Chapter 1 - Arc One: Astrocat - The Awakening of the Cosmic Explorer

For the past five years, Astrocat had been exploring the vastness of the galaxy, searching for clues about his true identity. However, his quest always ended in dead ends—until one day, a mysterious signal was captured by his navigation system. The signal came from an unregistered alien planet in the intergalactic database. Its name: Planet Verdalis.

With unwavering determination, Astrocat steered his ship toward the enigmatic planet. However, before he could fully enter the atmosphere, danger was already waiting. A group of artifact guardians patrolling the planet immediately detected his presence. These were no ordinary beings but floating, multicolored slime-like entities that latched onto his spacecraft. Astrocat struggled to shake them off, but their numbers were overwhelming. The ship's control system started to destabilize, forcing him to make an emergency landing in the dense forest covering the planet's surface.

Upon landing, Astrocat stepped out of his ship and examined his surroundings. Towering alien plants of strange hues loomed in every direction, creating a landscape that seemed more alive than an ordinary forest. The air was thick with the scent of vegetation, mingled with a thin mist drifting between the trees. However, his instincts quickly alerted him—something was watching him.

His steps halted as the bushes behind him rustled. Without warning, a group of monstrous plants with sharp teeth and long, creeping roots emerged from the shadows of the trees. This planet was not only home to wild vegetation but also to vicious creatures that had taken form from the flora itself. Reacting swiftly, Astrocat activated the plasma weapons on his wrists and fired several shots at the attacking monsters. Green sparks flew as they fell one by one, but their numbers kept increasing. Not wanting to waste time, Astrocat dashed towards the source of the signal he had detected earlier.

Before long, amidst the thick forest, he saw it—a grand ancient structure stood majestically, emitting a radiant light that pierced the sky. The structure resembled a temple left behind by an ancient civilization, adorned with mysterious carvings he had never seen before. However, guarding the massive gate that led inside stood a pair of lion-like monsters with golden fur and glowing red eyes, ready to confront him.

Without hesitation, Astrocat leaped into the air, dodging their razor-sharp claws. One of the lions lunged at him, but with his agility, he narrowly avoided the attack and countered with a plasma shot. One of the creatures fell, but the other remained standing, unleashing a deafening roar that shook the ground beneath them. A fierce battle ensued, and finally, with a precise strike to the monster's chest, Astrocat emerged victorious.

As the gates creaked open, he stepped inside the temple. At the heart of the structure, a glowing artifact floated in the air—Reliqium Core, a name that instantly surfaced in his mind. The moment he touched it, an immense energy surged through his body. His body trembled, his eyes widened as waves of new knowledge flooded his thoughts. A revelation struck him—there were eleven more artifacts scattered across the galaxy, each possessing unique powers and interconnected destinies.

However, the euphoria did not last long. A rumbling noise echoed through the temple. From the shadows of the colossal pillars, a gigantic beast emerged—a three-headed lion with a body entwined with massive tree roots. The Guardian of the Artifact.

Without a second thought, Astrocat prepared his newfound powers. With the Reliqium's strength now part of him, he unleashed the Nova Cataclysm, a neutral energy explosion that blasted toward his enemy. However, the guardian was too powerful. The attack only fueled its fury. A brutal battle unfolded—blow after blow, explosion after explosion, until Astrocat finally found an opening. With his ultimate move, Eclipse Fangs, he slashed the monster with a surge of energy so intense that the beast finally collapsed with a final, thunderous roar.

Yet, victory came at a cost. The temple began to collapse, stones falling from the ceiling. Without hesitation, Astrocat sprinted towards his spacecraft. He barely made it to the cockpit and launched into space, escaping the planet now on the brink of destruction.

But the danger was not over.

From beneath the ruins, the dying guardian managed to extend a massive root, latching onto the rear of Astrocat's ship. He struggled to break free, but the ship's system was rapidly losing balance. With no other choice, he fired his last missile at the root, destroying the back of his ship and freeing himself from the guardian's grasp.

As he floated among the stars, his body felt weightless, but his mind was full. He had gained new power but lost his spacecraft. Yet, something even more astonishing had occurred—something had surfaced in his mind after touching the artifact. Electricity surged through his brain, and long-buried fragments of his memory began to resurface.

This mission had only just begun.

With a determined gaze, Astrocat looked ahead, toward the vast galaxy that held the remaining ten artifacts. His adventure had just begun.
