I've always wanted to travel to South Korea the place always fascinated me.The food,the sites,the way they greet and especially their language.Finally I'm able to go,I've been accepted into the South Korean exchange school(skse).One can feel joy but what I feel right now is a felling I've never felt and never though to feel.
The Korean academic curriculum is way different from the American curriculum,so I will study my hardest if it means I leave my dream.
This will be the first in 8 years to leave the house,the last time I went out was before my step dad got together with my mom.My mom could have many reasons why she was excited for me to leave but it doesn't matter,because I'm living my fucking dream baby!!
Koreas medical schools are known for having an exccptance rate of 0.01 % to 0.015% .
My mom always told me I would never get accepted into such a prestigious school,I guess I've proven her wrong.I'll meet friends,live in a school dorm with girls and party.

The day before I left my stepdad came into my room in shock I reply as quick as possible"What do you want?" for a moment there was utter silence in the air,before a mischievous grin appears on his face sending chills down my spine.He places his cold and rough hand upon my thigh and grabs me by the neck I kick him in the balls and watch as he falls down the stairs effortlessly.staring deep into my eyes with pure rage he manages to stand up,but doesn't come to me instead leaves my room giving me one last glare.I flop on my bed as tears roll from my eyes onto my cheek.'Why?'My mind can't get rid of one lousy question,and it agitates me.Later that day my mom footsteps echo throughout the house hearing her heels banging against the plain tiles
