Opening up my eyes I found myself in a this strange and an unfamiliar environment to strange in fact the last I could recall is dosing off while trying to peel off an apple only for me to find myself in a complete unfamiliar environment.
To top it off it is in a weird looking forest which seems to have a dark hue to its environment. The forest trees and leaves are darker in color for some unknown reason almost everything in the forest as far as the eyes can see have a certain amount of black texture color to it. It is also kind of foggy. It feels so strange and alien with so many questions to be asked. The place itself gives out eerie and creepy vibes. "how weird".
I try to make sense of what was happing but nothing seems to make sense, then a strange thought came over me.
'have I been summoned or have transmigrate somehow to another world. No, I don't think so, there should be a logical explanation to this matter '.
He then paused for while then came to a conclusion that maybe he has been kidnapped.
'yeah, that might be the case but then who would want to kidnapped me and dump me in this weird looking forest. Aargh this is so annoying and confusing'.
He then calms himself down and thought of the entire situation for a while. What he was doing before he unconsciously passed out, what has been the cause and what was the reason for him being in this strange looking forest. He then came to a conclusion that this might be some kind of plot from the organization which he works in.
'I mean maybe the shadow department of the secret black oops are responsible for this, after all they have a weird way of doing things. Am pretty sure they are behind this but then this is the most unprecedented thing they have ever done so far'.
"well it doesn't matter; all I have to do is survive and pass the test it doesn't matter what they have in mind or plotted this time around. all I have do is beat them at their own game and pass".
He said with all conviction and determination.
"now what am supposed to do, what is it that they want us to do. I sure I am not the only one here there must be others within all I have to do is to get a hint on their location, then think of a plan to pass the test".
He said. In the next second shad heard a voice spoke to him.
"welcome Shad Darc of shadow and darkness. You have been chosen as the ninth chosen hero"
Shad immediately freaked out. Unable to process what he had just heard just now. Was he dreaming or is some kind of mind games by the shadow department? He couldn't tell.
"calm down and reason things through".
He said trying to calm himself down. He breathing in slowly and exhaling.
'now what was that voice i just heard just now. it feels so calm and peaceful'
He thought silently pondering on the strange voice he had just heard. The voice didn't just sound from inside his head but also from the outside that made him feel as if the world itself had just spoken to him.
The voice was serene and calm without any malicious intent or whatsoever it was so gentle as the morning breeze blowing on his face he couldn't discern if the voice was a male or a female voice. If someone should ask him, he would say both. Because it feels both like a gentleman and noble lady voice.
Thinking about the mysterious voice Shad was no longer sure if truly his secret organization were behind this.
'who knows maybe they have managed to create something new and special, and probably they are trying to test it out to see if it was a success. By the way they have been on some type of top-secret project that not even I know about. I wonder what it is really'.
Without any proper information or clue Shad could only hope to find the answer to his question once he is out of the forest.
"but how am supposed to get out this weird looking forest. why is the forest so damn hot"?
Shad mumbled to himself and sighed weakly.
Despite the foggy appearance and the dark texture of the forest one would expect it to be a little cold but instead it was the opposite. It was hot, though not too hot for Shad but still hot well above forty degrees.
The only thing he had with him was his dagger which he was using to peel his apple before the sudden incident.
After walking for hours aimlessly without knowing where he should go or where he is Shad came to an abrupt stop.
He heard a distant low growl from within the forest trees though not to loud which made him to suddenly stop moving.
"what was that just now" shad said.
After a two second pause he added.
"that sound like bear. perhaps a grizzly bear but what would a bear be doing in such a forest".
Shad ask but of course there was no one to answer him he was alone after all.
About ten seconds later he saw what looks like a bear even though there was a distance of about one hundred and fifty meters between them. he couldn't see the complete features of the animal but he was sure that it was a bear at least it looks like one.
Instinctively Shad held out his dagger. It was a fine black dagger made with special materials by his organization which he belongs to. Its materials composition is better than a steel it's not like he knows what kind of material it was made from all he knows is that it was harder and more durable than a steel.
When the bear was about seventy meters away Shad could now see the bear like creature clearly.
The reason why he couldn't see the bear feature clearly was because of the partial fog in the surroundings.
Now that he saw it clearly, he could only help but mutter a single word.
"what the f**k is that" Shad said looking lost and confuse.
The bear looked like a combination of a black rhino and a brown bear with darker fur.
Its body and face looked like that of a bear except for his legs which looks like that of a rhino own with a bear paw. It was so weird looking
Well there was another distinctive feature about it, it has the horn of a rhino at its forehead and a second one two centimetre.
The bear like creature was about five feet high with thick muscles and shining red eyes.
"just what the hell is this" he shook his trying to accept what he was seeing.
"where am I really"? he asked himself.
