If you had a second chance at life where would it be? I Guess it depends more on your past than this potential future. Because what's a second chance, but to do over the things you regret being unable to do.
Our story does not start on the mortal plain. In the vast cosmos there are beings that transcend both time and space. The infinite divinity had many facets, personalities, but especially laws. If not for the laws that govern the universe it could implode.
Within this realm are two beings that act as two sides of a coin, two divine souls existing parallel. The rule breaker and the tragically optimistic. He acted akin to Loki the trickster, if the guy was a pure sadist for chaos sake and his other half observed hoping that one day he would see the error on his tendencies.
In a tale as old as time, even amoung divinity do they stoop to mortal levels. The sadistic personality decide eons ago to plan a horrible life for a divine soul. The potent intervention this sadist caused shifted a burning soul into hyper drive. Awakening a god by force was the highest taboo among existence. He would come to regret it before the responsibility of a universe fell upon him.

[Human realm]
All his life, @#_&, looked up to super heroes, especially those with so much to lose. The self sacrifice was beautiful to him, something he felt as though was beyond his capability. In his formative years and so on, his selfless and naive self got beaten down by bad event after bad event.
His mother always did live by luck basied superstitions. It took the responsibility out of her hands and that mentality poisoned the boys mind. He could never accept that his failures were his own, despite not taking it out on others, he could not connect with them.
After ending up on his own their was one series that remained in his life. Above any comic or hero; Dragon ball. To skip a nostalgic inner monologue, he dreamed of doing the things in the series like a kid wanting copying the Kamehameha. That inner child kept him collecting untill his home was a tomb. A lonely existence.
Call it arrogance, he would call it proof of his cowardice, but @#$_ always felt like he was destined for more. Yeah, so does everyone else. So he kept helping people, superficially or out of genuine kindness.
There was an accident, what left did he have to lose. It was like his life was orchestra to cause the most suffering. He couldn't actually make that assumption, but the soul residing in him was special. It could feel the tampering of another god.
With the beeping of the machines in his hospital room setting an annoying rhythm to fuel the burning sensation. The spark between this divine soul and tamperer revealed the nature of this incident to him.
He had been the target of some god. To become a joke. His own superstition wanted to pull him back, but for once in his existence he refuses. His body is set a blaze in an ethereal warm hot flame that only burns the souls enemies.
This causes that rift that the divine realm predicted. The arrogant and sadistic soul was burnted up in a fraction of the time it took to set up this ordeal. The flames of a god can burn a god, it was the divines souls ability to transcend the gap in space and time that was impressive.
And now the god is awakening, then living half of the personality morns. It is now his responsibility to contain this new universe. To shape it in fitting order for this god.
The soul burned it's mortal coil and began the premature process of birthing a god. A universe is created naturally, however a dozen or so are currently coming into existence. Like the soul is attached to a concept. A rarity as this remaining personality observed.
The divine soul was obligated to shift it's existence as a sort of a cocoon for this new god. The length in which a god is born could take eons, and the creations that come about because of this birth are highly suseptible to change. These creations always reflect the divine entity that created them. Even past the burning the sole thing left behind was the strong memories of the mortals body. All that was left was the soul and it's memories playing it's passive role in forming a new god.
@#$_ was to be this new god and yet he had no active role in the process. The optimistic soul felt his other half mischievous nature wash over it one last time. So in defiance, in eternal memory of said other half, the remaining half plucked the consciousness and replaced it with the core being of the new universe being made.
What is @#$_'s favorite character in dragon ball?
The universe would not be a blank canvas for this god, instead he will return to the mortal coil in another universe.

They say that even the smallest things are connected on a grand scale. Clip a butterfly's wings, It could summon a hurricane in another place. So if a complete fictional story becomes reality.. every step is like treading new ground. You can't change who exist before you, but everything you do after will mean everything.
His eyes shot open right away. The soul had reawoken like nothing had ever happened. In one moment he was in some car accident, hearing the beeping of the machines by his bed size, and things went black "I fell asleep" he spoke inwardly.
Now that he was thinking clearer, opening his mouth and moving his arms, the soul realized he was infact in a body. Just not one he was familiar with yet. His mouth had a respirator connected by a tube.
It wasn't until the glass somebody walked past the glass that he got a good look at his reflection. To his utter shock...
