On a dark and cloudy night, high above the clouds the moon is calmly shinning its bright, luminescent glow over a vast village. This village is located in the Land of Fire of the Elemental Nations, it is called The Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha… located above Konoha in the backdrop of the night we bear witness to a vast mountain range with four magnificently sculpted faces of Konoha's honoured leaders, this mountain range is called the Hokage Monument, named in honour of every generation of the village's leadership from left to right.
In the heart of Konoha itself is a towner that is mighty in stature, this place houses the leader of the village itself, the Hokage, the guardian and protector of the village. As we gaze through the window of the building, we see an elderly man sitting behind a wooden desk… the man was easily in his late sixties with sagging skin and wrinkles adorning his face, he also wore a long red robe with a white sash around the waist, he was also wearing a long white haori over the robe, finally on his head he was wearing the iconic hat that signified his status as the Hokage of the village, the hat was mostly red with a white front and back, with it also having two white long cloths on each side of his face, finally the front of the hat adorning a red kanji for Fire on it.
This man was Hiruzen Sarutobi who was the Third Hokage of the Konohagakure no Sato, and he was currently dismissing a newly promoted Genin who possessed a special status within the village.
The Genin's name was Naruto Uzumaki, who was the unknown son of the late Fourth Hokage of Konoha who sacrificed himself to save the village, although no one besides a select few and Hiruzen himself knew of the boy's status, but that was only the first, he also is the third and current Jinchuriki of the Kyubi no Kitsune, one of the Nine Tailed Beasts, with it being the Strongest of the Tailed Beasts to be specific.
Naruto Uzumaki isn't liked in the village as he is the Jinchuriki and everyone besides Naruto and his generation knows of his status as Hiruzen imparted a law on Naruto's birth stating that Naruto and the new generation wouldn't know of his status as the Jinchuriki as the Yondaime's plan of the Village celebrating Naruto as a hero for protecting them from the Kyubi went down the drain as most of the village viewed Naruto as the Tailed Beast incarnate, the three whisker-like birth marks on his face did seem to make him seem so.
This led Naruto to being ostracised by the village and hated as they can't tell the difference between the two, and they even go as far as hurting the boy on his birthdays to vent their frustrations from the attack 12 years ago that took the Yondaime (Fourth Hokage) from the world and went even further as to affect his potential as a Shinobi by sabotaging his learning and eventually taking us to the current situation that had happened an hour ago.
A few hours ago, Naruto Uzumaki failed the Genin Graduation Exam and was tricked into stealing the Forbidden Scroll of Seals, a very dangerous and important object holding many dangerous and 'Forbidden' Jutsu and Techniques, which is guarded in the Hokage's Vault.
Naruto who after being tricked by his teacher Mizuki Ukikaze infiltrated the Hokage Tower in the dead of night, breaking into the Hokage Vault somehow (Which Hiruzen is still trying to figure out himself…), knocking out the Hokage with a dangerous Jutsu (Hiruzen himself will never speak of that incident for he would be ashamed of himself), transporting the Scroll to the location where Mizuki was waiting, learning a high A-Rank Jutsu (Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu), having his status revealed to him which Hiruzen was so going to cause pain to that traitor later for, and finally defeating the traitor with the Jutsu he learned from the scroll…
All that Hiruzen got from today was more paperwork, and a god damn headache. Though he was still happy that Iruka Umino, Naruto's other teacher, decided to pass him, and frankly he one of the people that Hiruzen likes personally as not only doesn't he hurt, sabotage, or do anything towards Naruto, but he is also a dedicated and loyal Shinobi of Konoha with a nice personality to be around.
Anyway Hiruzen after dismissing Naruto and telling him to go to his classroom tomorrow for graduation, he decided to head home for the day as he needed some time to relax… after a few minutes of walking he arrived at the Sarutobi Clan residence, he walked towards the entry area where he was greeted with respectful bows from his clan members who he kindly smiled towards and giving a few nods to those at the late hour and headed towards the Clan head residence…
After another minute of walking, he finally arrived at his home and made his way inside, he would have normally been greeted by his very excentric and very determined grandson Konohamaru Sarutobi, but it was late and Konohamaru would usually be in bed by now, so he didn't mind it a bit.
Afterwards he made a gesture into thin air, signalling to his personal ANBU guard to be dismissed, he then made his way to his living room to sit down and take a well-deserved relaxing break.
He came over and sat down in his favourite armchair near the fireplace, one that he would always find comfort in due to him and his wife sharing many happy memories together in this chair, seeing his eldest son as a newborn spending his time in his wife's arms, seeing his grandson being held by himself and his daughter in-law as well, etc… this chair will always be his favourite no matter what.
He smiled to himself at those memories, as they are one of the few things that he will always cherish… he calmly closed his eyes and started imagining and reliving those moments of his precious years, and he nearly shed a tear at the thought of his wife's face, he was so immersed that he unconsciously called her name:
"Biwako…" he murmured, but he was suddenly brought of his musings by a bell ringing in his ears.

Hiruzen with all his decades of combat and war experience instantly shot out of his chair, and opened his eyes, his body unconsciously shifted into a combat stance, ready for the supposed intruder waiting for him. Though to Hiruzen's surprise, he didn't see or sense anyone near him, he turned around, looked, up, down, everything, there was no one, but this didn't mean that he would relax as he has experienced situations like these in the past, and he got his answer in front of him.

When Hiruzen saw these floating 'messages', he was extremely surprised and shocked at the same time as he has never seen this phenomenon before, but his mind worked overtime and quickly came to the most logical conclusion he could now, Genjutsu.
He flared his Chakra, and disrupted his Chakra network to dispel the 'Genjutsu', but to his surprise and shock, the messages did not disappear, or even flicker under the weight of his Chakra… but he didn't stay shocked for long as he decided to expel all of his Chakra in one go… luckily he decided to put a bunch of different Seals on his home, otherwise, every Shinobi in the village would be sent into a panic at why their Hokage was flaring his Chakra to the maximum… he instantly broke out with all of his Chakra to dispel the 'Genjutsu' that was on him, but to his horror the messages once again didn't even flicker under the weight of his Chakra…
Hiruzen was stunned for a moment… why won't these messages go away? Also, who would be strong enough to cast such a 'Genjutsu' on him in the first place, he was a very strong Kage-level Shinobi, he was trained by the First and Second Hokage, the Senju Brothers!
He was the God damn God of Shinobi for crying out loud!
Even if he is over sixty years of age, that shouldn't affect him much besides his physical condition, but even then, it shouldn't be to the point where he can't dispel such an illusion… who could be strong enough to put him under such an illusion in the first place?
Itachi Uchiha has left the village under the alias of a Missing Ninja due to certain situations, and has joined the Akatsuki, an unknown organisation with unknown intentions, but all the members of the group are supposedly S-Rank Shinobi of varying levels.
It couldn't have been Itachi though, as while he was a prodigy of the Uchiha Clan, he loved the village and was extremely loyal to Konoha as even now he is serving the village by being a double agent, but even if Itachi were to put himself under an illusion he would be able to break out of the Genjutsu easily, as while Itachi is a Kage level threat, he wouldn't be that dangerous to Hiruzen unless he used the Mangekyo Sharingan, but Hiruzen doesn't even know if he possesses those dangerous eyes in the first place… but he shook his head and kept thinking, as while he was having these thoughts he was still paying attention to his surroundings as that was the mistake every Shinobi has made in these situations and Hiruzen had it beaten out of him in his Genin days by his master.
No time though for reminiscing, as he heard the bell again.

When Hiruzen looked up again he saw the floating messages again, and stared long and hard at them, trying to figure them out… also what did it mean by host? Does it mean this thing is attached to him!?
While Hiruzen was mentally worried the System continued.
[Ding! The Template System is an existence that is bestowed upon those who are worthy and meet specific requirements for activating them. In short you have been chosen to wield it!]

When it finished speaking there was a large amount of information in front of Hiruzen that appeared out of nowhere. Hiruzen is starting to now feel that this isn't just some illusion, as there is no way someone would put such a strong illusion on him just for jokes, especially with what is being shown to him in the first place.
He decided that since he hasn't been attacked at all during this period and he has a 'Tutorial' in front of him, he would just sit down so that he at least is comfortable in this situation. He walked over to his armchair again and noticed that the messages seemed to follow him, which was nice for him as he rather not move his armchair as it's in the perfect place for him… after sitting down again, he looked at the messages again and started reading.
[Tutorial!]

Finished the System, and Hiruzen was so shocked from this information that he nearly had a heart attack from it, and his mind went into overdrive thinking of the possibilities of what this entails:
'IS THIS THING FOR REAL!? I COULD GAIN ABILITIES FROM SOMEONE ELSE THAT IS MORE POWERFUL THAN ME!? WHO, HASHIRAMA-SAMA OR UCHIHA MADARA??!! HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE!!?! THIS HAS TO BE A TRICK AS THERE IS NO WAY THIS IS REAL, WHO HAS THE GAUL TO PRANK ME, HIRUZEN SARUTOBI, THE PROFESSOR AND THE GOD OF SHINOBI WITH SUCH A THING!?!?' mentally ranted Hiruzen, and he needed to breath for a few seconds as this is something that he and no one in the Elemental Nations have ever experienced before.
After a couple of seconds of calming down he stared up at the messages, and just like before they were still there, floating and waiting for his answer… Hiruzen stared at them for a while and started thinking again more calmly:
'Is this truly real? These 'messages' haven't disappeared and there is an option for declining the 'draw' or whatever… should I take the gamble? If it is real, I could become much stronger than I already was… if I have more strength, I will be able to protect the village longer, even if I am still aging…' as Hiruzen was mulling it over as he finally relaxed as he has been sitting and waiting for over ten minutes now and no one has attacked him, and it seems that this 'System' isn't trying to cause him harm so he is finally at peace and has now complete focus on these messages from the System… finally he came to a decision:
'You know what! I will do it, there is nothing I have to lose anyway… and it seems that this only benefits me, but I will still keep an eye on this 'System' just in case it does something, but for now let's give it a shot…' as Hiruzen made his resolve, he moved his finger over to the messages, he came to the [Yes] button and decided to click it.

Then the System sounded.

Finished the System, and when Hiruzen saw the name of the Character, he didn't react much as he doesn't know who this is, he thought it would be someone at the very least he would have heard about (A.N. Keep in mind that no one in the Shinobi world knows what the Multiverse is), but he certainly sounds powerful to Hiruzen as he apparently was the commander of an organisation that… dealt with souls?
Hiruzen is a bit confused but he didn't think on it much as they in Konoha have techniques that dabble with the soul, but he personally doesn't use or even think about learning them as they are dangerous and unethical, even by Shinobi standards as they play dirty to win… afterwards he saw the messages disappear and for a second Hiruzen felt like he got tricked until, he saw the System appear again and this time differently.

When Hiruzen saw the System again he was a bit surprised as he didn't expect it to undergo a change like this and started to look, but the more he looked the more he was dissatisfied, and started to think to himself with a frown:
'Didn't this thing say I was going to gain Yamamoto's memories and abilities? … what's going on here... do I need to press 'Accept' for it to work?' thought Hiruzen, and looked at the 'Accept' button on the top and once again and moved his finger over and clicked 'Accept'.
