The cold wind hovering outside the window was making an eerie sound. The thunderstorm should have lasted only a few hours. Staring blankly as he traced the raindrops on the glass pane, the quiet figure was admiring the rushing wind. The place was dark and cold, the lights were off and the heater was plugged out. "Has it always been this cold?" , he thought as he burried his face into the blanket. Silently seeping into the couch. He had been sitting at that place for hours, the cushion had a dent and was still warm.
"You won't even answer me anymore" , he thought to himself as he dozed off.

28th February, 2016, "Ivan! You should stop your work and come hang out with us, the validity of your 'hangout with super cool patrick' is almost out!", Ivan smiled, waving at them to go without him. It was only a week until their finals and then they'll be second year students. "What are you doing ", a voice peeked from behind. "Julian", Ivan looked up to the figure: tall, wide shoulders and a supposedly pitiful looking face, his down turned eyes, dark brown looking at him. "Ivan", one could say his eyes lit up at the sight of the person. He always liked the way he called his name. "Isn't the test still a week away?", Julian sat infront of him. He never sat anywhere else because that would mean they are not facing each other. "It's a 'week' away, that's like tomorrow", Ivan shuffled among the papers lying on his desk. "You know you're always working too hard, i hate as well as like that about you", julian sighed. "Hate? Why would you hate someone who's hardworking", Ivan chuckled. "Because it makes me feel behind, please, let's go out for today. It's tiring always seeing you on your desk", Julian suggested.
"What's with you guys and letting me tag along, I'm not even good at games", Ivan gave up on resisting.
"You guys?", Julian helped him pack his bags. "Yeah, patrick and the others were inviting me, i didn't go afterall ", Ivan stood up and they left the classroom.
Why would they want anything with you? Julian thought to himself, almost pouting. "Well, it's okay I'll teach you about games. I have a new game I'm looking forward to playing with you", he smiled.
Such a beautiful geranium
Ivan smiled. He infact loved that geranium, the flowers and stems alike.

"Ivan? I'm home", the door opened to a dark and gloomy house. The curtains at each side. It was terribly cold. "Ivan?", he looked around until finding the blanket lump on the couch. "I'm home Ivan", he whispered into his ear before picking him up and heading to the bedroom. The monsoon season had just started and it was already so cold. The bed was neatly made, the blankets politely folded and not a wrinkle on the sheets. Has he not been sleeping in our bedroom for a while now? Julian thought to himself. He laid Ivan on the bed, the linen sheets crumpling by the heavy figure. "Julian", Ivan said as he reached for him. Eyes still closed he embraced him into a hug, "I missed you. The house felt so lonely", he mumbled. "Were you eating well?", Julian climbed onto the bed, his coat was a bit damp from the rain. "Hmm?", Ivan nuzzled onto his chest. His hands naturally reaching for Julian's neck before pecking him on his favourite spot, the mole under his right ear. "My coat is damp, i will go change" , Julian kissed his head but Ivan didn't let go of him, he didn't say anything but Julian knew he meant ' it's alright '. He didn't mind the damp coat at all. All that matters right now was that Julian was home. It was a week's trip to Europe, visiting the different places that needed his service. Afterall he held quite a position in the business. And the new branches in Europe needed his validation and supervision. "I love the way you are so professional at work", Ivan would say to him whenever they lay together at night. He would always kiss his hand while saying the words. Sort of like a little reassurance.
"I was thinking of you the whole time", Julian caressed his face, kissing his body on every part that seemed to be needing his kisses. "I could not think of anything else but you", he embraced him. Lies Lies Lies. Ivan teared up and Julian kissed his tears. But he didn't know why he cried or what was going through his mind. "I love you so much and..", Ivan mumbled in his tears. "What's wrong? Did you miss me so much you can't even talk", Julian kissed him, his hands holding the thin body, caressing his waist. "Yes, i missed you alot", Ivan couldn't finish his sentence. How could he? . When the only person he's ever loved all this time was out making love to someone else. He cried from the thought of Julian with someone else, kissing his neck .
"Is it painful? I'm sorry", Julian wiped his tears and caressed him, kissing his face multiple times. One wouldn't even be able to tell that this same person was out cheating on his partner. Could you even blame Ivan for not knowing sooner? The way he acted, it seemed like he'd have eyes for no one else but Ivan. It was a rainy day like today when Ivan found out his partner was infact not only 'his'. A few strands of hair here and there around his car, sometimes it'd be hanging on his coat. The brown coat that he picked for him, "It makes me look old", Julian said the first few days of buying it. But he would still wear it everytime it rained. Even after seeing the hair strands, Ivan didn't think of it much. He found it immature when couples argued over something as insignificant as that. "They ought to just suspect every other thing at that point", he'd say. Afterall, who in their right mind would do such thing as 'suspecting ' their partner? was what he thought.
