Chapter 1 - Prologue

The world was blurred, shrouded in a veil of shifting smoke. Shadows twisted in the dim light, obscuring the figures in front. Their voices were faint, barely piercing through the haze, yet the weight of their words pressed against the unseen walls of existence itself.

"There is no way that they will let the baby survive. If they discover the truth, it will all be over," the man's voice trembled, burdened with sorrow and helplessness. "We've already fallen to a lower world… we can't let our child suffer the same fate."

A woman cradled the baby in her arms, her fingers gently brushing against its tiny face. "Mother loves you," she whispered, her tears falling like silent prayers for the child's survival. Her grip tightened as though she could shield the child from the storm that loomed over them.

The man stepped closer, his hands trembling as he took the baby into his grasp. His gaze hardened with determination. "Survive," he uttered, a single word carrying the weight of an unbreakable will. The air around them trembled, the very fabric of the world shifting in response to his command.

"Seal!" he roared, his voice thundering like a command from the heavens.

The vision blurred. The scene shifted.

Now, an aerial view of a small village hidden in a dense forest came into sight. Above, the sky was dyed in black and gold, a storm of energy swirling ominously. At the heart of it all stood the same man and woman, their bodies marred with injuries as they fought desperately, their backs to the village as if shielding it from the horror that bore down upon them.

Surrounding them, thousands of figures loomed in the night sky—an overwhelming force. Among them, a group of a hundred elites hovered closer, their power amplified by the energy streaming from the massive army behind them. Leading these elites were two figures cloaked in burning gold and black auras, their energy crackling with terrifying intensity.

Slowly, two monstrous forms began to take shape from the gathered power. Golden flames coiled into the form of a valiant dragon, while black energy solidified into a ferocious counterpart. The two colossal beasts expanded, their sheer size swallowing the sky itself, their scales gleaming with an unnatural radiance that sent tremors through the heavens.

The elites positioned themselves along the dragons' tails, claws, chests, and wings, while the two leaders stood within the heads of their respective beasts. Their expressions were unreadable, yet their presence alone exuded authority, as if their very existence commanded the laws of the world.

Two colossi, forged from the power of countless warriors, towered over the lone couple. But the husband and wife did not falter. Their eyes held neither fear nor despair—only defiance. Their auras burned, one radiating celestial brilliance, the other an abyssal darkness.

"Suppress!" they commanded in unison, their arms raised, palms wide open.

Instantly, the energy radiating from the dragons weakened, their overwhelming force cut in half. The sky wavered as if uncertain, caught between two opposing wills.

"Give all your energy to us! You will be rewarded handsomely if we are able to capture them," the leaders within the dragons' heads bellowed. Their voices rang across the battlefield, and the power of the gathered army surged toward them in waves, intertwining with the colossal beasts.

"Divine Dragon of Judgment!" roared the golden dragon's leader, his voice shaking the very essence of the world.

"Demonic Dragon of Purgatory!" bellowed the black dragon's leader, his words carrying an unnatural weight, as though spoken by fate itself.

"Roar", both of them shouted in unison. A deafening roar tore through the air as the dragons opened their mouths, releasing twin beams of destruction. A torrent of black and gold, larger than a city, streaked across the sky, swallowing everything in its path.

The heavens split apart, the ground ruptured into deep canyons, and rivers of molten lava boiled under the pressure of the attacks. The beams hurtled toward the couple, who looked like mere ants before their overwhelming power.

"Light God's Shield!"

"Dark Lord's Shield!"

Two spheres, one of blinding gold and the other of abyssal black, encased the husband and wife. Their divine and demonic energies clashed against the oncoming devastation, forming an equilibrium that trembled under the sheer might of the forces at play.

The beams slammed into the shields.

"Boom!" The world was consumed by a blinding explosion.

The sky itself seemed to crack, reality distorting as shockwaves rippled outward. The battlefield became a storm of chaos, energy ravaging everything within its reach. The light was suffocating, the darkness even more so. The moment stretched, eternity contained within a single breath.

Then, silence.

Gasping breaths tore through the silence.

A young one jolted awake, drenched in sweat. Breath came in shallow gasps, and a dry sensation clung to the throat, as if desert sand had been swallowed. Trembling hands clutched at the sheets, seeking something solid, something real. Muscles ached as though they had endured a battle that existed only in another realm.

"Gulp!" A hard swallow forced down the dryness, an effort to regain composure. The hammering of the heart echoed in the ears, deafening in the stillness of the night.

The room was silent, moonlight seeping through a cracked window. Shadows flickered across the walls, stretching and shifting with the dim glow. Each breath slowed, but the weight of the dream remained, pressing down like an unseen force. Every detail lingered—too vivid, too raw to be dismissed as mere imagination.

The contrast between reality and what had just transpired left an unsettling void, an eerie quiet after the chaos of war.

The mind raced.

'Was she speaking to me? Were those words meant for me? Who were they? How could they wield such unimaginable power?'

More than questions, there was a lingering sensation—a resonance deep within, as though something long forgotten had stirred awake. The raw power that had unfolded in the dream, the sheer defiance in the face of insurmountable odds—it all felt… real.

Fingers hesitated before pressing against the chest, half-expecting an unseen force to surge forth, some kind of proof of what had been witnessed. But there was nothing—no warmth, no glow, no sign that anything had changed. And yet, deep inside, something was different.

A shiver crawled down the spine. It was not just a dream. The images refused to fade, burned into memory like an unspoken truth waiting to be unraveled.

The world may not have changed, but something had awakened.

Somehow, the young one knew—

This was only the beginning.
