New room, new enemy
Jay-jay's POV
TRASH! Trash everywhere. Trash here trash there. The entire gymnasium is a pile of trash . "What is this?!" I said annoyed. I looked at the Ulopong who were kicking trash away from them. Edrix and I approached them. "Jay-jay!" Ci-N greeted happily while waving. "Why is it like this here?" I asked her. She shook her head. "I don't know. It was like this when we got here." Why do I feel like this was intentional? It's disgusting to stay here, plus the smell is a bit foul. "We can't be here!" Drew said annoyed. He agreed with him. Who can stay like this? "Section E." Someone called us. When we turned to the entrance, Sir, who was surprised by what he saw, greeted us. He was carrying his bag and lesson plan. We each got closer to him. "Sir! We can't have class here!" I said. "Yes, Sir!" Kit agreed. The heads were complaining one by one until I felt someone grab my arm. I turned around and saw Yuri. He pulled me slightly away from the Snakes. "W-why?" I asked him. "I went to see you but you left. Why didn't you wait for me?" There was a trace of sadness in his eyes. I scratched the back of my head. "Because I went with Aries." I smiled at him when I remembered what I should have told him. "...we're okay! Congratulations !" He smiled back. "Really?! Congrats!" The sadness in his eyes still hadn't disappeared. It was as if he was carrying some problem that he didn't want to reveal to me. "Are you okay? You seem so sad." He shook his head. "I was just worried earlier." I frowned at his answer. Worried? But where? "Why would you worry? I'm going to school anyway." He quickly looked away. "Y-because it's Sato's." But that didn't seem to be the real reason. I just chose to shrug . "Is that it? It's like you don't know me. I can handle myself." I replied with a smile and slapped him on the arm. What's the problem with that? I looked back at the Ulopongs who were talking to Sir. We can't just have class like this. I felt like their conversation would never end . "Just clean the gymnasium. That's the only way we can stay here and have another teacher teach you." Sir explained. "Sir! It's already a nuisance that they're making us leave the room, and this one too?!" Eren said angrily. Others agreed with him but some agreed with what Sir said. And of course, there were also those who were just really making a fuss. "Let's just have the other room blown up so they can be with us here too !" The suggestion of course from the most rebellious of all. Really, Ci-N, no matter what!! "That's ï¬ne, continue being stupid." Josh said sarcastically . The Young Kumag immediately looked at him with a frown. "If you're so smart , what should we do here?!" "If you're so smart, why do you need to ask me that? Why didn't you answer?" The other one returned. "Keep going. Keep ï¬ghting. That's a big help." Blaster shouted. "Fight oh! Fight oh!" Everyone's attention shifted to the two little guys who were ï¬ghting over intelligence. It's embarrassing for their brains. I just slapped my own face. I almost punched myself because I was trying to eat them. I was stressed! Today should be a happy day. "That's enough! What we need now is to help each other." Sir Alvin said, stepping between them. Ci-N turned her back on him. I thought she was really getting weaned but she suddenly started singing. "What do you need? Help each other! What do you need? Help each other!" She sang and we all looked at her. "...wonder pets! Wonder pets! We're here!" This time I wasn't the only one who got a face palm. Even Sir and the Ulopongs reacted the same way. His age was really taking a backseat. "I'll pretend that I didn't hear that." David said and approached Sir. "...Where's the cleaning supplies?" "In the storage room where the other supplies are." Sir replied, pointing to the door at the far end. He walked there after Eman, Denzel, Ci-N, Felix, Kit and Josh. The others didn't want to follow, but instead pushed each other. I followed too. We each got our own broom, dustpan, map and garbage bag. We also had our own place to live. There's a lot of trash that the Pest creaturesâ€"these studentsâ€"eat at this school. Even the bleachers in the corner of the gymnasium are messy. Isn't it embarrassing for them. They've already kicked us out of the room and then they're going to open us up like this. They're so kind, I wish Lowd would take them. "Jay-jay!" Ci-N shouted but I didn't look at her. I already had a hunch what she was doing. "Look at me! Hurry!" She shouted again. I sighed. She really wasn't running out of nonsense. "Hurry up! Look at me!" Oh my gosh!!! I sighed loudly before I could ask her. And what if ! Oh my gosh!! "Aren't I beautiful!" She said softly while still waving. She put on the garbage bag and turned it into a dress. She also tied a knot on her head that looked like a headband. She looked like she was doing something. She was still twirling around as if she had a fancy dress. "Oh, a crazy person got in here!" Felix shouted after laughing. "Tse! You're just jealous of my beauty!" Ci-N's sly reply. "Oh! Give in!" Calix teased. "That's the effect of the smell of the garbage!" Kit's gasp. Maybe!! The intensity of the stench had cooked her brain. They laughed one after another. I laughed too. Meanwhile, the little Kumag, agreed! The model was even better at the ramp. He even managed to get closer to David. "Hi David." He greeted her with a twinkle in his eye. David winced at her appearance. "What are you? A trash person?" "No." He spun around, raising his hand and stopping. "I'm a beautiful princess!" He said sarcastically. Oh my, that's it! David's eyebrows quickly crossed and he slapped her on the orehead with all his might. The little Kumag immediately protested, holding her forehead while crying. "You're wasting the garbage bags. Can't you see? We have a lot to clean and here you are playing around." Ci immediately looked at him with a bad look but that also disappeared and was replaced by a sweet smile. She hugged David's arm and scratched her face like a cat. "You're too hot, David. Just chill. Let me give you a kiss, you want?" He pouted at her. Okay! Koya gave in. He tried to push her away but Batang Kumag was like a leech that could grab her. We laughed out loud but not the others. "Stop it Ci-N! You're disgusting!" Drew said annoyed and we looked at him. "I'm just kidding... let it go." Denzel replied to him. "Even so!" "Do you have a problem with gay people?" I asked a little annoyed and crossed my arms. He raised his eyebrows at me and seemed not happy that his classmates were looking at him. "W-nothing....just that! They're disgusting." He said and turned his back on us. He continued cleaning and pretended we weren't looking at him. I looked at Kit and Mayo who were also exchanging meaningful looks. I just shook my head and went back to what I was doing. Luckily there were a lot of us so it only took us about an hour to clean the entire gymnasium. "There! Clean!" Sir said with a smile and looked at his watch. "...we can't have class anymore." "What the hell..." Blaster whispered but I still heard him. "I'll just give you a copy of the lesson for today so you can still study." Sir explained. "Maybe you should just rest for the remaining time." "Okay, Sir." "Thank you, Sir." "Take a rest ï¬rst." Sir was about to get the garbage bags but David stopped him. He offered to let us throw them away. Sir left, ull of concern for us. I can't blame him, we look like beggars here. I don't know why we're even coming in. It's obvious we're not welcome here anymore. "I need some help here." David said but no one paid him any attention. "...come on. A little cooperation." The idiots were still deadpan as they did their own thing. Some were chatting and playing on their cellphones. Some even thought of lying down on the bleachers and sleeping. How stubborn you are! These Ulopongs are really kind. I saw David look at Ci-Nâ€"still wearing his flirtatious attire. "Hey, beautiful princess. Maybe you want to help me." He said sarcastically. Batang Kumag, on the other hand, gently brushed away the feeling of her long hair. She even flashed while placing one leg on the other. Beautiful! So nice. I sighed deeply as we got closer to David. "I'll do it. Obviously you can't expect anything from those." I grabbed the four garbage bags and he did the same. They were so full that we had a hard time walking. We almost couldn't ï¬t through the entrance because of what we were carrying. The original damp side of the school was far away. It was still behind the old buildings. David and I followed each other as we walked. Luckily it was still class time so there were no students scattered on the road. By chance, we were chatting again. We arrived at the ï¬rst year building. One of the oldest buildings in this school. What's surprising is that there was only one room full of students. All of them were either vacant or closed. "This was our room before." David said while looking at the building. "I was a second year when I went to them." I looked at it too. It seemed even older than the building where Section E is. This school is really going crazy! There's an older building here, why are they trying to demolish ours ï¬rst? People here are really crazy! I looked back at David. "Why did you go to Section E?" He looked back at me before smiling and walking away again. I immediately followed him. "There was a problem in our Section. Some of my classmates were going to be expelled and others were suspended. To prevent the problem from getting worse, I just took it all in." He explained. "...I also have a backer so it wasn't a problem for me." I nodded in sudden acceptance of his answer. "And you?" He asked me. "...why did you end up in Section E?" I smiled at him. "They say I'm so pretty. Other girls might be insecure about me." That's it! I heard his soft laugh. He even asked as if he didn't know that I was rebellious at my old school. But maybe it was really meant for me to end up in this Section. I don't know! It felt weird. We reached the back of the old building. You'd think, their garbage segregation is great. Bottles are separated from plastic. They rot and don't rot. So why can't they segregate their students? I looked around and saw two men who were organizing the garbage disposal. "Where are we going to get off?" I asked David. "Probably right there." We pointed at the garbage bags in the corner. We were walking towards it when a man suddenly called out to us. David and I turned to him at the same time and he came over to us. "Where did you bring these?" We looked at each other before answering. "In the gymnasium." The man suddenly frowned at us and scratched his head. "I'm sorry, we can't accept that." Garbage not accepted? What is that? Are there requirements to follow? "Ho?" My eyes widened at what he said. "Why not? Does the gymnasium have its own damp side?" The man suddenly seemed embarrassed and bowed. If I didn't like his answer, he would hit me. Just one slap on the back of the head. "That's what the Guidance Officer told us to do. He said that that garbage is really for you." I dropped all the garbage bags I was holding. I couldn't bear it! For us? What do they mean by that? We are garbage and it suits us to be a garbage dump? You are the children of the poor!!! "Kuya!" I shouted at the person in front of us. "...I know we don't have a problem, but maybe now we have one!" He backed up a little. I wasn't scaring him but.....he was still smiling ! It felt good to step on him! This school is going to piss me off. Just be patient, we won't see each other anymore because we'll graduate and then they'll treat us like this. "Brother, this is garbage. There's no point in taking care of it." David said. "Let us leave it here." He dropped everything he was holding and took out his wallet from his pocket. He took out some money that I think was around 5 thousand. "This should be enough to keep you quiet." He added as he handed the money to the man. I felt like I was going to be a trash collector now. The man quickly took the money and smiled broadly. His dark gums and yellow teeth were out. It's a good thing his mouth was still intact even though it looked like bacteria was eating away at his mouth. "You can be happy, Sir." The man replied. David motioned for me to leave. We left the garbage bags in front of Brother. I really wanted to complain about what happened but who would I do that to. I couldn't believe it. This school really meant to dump trash on us. What do they want to happen? I frowned as I walked. My companion didn't move. I guess he was aware that my blood was boiling. Irritating! Strong enough to cause a pest! We arrived at the gymnasium quickly, probably because of the size of each step I took. As soon as we entered, loud shouting rang out . It echoed throughout the building. I looked around to see what was happening. The Ulopongs were ï¬ghting with Section D. "You're kidding!" Eren shouted at the woman in front of him. "We're going to use this gymnasium, you need to get out of here!" A man said. "It's so big! Even if there are more than 200 of you using it, you'll still ï¬t in!" Mayo replied annoyed. "What's this?!" I whispered annoyed. David and I ran over to them and got in the middle. "What is this?! What is this?! What is this again?!" I said while in the middle of all of them. One of the Section D students confronted me. "You need to leave here. We're going to use the gymnasium." I looked around the entire building. The place was huge, including the bleachers. "Seriously? The place is huge. Why do we have to be kicked out?" I said irritably. "Is it obvious? We can't take you here with us." A woman said sarcastically. Oh, that's how it is! I thought she was pretty. I almost got stung by the woman's expression. Luckily, I remembered what we were talking about. I wrung my hands. "You thought so. We can't take you here with us either! So don't come here!" The woman who treated me badly earlier gave me a hard time. Should I poke her in the eye? "Miss!" A man called me who, if I'm not mistaken, was their president. "...this gymnasium is for PE. Obviously, you're here not for PE class. You're just making this place a hangout because you don't have your own classroom." Oh my! This also makes me angry. I was about to speak when Yuri suddenly interrupted. "FYI, we're not here to hang out. The school management put us here." She crossed her arms and was obviously intimidated by her posture. "...So if anyone has to leave here, it's you." The president of Section D laughed angrily. "Don't be arrogant Hanamitchi, you're only acting like that because Watson isn't here." What does Hari have to do with this? My eyebrows furrowed as I looked at the Idiot in front of Yuri. This Section was really overflowing with arrogance. After all, they would be a lower section if Section E wasn't there. Yuri smiled at him. That smile was normal and seemed like the person in front of her was just a friend. She removed her arms from their position and placed one hand on the shoulder of the person she was talking to. "You're right, Watson isn't here." He moved closer and leaned in close to her ear. "...so no one will stop me if I hit you." After saying that, he tightened his grip on her arm, causing the other to sit down. Section D immediately became alarmed and tried to approach Yuri but David stopped them. "We can just talk about this properly." He said while standing in the middle. "...just use the area you need in this gymnasium and leave us here in the bleachers." "That's not how it works." A woman from Section D said. "...we're not comfortable with you here." "We're not comfortable with you here either... but is there anything we can do?" Denzel replied irritably. "Yes! Go away! The conversation is over!" The conversation once again turned into shouting and ï¬ghting. It looked like the idiots were about to ï¬ght. In the middle of their argument, I saw Josh, Eren, Drew and Blaster walking out of the gymnasium carrying their bags. I immediately chased after them because I felt like I knew what they were going to do. "Where are you going?" I asked them annoyed. Eren and Josh stopped but Drew and Blaster continued walking . "It's just a waste of our effort if we ï¬ght. It's obvious that we're being kicked out of this school." Eren explained. "Eren is right." Josh added. "...if you don't notice, they're just playing with us here." I wanted to respond to what they said. I wanted to tell them they were wrong. But no matter what angle you look at it, that's what's happening. They turned around again and walked away. My shoulders slumped as I returned to the gymnasium.
