Never for once in my life did I imagine that I'd cross paths with someone like him, let alone give in myself. My life was the kind you'd call a fairy tale. the typed that seemed too good to be true, we however never know what fate has installed for us; and indeed it came with a twist. there he was, everything far from perfection, wallowing in his darkness and blues. Harry.
I was raised by Pa alone. Ma died while having me and pa and I have lived by ourselves since then. Pa never lets me forget that i am his greatest treasure, he said that at the time of my birth, after receiving the news of his wife's passing, he was shattered and dejected. when the doctor announced that his daughter had survived, he wasn't comforted- he was mad at his loss. but when he went to see his baby-me-the moment he held me in his arms, his heart fluttered. instantly, rays of sunlight streamed through the windowpane. in that moment, he felt a different kind of love, one he had never known before. a renewed sense of hope filled him, and he discovered a profound meaning in life. that was the most magical moment of his entire existence. He called me Ray. Pa did his best in raising me, and i did my best to meet his expectations, though he doesn't expect much from me. Pa was the president of ever care hospital, although he was always busy he made sure i had the presence of a parent in my life, we were really close, i told him everything and he was always there for me. and then there was josh, he was a poor boy across the street, he once saved me from a street dog and as reward; pa offered him a job as the gardener. He started coming around from time to time and we soon became good friends. josh won pa's trust and pa liked him very much. i didn't know many family members except my aunt Celine, pa's sister and her children Louis and Hayley. They usually spent the summer with us at Maryland, Josh and Louis never got along, since we were kids, for what ever reason they had. I was raised by Matt, he was more like a none medical assistant to Pa, who wouldn't let any woman near him since my Ma left. Surprisingly Matt knew more than he should have about feminism. And lastly was Anne, she was my best friend from school, I like to think of us as the same kind of people at different environments. That was what my little perfect life revolves around. They were what made me who I was, they were family.
