Authors note:
This is going to be my very first story/piece of writing I ever made so if some things don't make sense or if the chapters take long to release I'm sorry in advance. The story will be about a guy named Rae, he will originally be from a superpowered modern day world, were OF COURSE he will be an underdog and won't have any powers, BUT I'm planning on making it into a story where he gets reincarnated into a Fantasy medieval world kind of like The beginning after the end so if I subconsciously make it too alike I'm sorry in advance.
Rae will have a system since I can't lie my creativeness is very limited and probably can't come up with an original one by myself. The journey while writing this Is probably going to be bumpy but I hope I make It through it,
ANYWAYS this is the prologue so...
In a world where power defined worth, where the sky blazed with the brilliance of capes and costumes, there was a boy who lived in the shadows. His name was Rae, though he was hardly known by it. He was the one who blended into the background, unnoticed, a smudge on the canvas of a world painted in vibrant, heroic colors.
Rae was not born special. He had no gifts, no powers, no bright future waiting for him. While others his age discovered their abilities commanding the elements, soaring through the sky, or bending reality to their will he remained pathetically ordinary. His life was a stark contrast to the spectacular world around him. His body was heavy with the weight of neglect, a result of countless nights spent in front of a screen, a refuge from the reality he despised. His eyes, once filled with hope, were now dulled by bitterness and self-loathing.
He watched from afar as the heroes of his city were celebrated, adored by millions. They were the gods of this new age, their faces plastered on billboards, their names chanted in the streets. And Rae hated them. He hated their effortless grace, their perfect lives, their unquestioned superiority. But more than anything, he hated himself. He loathed the pitiful existence he was forced to endure, the emptiness that gnawed at him every waking moment of his pathetic existence.
The world had no place for someone like him, someone born without power in a society that revered it above all else. Every day was a reminder of his inadequacy, every hero a reflection of his worthlessness. He was a failure, a joke in the eyes of the universe, destined to live in the shadow of those who truly mattered.
In the depths of his despair, Rae's thoughts grew darker. He began to wonder if the world would be better off without him or perhaps, if the world deserved to suffer just as he had. The bitterness inside him festered, transforming into something more sinister. If he couldn't be a hero, perhaps he could become something else. Something that would make the world remember his name, even if it was for all the wrong reasons.
And so, with every ounce of rage, resentment, and self-hatred burning within him, Rae made a silent vow. The world may have cast him aside, but it had yet to see the true depths of his despair. It had yet to see the monster it had created, or will it…
