Our village lies on the edge of the forest, where myths and legends live. My name is Zealine Andrew Garfield. I live in this village with my uncle's family after the death of my parents one month ago.
However, instead of a sense of comfort, it's sadness and loneliness. How could I not, my aunt treated me like a servant in their house. In fact, after the death of my parents, they can live better. Zealine covered her face when she saw Serafine again wanting to slap her face. However, all of a sudden, the loud snapping of a male voice stopped her. That was not the only thing. Serafine and everyone else there looked terrified as they saw the anger of the handsome-faced man who was staring at her sharply.
"Keep your filthy hands away from her! Or, I'll break both of your hands so that you can no longer hurt others you damn girl!"
"J-julian...'
"You bitch! How dare you hurt her. Are you tired of living?" Said the man called Julian by Serafine whose face was red with tears. Meanwhile, his three friends chose to stay away from him.
"Julian. I-I just wanted to teach her a lesson because she didn't do the assignment I asked her to do. She…'
"Is she your maid? Don't you think I don't know who this girl is. Or, should I just tell everyone here about who she is and who you really are?" Julian replied sarcastically without looking at Serafine and making the girl feel humiliated.
"J-julian...'
"Please don't scold her. Serafine is not guilty. I am the one who is guilty of not doing what is asked. I-I..."
"You don't have to do her chores anymore, Zealine. It's not your job anymore," said Julian who turned soft when answering Zealine's words to make everyone surprised again.
"But, why? If I don't do it, I'll be in big trouble. I-I'm afraid that uncle and auntie will too..."
"Then I'll kill both of them right away. Including this bitch of course. Don't they deserve everything after what they've done to you so far, Zea," Julian replied, glancing sharply at the frightened Serafine.
'I-I...'
"You don't need to be afraid. I will always protect you from those who have evil intentions towards you. Once I see you get hurt, then, I will kill them immediately," said Julian which made everyone shudder in horror.
"Thank you for everything. Maybe you can help me on campus, but, at home, they will..."
Zea clearly saw how the man pulled Serafine's arm roughly. Staring at her so fiercely that her cousin turned her face away because she didn't dare to look at the man's face that looked alarming.
Meanwhile, the one man who was with Julian just laughed at Serafine's fear.
"Tell your parents not to hurting Zealine anymore. If you and your parents dare to harm her-then-I-Julian Draxler-will instantly wipe you all off the face of this earth. Understood!" Julian said in reply to Serafine's head nodding who was already crying in fear. 'Now, get out of my way!' Julian continued to push Serafine roughly until the girl fell down and was laughed at by everyone who was there.
"Serafine... gosh, are you okay? Let me..."
"Don't you dare help her, Zealine. She deserved all that," Julian said coldly.
"But, she's my cousin, Julian. She's in pain. I-I..
"No! You're not my cousin! You're just a maid in my house! I hate you, Zealine!" Serafine shouted as she walked away, embarrassed and angry that her secret was out in front of everyone.
"You saw for yourself, Zealine. She never recognised you as her sister. She's disgusting. Never mind, we'd better get to class. The lecture will start soon," Julian said softly.
"But, why did you help me? All this time, I've never seen you on this campus. Who are you really?" Zealine asked Julian who immediately approached her. Zealine felt uncomfortable when their faces were close together. Moreover, she felt Julian sniffing the hair covering her neck. "What are you doing? Staying away from me," she continued uncomfortably.
"You're so adorable, Zealine. But, I like it. Stay like this and don't change," Julian said smiling at her.
"L-let's get to class. Didn't you say the lecture will start soon?" She said choosing to pass from Julian's presence with a feeling of embarrassment.
Julian stared at Zealine's departure with a happy feeling. He was very happy. After all this time, he finally found his soulmate. But, there was a feeling of guilt for not being able to protect Zealine for a long time. As an Alpha, he was assigned by his father to attend the inauguration of Adler Ferguson who was the new Alpha in Black Moon pack so he could not go to campus for a long time.
"Sam, keep an eye on the Garfield Family. If they still dare to hurt my "mate", then, I will kill them all on the spot," Julian ordered his Beta.
"Okay, Alpha. I'll station some warriors to protect the future Luna Red Moon pack," Beta Sam replied.
'I will never forgive myself if anything happens to my mate,' Julian said looking at Zealine's shadow disappearing in the classroom cubicle.

Synopsis
