Finding peace in my current position, I continue meditating under the tree, even with my eyes closed my eyes can perceive the world through mana, the tree emanating an enormous quantity, filled with light green mana that made me calm while looking at me, an immortal being that can resist even the hardest hits.

After returning to the mansion, I decided to spend some time meditating, mostly to calm my nerves. The fact that someone knew I could use mana and summon a familiar didn't pass over my head, but from what they had written, they seemed friendly enough not to kill me when I had 100 HP, so I didn't worry much.

My mediation started taking a turn when my eyes realized that the trees were using their mana to strengthen their body, putting it through a process of contraction and expansion to create more and more layers of defence against nature and society.

Trying to copy the process, I first tried to understand what the green mana emanating from the tree was. Asking it to come towards me and help me, I understood that mana had a will of its own. Unless already angered, it preferred calmness and kindness when being handled.

From inside my mana pool, Obsidian, my familiar, made a small roar with its tiny mouth, which sounded very cute to my ears. However, for some reason, the green mana reacted differently. It quickly went towards my hand, coiling all around my arm as if trying to protect itself from a ravenous beast.

Thanks, Ob. I will reward you later with tons of cuddles and food,' I told my familiar. It understood what I said, smiled widely with its sharp teeth, and continued swimming.

The mana felt my familiar relax and proceeded to ignore it, but it didn't budge away from my arm, seemingly finding it relaxing to touch it.

Once again relaxing my mind, I tried to understand mana and its functions. During my walk back home, I discovered that the mana people produce is based on their emotions: red for anger and fire, yellow for happiness and lightning, brown for greed and earth, and several others. None, though, seemed to produce pure blue mana, a color that only I was able to produce, most likely related to my emotions constantly being under control.

But this light green mana felt different. As I tried to change my mana to it, I felt my whole body relax and gain a new state of calmness. The air going inside my lungs made my body feel full of energy. The smell of the grass and trees relaxed me. The mana coiled around my arm started moving upwards towards my head, nestling near my chin and just above my chest, forming a circle, slowly being absorbed by my body.

And finally my mind snapped into place, what I had just absorbed was nature mana, usually created only by nature itself, plants, trees, flowers, but thanks to my gamer powers I had just gained something that shouldn't have been accessible to me.

Inside my mana pool I felt a sudden shift, from the previous blue lake half of it turned the same color of nature mana, creating a calm whirlpool with my normal mana, causing a scene that if made into a painting it would have been sold for hundreds of dollars.

Opening my eyes, I felt my body filled with energy, the sound of leaves being moved by the wind resembling music to my ears, while the ground under my feet seemed to wish to be in contact with me.

Seeing that No was still around, I decided to continue grinding. I had a quest that still needed to be completed, and I had just two days to do so.

After removing my shoes and socks, I felt the grass under my feet create a small platform so that they would not injure my feet while I walked barefoot.

Focusing on the task at hand, I imagined fighting Logan, recalling his teachings on how to move to avoid being hit, how to receive a punch, and, most importantly, how to hit things hard.

Continuing shifting position and training my footwork, I felt my SP draining under the strain, so started using Nature's Mend to fight the loss, my SP regen receiving a 10% boost didn't help much, but surely helped.

'If I move like this, I will get hit, if I try to evade, he can take a step forwards and punch my liver, to the side and I get punched in the head, other side and he can punch my stomach, but if I...'

Slowly, my mind continued to become sharper and more focused. The sound of the wind and the smell of grass turned my mind into a machine fueled by pure willpower, allowing it to grow stronger.

I continued moving, punching, evading, moving, punching, evading, moving, punching, evading, until I hit Logan for the first time, I grazed him, it was only my imagination of how he fights, it might have been my mind playing tricks on me, but I had hit him.

And my body fell to the ground in exhaustion, and a headache was making way inside my mind.

'Fucking hell.' I thought, while panting, making a few slices of apple and water appear inside my mouth to restore some SP and MP and help regenerating them.

My smile didn't widen at the new perk and broken skill; the stats gain was the cherry on top.

Sensing my happiness, Obsidian began producing a sound of happiness, making my heart warm at its innocence.

Meditating for 5 minutes, I was back up to manageable levels of Stamina and Mana, so I got up and headed to the mansion, quite sure the others were about to come back if they already hadn't.

But something stopped me. I felt something new near my neck. It felt familiar, like something hot had touched my skin and had just begun cooling.

Taking a mirror from my inventory, because yes I have a mirror in it, don't judge me, I store my shirt and looked at my body.

After days of training, I began to notice a visible change in my body. What might take others months was happening to me in days. The outline of muscles was starting to become apparent on my increasingly toned physique. For now, I looked like a very fit twig, but I was still quite fit.

But what caught my attention was a tattoo... I HAVE A TATTOO? SINCE WHEN? WHAT THE FUCK?

A circle crafted in light green ink containing a tree emerged near my heart. It appeared to continually release nature mana, enveloping my body in a similar manner to how the blue mana originating from my head surrounds me.

'... If gaining a tattoo from learning how to use nature mana didn't sound so cool, I would be angry I got a tattoo without my consent... nope, still very cool.'

Sighing, I heard steps coming from behind me. I didn't turn, but I stored the mirror and put on my shirt. Considering the notification, I might have been a step too late.

Turning to the person approaching me, I saw Rogue looking at the ground, her cheeks red and a hand over her mouth.

" No one ever taught you how to knock?" I told her to try and not let her think how I was half naked.

"We're outside," she said with a smile. Her flushed face gradually cooled as her eyes shifted from the ground back to mine.

"Good manners are still good manners. What if they were the other way around?" Please say I can show you.

'Bad mind, no horny, go to horny jail.'

She shook her head, the red on her face returning for just a second. An idea went through her mind, but it lasted only for that second.

" Well, the others are waiting for you. We wanted to make sure you were okay after what happened with Mystique this morning. We also heard that you used the Danger Room."

" Yeah, it was sick," I told her quickly, not really in the mood to relive my unaliving of a seemingly thinking species without any remorse.

Silence fell once more between us, it was kind of awkward, but Kitty arrived, calling both our names, which broke the weirdness.

'Thank you Kitty, I will remove you from the hate list for stealing my bacon.'

When we finally were close enough to her, she circled her arm around my neck and whispered to my ear.

* Did you kiss?*

'Back she goes.'
