Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Beixuan’s Second Journey to the Douluo Continent

Beixuan realized that the place Beiluo was sending him to was most likely the Douluo Continent, a world where martial souls manifested as power.

Although the power system there wasn't particularly high, it allowed completely opposing attributes to coexist within the same body. In fact, this unique trait was advantageous, as it increased the likelihood of awakening twin martial souls.

A titled Douluo named Dugu Bo once found a document in the Spirit Hall, stating that there were two conditions for the birth of twin martial souls.

The first condition was that the quality of the parents' martial souls should not differ too greatly. This wasn't a problem for Beixuan—whether it was Bixie or Yanmei, both were among the strongest demonic spirits. One specialized in the physical body, while the other focused on the spirit, with Bixie being slightly stronger. However, its strength wasn't overwhelmingly superior to Yanmei's.

The second condition was that the nature of the parents' martial souls should be significantly different, with greater differences leading to a higher chance of twin martial souls.

In other words, two unrelated martial souls of the same level had a better chance of producing a twin martial soul.

For example, Tang San possessed the Haotian Hammer, a symbol of raw strength, and the Blue Silver Emperor, which embodied gentleness.

On the other hand, Bibi Dong had twin spider-type martial souls with the same attributes, yet she still managed to awaken twin martial souls. This could only be attributed to her exceptional talent.

Beixuan's situation, however, was more similar to that of Ye Xishui, the Death God Douluo. Ye Xishui also had twin martial souls, and hers were completely opposite—the Blood Soul Demon Puppet, representing ultimate darkness and evil, and the Light Phoenix, embodying ultimate brightness and goodness. These two opposing forces coexisted in perfect harmony, forming her twin martial souls.

Beixuan speculated that if he arrived in the Douluo Continent and his bloodline power transformed into martial soul power, he might experience the same outcome as Ye Xishui. Even if he was unlucky and failed to awaken twin martial souls, he would at least retain a stronger Bixie martial soul. Without the constraints of Yanmei, he could finally grow up healthy and normal, just like an ordinary person.

"Beiluo, I know about that continent," Yun Wuyue said with concern. "But their cultivation method requires absorbing the energy and bones of other beasts. If Xuan'er becomes a god in that world and transforms martial soul power back into bloodline power, won't his bloodline be affected?"

To her, the cultivation method of that world seemed primitive.

Beiluo smiled slightly. "Don't worry, Wuyue. Even if he cultivates that way, his bloodline won't be affected."

How could he not be aware of Yun Wuyue's concerns? But there was no need to worry about this matter. Beixuan would understand once he arrived in that world.

Beiluo turned to Beixuan and said, "Xuan'er, I know you can understand what your mother and I are saying. Even though your body cannot grow, your mind isn't affected. If I remember correctly, you should be ten years old by now."

"Listen to your father. When you arrive in that world, whether you choose to be good or evil is up to you. But remember this—no matter what kind of person you become, you must have a bottom line. If you push things too far, fate will inevitably turn against you."

Beixuan listened quietly. Perhaps it was due to their blood connection, or maybe it was because he was a transmigrator and already had some understanding of Beiluo, but even though Beiluo's words were somewhat vague, he could grasp their true meaning clearly.

Beiluo was telling him: It's okay to be a villain, but don't indiscriminately slaughter the innocent, or the heavens will not tolerate you.

At the same time, being kind is also fine, but don't be a naive saint, always sacrificing yourself for others. After all, whether you want to achieve your goals or protect the people important to you, the prerequisite is that you must first survive.

Beixuan nodded gently at Beiluo.

Beiluo smiled. "Good. Before you leave, I have one last gift for you."

As he spoke, he placed his index finger lightly on Beixuan's forehead, imprinting a sword seal along with a stream of mystical text into his mind.

Then, he handed Beixuan over to Yun Wuyue. "Wuyue, do you have anything else to say to Xuan'er?"

Holding her child, Yun Wuyue gently kissed his forehead. "I don't have much to say. My child, your mother will be waiting here for your return."

Although Beixuan wasn't born from Yun Wuyue's womb, they were still connected by bloodline, and he could feel her genuine love, no different from that of a real mother.

"Alright then, it's time for Xuan'er to set off." Beiluo had always been decisive in his actions. Once he made up his mind, he wasted no time.

Beiluo transformed into his true Bixie form, his overwhelming aura causing countless creatures within Tianlu City and the surrounding Guangming Plains to tremble in awe.

He then swiped his arm across the void, instantly tearing open a dimensional rift, and sent Beixuan through.

This wasn't the first time Beiluo had done this—he had already calculated the coordinates of the Douluo Continent, making this second attempt effortless.

"Xuan'er, remember—once you arrive, find your Uncle Yulin and Uncle Lanxiang as soon as possible. They will protect and guide you," Beiluo called out.

At that moment, in the Divine Realm of the Douluo Continent, the five God Kings, including the Asura God, suddenly sensed their world's barrier being breached again.

Again?

The reason they said "again" was that this had already happened fifty years ago.

The first time, they couldn't react in time, and the intruder left after repairing the spatial rift.

But now, someone dared to break in a second time?!

Were these outsiders treating them like pushovers? Tearing through their world's barrier again and again—just what were they trying to do?

Furious, the five God Kings launched their combined attack, sending five powerful forces toward the rift.

Beiluo, unwilling to let anything interfere with Beixuan's baptism by the laws of the new world, let out a cold snort.

Boom!

The sheer power in his snort instantly shattered the five God Kings' combined attack. Then, his Bixie King aura spread, suppressing all gods in the Divine Realm, rendering them completely motionless.

Several hours later, after Beixuan had completed his baptism and was officially accepted as a lifeform by the Douluo Continent, Beiluo finally lifted the suppression.

The gods of the Divine Realm heaved sighs of relief.

What kind of terrifying power was that?!

That being didn't even harm them—just his presence alone had been enough to suppress their entire realm.

And yet, he didn't seem hostile, since he even repaired their world's barrier before leaving.

In truth, Beiluo had only done this to prevent them from detecting Beixuan's identity as a transmigrator and treating him as an enemy.

"Strange," Beiluo muttered.

"What's wrong, Beiluo? Was something off with Xuan'er's journey?" Yun Wuyue asked.

Beiluo shook his head. "No, it went smoothly… but besides Xuan'er, I sensed another soul entering that world. And this one carries great destiny…"

"And?"

"…And I think I might have accidentally set them up a little. But it was probably… maybe… not intentional…"

Under Yun Wuyue's skeptical gaze, Beiluo awkwardly slipped back into his palace.

Meanwhile, in the Douluo Continent, an elderly man discovered an abandoned infant at the entrance of a small village.

"Another poor child abandoned by irresponsible parents…" he sighed, picking up the baby.

Inside, Beixuan protested, "My parents had their reasons! But… thank you for saving me, Grandpa. I swear, I will repay you a thousandfold in this life!"
