I feel lost walking through these halls.
Like I'm walking around in a circle making myself dizzy and confused.
"I-I wish I kn-knew where I w-was g-g-going," I say trying to collect my words again.
I can feel my feet getting tired and my mind going crazy with wonder hoping I can find my way out of this labyrinth.
I suddenly heard footsteps coming towards me, I didn't know if I should run or ask for help but I had this strange feeling telling me to run and hide like I was being controlled by this feeling.
I hear them coming closer and I can feel myself running and finally seeing a regular door.
I ran towards it hoping it wasn't locked.
*click*
It was unlocked but before I could get too excited I heard those footsteps again.
I walked through the door blinded by a light in a sky that was red.
As my eyes adjusted to the light I noticed that the ground was cracked and dry with black like roots sticking out.
"W-where am I?" I say.
I looked at my hands and started questioning myself feeling that emotion I felt when I had to run away.
Who am I?
Where did I come from?
What is this place?
WHAT IS THIS FEELING THAT I'M FEELING?
As these thoughts and questions ring in my head I start to feel my heart beat faster and my breath getting heavier.
I grip the pen that is still in my hand hoping that it will give me comfort and relief but before I can collect myself.
I felt a hand touch my shoulder.
As if by instinct I swung my body and arm with the pen in my hand slashing the person's face before falling onto the ground.
"D-DON'T COME CLOSE TO ME" I shouted keeping my pen pointing at them like it was a....weapon.
" I guess you did awaken," said the stranger who was tall and gray and had teeth like a...shark.
"Sorry for scaring you but once we got the alarm that the artifact door had been opened by an unknown person."
"I just had to change that part of the castle into a labyrinth for his highness's safety, I hope you weren't frightened," he says while holding out his hand.
I was hesitant at first feeling "frightened" as he put it, but I cautiously lowered my hand with the pen and took his hand as he helped me up.
"You weren't supposed to find this door as I made sure to tuck it away with the others, so how exactly did you find it, my dear?" he asked.
"I just-" but before I could finish I felt my eyes getting heavy and my head getting dizzy confused about what happening to me and before I could fall to the ground I felt the stranger's hands catch me"
"And here I was hoping we could talk a little longer but I guess his highness's patience was running thin and feeling fear for the first time can have a toll on one's body"
