and who possess the control over G.O.D.(Global optimizing device) which is an A.I. developed in the late 2300 by the American government which has been sold to all the countries for use. An interesting thing about the Pangea is that the residents of both the nations include people from all corners of the previous globe. If one were to enter Central-Land or Wasteland, they would see Chinese, Americans, Africans, Indians, Germans, French, etc. G.O.D. is an omnipresent A.I. which has it's nano-molecules present in the air of Central-Land. Made with a synthetic material which is non-lethal if ingested by humans. G.O.D. has the power to create anything out of thin air basically. If one were to walk on the street and see some rabid dog chasing them, they could just say "Stick.Manifest" and the A.I. would create a stick and place it in their hand. During the year 2489, there were many legal cases on G.O.D. and many restrictions were implied. Some of them are:

1) G.O.D. cannot create random thing. The thing must be existing for it to be manifested. For example, one can't create a mermaid because it's non-existing but can however manifest a pistol because it exists.

2) Manifestation of any lethal objects takes five minutes for creation and once the weapon is created, it has to be approved by the Central Government. Each weapon approved by the central government has a red stamp on it which has a logo on it that looks similar to the 'evil eye'.

3) If any resident was to be found committing any unlawful activity with the help of the A.I. , They will be put in a 'VOID ZONE' which are prison rooms that have nothing except oxygen in them. The room is devoid of all nano-molecules.

4) G.O.D. cannot create any organic material like food or drinks .

5)G.O.D. cannot create any sort of currency. All the notes and the coins issued by the central government has the red stamp on them too which G.O.D. is prevented of imitating.

6) A special force has been made in the police department that solves crimes which involve the usage of any nanotech weapons. The punishment for an A.I. crime is death by hanging in front of the whole nation.

There are many other rules too but these are the major ones. Since the discovery of the this genius concept, there have been lapses. The number of A.I. manifested weapons have increased. There have been several reports of crimes committed with the aid of G.O.D. and the new special force known as A.I.P.D (Artificial Intelligence Police Department) have been solving many cases. However, most of these crime are committed by Wasters.

Who are Wasters?

The citizens of Wastelands, that surrounds the Central-Land, are Wasters. The citizens of Central-Land are known as Centrals. Wasters are the poorer section of the population. They all live in terrible condition with their lifespans not exceeding 50. Every Waster has only one goal, getting inside the Central-Land. It all maybe started around 2500 when a Waster by the name 'Juan Hernandez' , who was an ex Mexican cartel member, made his way into the the CL. After that he gathered many other wasters by smuggling them in. They then started manifesting weapons in bulk. Since that day, crime rates have been rampant. The Border control and the A.I.P.D. tries their best to prevent any Waster intrusion but they are unmatched by the skills Wasters possess. Juan started a cartel in Wastelands back in 2505 called " Banda de Lobos" which means 'Band of wolves'. They have been known as the 'BDL Cartel'.

In the current year, 3000, there have been many political issues between the Wasters and the Centrals and things are hinting towards a fourth war.
