FWOOSH
A man ran through the dark, his feet sinking into the soil beneath him as he bolted through the thick forest.
The full moon cast an eerie shadow on the man's ashen-gray skin as he turned his head around; his blood-red eyes quivered as he frantically searched for something.
'Where is he!?' the man exclaimed inwardly in horror as he gasped for breath; he thought he had easy prey. A reckless man roaming the forest in the night wearing a funny dress, but
BADUMP BADUMP
'He's no human!' the man exclaimed inwardly as his heart thumped in fright, his face convulsed in fear and anger, but the man gritted his teeth, and
BOOM
dashed forward, increasing his speed. But just then,
TWISH
The man heard a sound; it was nothing more than the sound of a rope whipping through the air, but
"Uwaaah!" The man's whole body jerked in reaction. He bit his lip as he snapped his head around, his eyes trembling as tears of shame fell down his cheeks. "Leave me alone, you motherfucker!"
He didn't wait for a reply and ran at his full speed, 'I have to get away!' the man yelled inwardly, 'I HAVE TO GET AWAY FROM THIS MONSTER!!!"
But much to his dismay,
TWISH
TWISH
The sounds got closer and closer, and with each passing second, he could feel it, the monster, it's getting closer.
And soon enough,
TWISH
The man's face paled as he felt something tugging on his leg. Something warm and liquid, yet he could feel it solidifying at an alarming rate.
He then lowered his head, his heart hammering against his ribs as his gaze traveled to his right leg, 'No! No! No! NO! NO! NO!'
His stomach fell as he looked at the thin, white, transparent string glued to his leg, and before he could react,
YANK
The monster yanked the string toward itself, causing the man to lose his balance and fall forward.
BOOM
.....Crashing into a tree.
The man hurried to get up, his regeneration working in overdrive to heal his wounds, but
TAP
TAP
He heard footsteps behind him.
SNIFF
The man's face contorted in fear, his shoulders fell as he slowly turned around, "W-Why are you chasing me?" the man stuttered, with tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Aww, come on. Don't be like that; I thought we were playing catch. Aren't we friends?" A male voice came from behind the dark trees as a man walked forward.
He was tall, about a foot higher than the man with his sturdy body covered in a bodysuit that was red and blue, with a spider emblem on his chest. His face was covered by a mask of blue and red, and his eyes were covered by white lenses.
'Friend?' The ashen gray man mumbled inwardly; did he just call him a friend? The man's face crumpled in anger as he glared at the masked man.
"WHO THE FUCK IS YOUR FRIEND, YOU FUCKER!" the man bellowed at the top of his lungs.
His blood-red eyes glinted as his chest heaved up and down, a smile blooming on his face as he clenched his fists. It felt good! It felt good to curse the monster!
....Only for a moment; that is,
'Fuck! He's stronger than me!' the ashen gray man realized as blood drained from his head while he gulped down in fear as he slowly raised his head, looking at the masked man, but
"...Eh?"
SNIFF
The masked man sniffed as he wiped fake tears from his mask, "I-It hurts," he said in a low voice, "I-I thought we had a moment," he mumbled.
The ashen gray man's face twisted in anger. A game, that's what it was. This was all a game for the human in front of him!
"Motherfucker! You fucking psychopath! What kind of shit fuck are you!? You motherfucking piece of shit!" he yelled as he clenched his fists tightly, his nails seeping into his skin.
"Ooof!" the masked man exclaimed, his hand clutching his chest as if he were in pain. "Ouch!" he exclaimed once more. "Man, what a mouth! And you eat humans with that mouth!? Filthy!"
And before the ashen-gray man could react, the masked man flicked his hand, sending a shot of warm liquid toward him.
TWISH
The man had no time to react as the liquid splashed across his mouth, solidifying at an unprecedented rate and sealing his lips.
"Mhhhhmmmm! Mhhhmmmm!" The man's eyes widened as he tried to open his mouth, but to no avail. He then raised his hand, his sharp nails trying to tear away the web strings. But damn, were they strong.
"Ahhh," the masked man exclaimed in bliss, "see how nice it is if you don't curse? How hard is that?" he asked. "Hmm, wait," he then added as he looked at his 'friend,' "Hey, what are you doing?" he yelled in surprise. "Why are you ripping your mouth?!"
But then, it dawned on him, "Ohhh, that's right! Regeneration! You are a demon!" he exclaimed as he hit his head. He then looked at his friend, who was almost succeeding, "Mh-hm, we can't have you talking again!" he mumbled out loud, shaking his head.
He then flicked his hand again; this time, sealing his hands. "Ugh, that looks nasty!" he exclaimed as he looked at the demon's face.
Blood dripped from its face, falling down on its feet. Its two sealed lips were dangling down with the web strings soaked in its blood. The demon's regeneration had already kicked in, with its muscles forming over its cheeks.
"Ugh," The masked man grumbled again, "Now, I feel bad....." He mumbled in a low voice as he looked at the demon, "Let me help you patch it up!" he muttered as he flicked his hand once more, sealing his entire face in his web. "There! All good!"
"Mhmmm! Mhmmm!" The demon struggled to release his hand from the stranglehold of the web, but the web was too strong for him. His body writhed underneath the gaze of the masked man who was now walking toward him.
"Ah, I heard that the sunrise is beautiful in this world. Do you want to see it with me?" the man asked in an innocent voice.
The demon's blood-red eyes dilated as his entire body froze. He turned to the masked man, who tilted his head as he looked at him for a reply.
'Watch the sunrise....?' the demon mumbled inwardly, his body shivered in fear at the thought of the sun and his eyes quivered as he desperately shook his head, no! "Mhhhhmmm! Mhhhhmmmm!"
Watching his reaction, "Really!?" the masked man replied as he held the shoulders of the demon, "Really? Are you willing to come with me!?" he asked as he shook the demon with excitement.
The demon's face teared up as he understood that this was all a game. His shoulders fell while his legs wobbled, falling down to his knees; he didn't want to play this sicko's game anymore. But the man,
"Haha!" he laughed as he tightly hugged the demon, "You are a true friend, my dear demon!" He then lifted the demon off, carrying him over his shoulder like a sack.
"I'm really touched, my friend. Even though you will die once exposed to the sun. You are ready to sacrifice your life for your friend's request!"
The masked man then began walking off through the trees to the outside of the forest. He then added with conviction, "All right then, I will find us the best spot to watch the sunrise! You don't worry!"
