Chapter 5 - The Abduction

As usual, Jin Shi left the house in the morning, heading to school. He walked without concern, his headphones securely in place. He barely listened to his grandmother's shouting behind him, but he didn't need to—he had memorized her words by heart.

"Don't bring trouble! If you do, you won't be allowed back into this house again!"

Her sharp voice followed him as he walked away, but he didn't turn back. Instead, he pressed his headphones tighter against his ears, trying to block out the words he had grown so tired of hearing.

"Your traitorous mother didn't even defend herself! She was raped by a criminal and brought you into this world, you cursed child!"

Jin Shi exhaled slowly, his eyes fixed on the road ahead without any expression. He was used to it. These insults followed him daily, becoming nothing more than meaningless noise.

However, as he walked, he noticed something strange. A gray car was trailing him a few meters away, moving at the same slow pace as him. At first, he ignored it, but something inside him told him to pay closer attention.

"Is it…?"

The first thought that crossed his mind was the gang he encountered last night. It made sense—they probably didn't like the way he had responded to Richard, their leader, and now they wanted to teach him a lesson.

Jin Shi decided to change his route, but he quickly realized that the car adjusted its path as well, continuing to follow him.

"Damn it…"

His heartbeat quickened, but his face remained calm, showing no signs of concern. Should he run? Hide? No, showing fear would only make it easier for them to catch him.

But before he could make a move, the car suddenly sped up and cut him off!

"What—!"

There was no time to react. The back door swung open, and two masked men jumped out. He barely had a chance to struggle before he was yanked violently into the car!

The doors slammed shut, and the vehicle sped off, disappearing down the street.

In an instant, Jin Shi was gone—without anyone noticing.

But who were these people? And why had they taken him?

One thing was certain—this wasn't Richard's gang.

He had made a mistake… and worse, whoever had taken him might be far more dangerous.
