As expected, I didn't get a proper answer from Priest Arthur.
I sighed as I was out of the Maze garden of the Temple
"Wanna go for a quick bite?" I asked the maid behind me, "But, m'lady, the food in this side of the capital.." She grip on her dress
"Oh.." right, Reillana is a very picky eater. From the maids, she is. If she says only two peas on food and saw three she'll immediately throw a tantrum
"It's okay, what kind of food would you like to eat?" I asks, In the Kallister Empire I even eat rotten apple to survive before becoming a warrior, I'll be fine.
"I know just a place that sells sweets" She happily said, ugh. Sweets? I hate sweets
"Sure, where?"
-At the cafe-
"Thank you so much, m'lady!" She squealed, fulling her cheeks with pastries
"Slow down, Leilaly" I chuckled
We chatted and eat as we talk, She was a good person to Reillana.. although she's scared of her, So do I.
"Have I done something to disobey father?" I asked slightly curious, "...Yes.." She says, putting her fork aside
"Really?"
"...A month ago.. You gave yourself to the crown prince.."She says, my eyes widening, "...while being engaged with the second prince.."
My lips parted, my eyes widen, what?.. "Did.. Reillana..." I gritted my teeth before giving her a smile, "I see, thank you for telling me"
After a while, we got out of there and rode the carriage back home.. we were silent most of the ride since it still confuses me, Why would Reillana give herself to the crown prince? Power? Status?
As the carriage pass by, I notice a familiar figure.. Holly?.. no.. she wouldn't come here..
After a few hours I was in my room.. holly..
"Let go! I said let go of me!!" Haru screams, Her comrade holding her arms from behind
"What're you doing?! L-Let go!!" Haru screams, Jade. Her trusted right hand man, sharpens the knife
"..We never meant to do this.. Haru.." Jade smiles hesitantly, testing the knife on the carrot, which is haru's snack, it slices immediately
"N-No.. Jade Leaudens! Wh-Wha-" Haru cries out, her arms wailing around, "Pl-Please- jade! Marcus! Tyde!"
Tyde looked away, walking away as he clenched on his fists.. "Tyde!!!"
"...Haru. stay still.."
Marcus, who was holding her dropped her to the ground on her stomach, holding her shoulders as Jade approaches
"Jade.. please!"
Her arm was cut off, next was the left arm, Her forehead sweating, her eyes streaming with tears
Next was her legs, noticing Holly, "..Please... I have.. a sister.." Haru cries out, "I'm begging y-you.. jade.."
Jade flinches, his arm trembling before cutting her knee off. "ARGHHHH!!!" Haru cries out
Marcus loosen his hold, his tears flowing, her mind racing to thousand thoughts. Her eyes wet with tears
"Please..."
Marcus.. Took the knife from Jade and ends their comrade's pain
Reillana flinches, biting her wounded thumb.. "The pain.. is still here" She look over the night sky, tears flowing on her cheeks
"Why.. must I die like that? What did I do wrong..." She slumps to the floor, "She.. shouldn't have atleast seen that..." She says, biting her nail, "She... Should've ran away the moment I told her to.."
She sighs, gripping her dress tightly.. "I must survive... I must return..."
"to my people..."
