Watching the kids running toward the convenience store, i take my cigarette from my pocket and lit it. I'm not a smoker in my previous life, but for some reason i want to smoke. Is this also the habit of this body?

Dr.Agasa already know my name, but at that time, Haibara Ai is not in her good condition. So i decided to introduced myself again. I also don't know if Dr.Agasa told her about my name or not, so it's natural to introduced myself again. And also with this, she naturally Will tell her name. I already know her name, but she never told me her name, so if i suddenly call her by her name, it'll be weird and suspicious.
"Haibara Ai."
"Ai-chan, huh. Nice to meet you." I said. "But what are you doing in the middle of rain without an umbrella at that time? You are also wearing an outfit that's too big for your size. That outfit is for adults right? And it seems like a scientist's outfit at that."

Haibara Ai seems to think about what excuses can she use that make sense, didn't say anything for a while. I also didn't pressure her to answer immediately, instead i just quite and waiting for her answer. I also curious what excuses that'll she use to answer my question.

Even Though she became a child, which nobody would believe about it, she still needs to be careful. So getting asked like this definitely makes her uncomfortable.
"Hahaha, you sure are sassy, Ai-chan. Did something nice happen to you, or something?" I said while scratching my hair. "Well, if I make you uncomfortable, I apologize. Though it's not my intention to interrogate you or something. I'm just curious about what happened to you that day."
This also the other habit that i just found out. Sometimes i said something like that. The 'You sure are sassy' or 'You guys sure full of energy' and then 'Did something nice happen to you, or something?' something like that. Well, it's not like i don't like it, but since this happen suddenly, it just still feels weird. Probably it'll become 'my' actually habit if i keep going like this.
"Well, change of topic, why are you guys doing here? It looks like you guys searching for something."
"Our classmate's brother gone missing. So we help him to search his brother." She said with her hand on her back.
Looking at her like this in real life, she's indeed cute. Eventhough i'm not watch the series that much, i already Saw her in some clip while scrolling on YouTube. Forget to mention it, but when i Pat her hair earlier, it feel soft and nice. Well, let's stop here.
"Then why don't you just let police handle the case?"
"His family already call the police, but there's no progress at all."
"I see. But why bunch of kids Like you taking the case? Isn't it dangerous?"
"Those guys are group called Detective Boys, and seems like they take request from their classmate. Since i just transferred to their school, i don't know much though."
"Hmmmm."
Poofing the smoke from my cigarette, I stop the conversation. Then i Saw Conan running chasing a man with black outfit. I don't really remember the plot, but I'm sure he's the bad guy for this plot. And if i'm not mistaken, he also has some companions who work with him. And this case is about fake bills, right?
'Lets go to the convenience store first.'
Haibara Ai decided to follow Conan and the others, so she's not with me right now.
"Excuse me, sir. Can I take a look at the money which that guy with black outfit gave you?"
When the cashier give me the money, i checked it and it is indeed a fake money. I told the cashier about it and he decided to call the police. But since the guy use hat to cover his face, it'll take time to catch that guy normally. But well, this should be enough. If Conan and the others tell the police nearby, they would take action since there's already a report about it from the police station.
If not, then i guess i should be the one who talks to the police, since if kids saying something about fake money, the police will probably just gonna take it as a joke and ignore it.
