[Scene: The Archivist Moves to Eliminate Its Targets]
The Archivist stood tall, their massive glowing book hovering in front of them.
Reality itself warped around their presence.
[SCENARIO LOCKED.]
[OUTCOME DETERMINED.]
[INITIATING ELIMINATION SEQUENCE.]
[How the Archivist Wins – The Inescapable Conclusion]
Kura held up his hands.
"Okay, okay, wait. How the hell are you just guaranteed to win?"
I sighed.
"Because, Kura. The Archivist doesn't 'fight' in a conventional way. It already knows the ending of every scenario it enters. It isn't 'trying' to win—it already has."
Kura blinked.
"Wait. WAIT. So you're telling me—it literally already wrote us out of the story?!"
The Archivist nodded.
"Correct. This outcome was determined the moment I was summoned."
Everin stayed completely still.
She had already realized the issue.
"…I can't stop it, can I?"
I shook my head.
"Nope. You can't prevent something that's already happened. And in the Archivist's view? This has already happened."
Everin slowly exhaled.
"Tsk. Annoying."
[Why Kura Can't Win – The Brutal Reality]
Kura pointed to himself.
"Okay, fine. But why do I not even have a chance?!"
I shrugged.
"Because you're not in the same power class as the others. Everin is an absolute rule of prevention. Teal is a full Author. You? You're… Kura. You are NOT in their league."
Kura stared.
"Damn, dog. I'm screwed."
Teal laughed hysterically.
"HAHAHA! Oh, I love this. Kura got nerfed by pure logic."
Kura pouted.
"This is discrimination."
[What Happens to Teal?]
Andy glanced at Teal.
"Okay. How is it going to beat Teal? She's still an Author, and she's been running this entire arc."
I sighed again.
"Same way. The ending is already set. Teal loses because the Archivist already determined she would."
Teal narrowed her eyes.
"And I can't override that?"
The Archivist flipped a page.
"All attempts to resist have already failed."
Teal gritted her teeth.
For the first time, she wasn't laughing.
"Tch. You actually backed me into a corner. Well played."
[The Cost of Absolute Victory]
Kura crossed his arms.
"Alright, so we're doomed. Got it. But how does this actually go down? What happens to us?"
I smirked.
"Ah. That's the catch."
The Archivist raised a hand.
[EXECUTING FINAL ELIMINATION COMMAND.]
And then—
A massive narrative rift opened beneath Kura, Everin, and Teal.
Kura panicked.
"WAIT. WAIT. WAIT. WHERE IS THIS SENDING US?!"
Andy squinted at the spell's structure.
"…It's an error."
Everin narrowed her eyes.
"An error?"
I nodded.
"The Archivist is so absolute in its function that when it 'eliminates' a target, it actually doesn't destroy them. Instead, it forcibly removes them from whatever story it's fixing and dumps them somewhere else."
Kura screamed.
"BRO, YOU'RE SAYING WE'RE GETTING ISEKAI'D AGAIN?!"
Teal snapped her fingers, testing her power.
"…I can't override this. It's already done."
Everin clicked her tongue.
"Annoying. But fine. Where are we going?"
I shrugged.
"No clue. The Archivist doesn't care where it sends you. Just that you're gone."
Kura facepalmed.
"SO WE'RE JUST GETTING LAUNCHED INTO THE UNKNOWN?!"
Andy watched as the spell activated.
"Yup. Have fun with that."
[The End of This Story Arc – And The Beginning of Something Else]
The rift fully opened.
The Archivist closed its book.
"This narrative has been restored. The anomalies are no longer present."
Kura, Teal, and Everin were swallowed by the rift.
And then—
They were gone.
The Archivist vanished.
The AI let out a system-wide sigh of relief.
[ORDER HAS BEEN RESTORED.]
[THE STORY IS BACK ON TRACK.]
Andy stared at the empty space where they once stood.
Azrael slowly exhaled.
"…So. What now?"
Andy smirked.
"Well, they're gone. But their story? Hasn't ended yet."
And somewhere, in an entirely different world…
The next chapter was about to begin.
[TO BE CONTINUED… IN A COMPLETELY NEW SETTING]
The Archivist won.
Kura, Teal, and Everin have been thrown into the unknown.
And now… their story is starting all over again.
Where did they land?
Is there any way back?
And what insane adventure awaits them next?
Find out next time!
