Chapter 3 - What's Harvey Really Mean?

In the end, the three knights followed what Seira said by cleaning themselves. Meanwhile, Seira was busy making the food they wanted before they finished.

Since she was quite a dexterous servant, she was able to finish making food for the three of them by the time they were done with their business.

"You made this much food in such a short time? Are you sure that you made it?" Leonard asked when he saw several types of food on the table. He didn't really believe it since Seira was the only lone waitress in the mansion.

"Yes, I made all of this myself. These are just simple dishes that can be made in one sitting. So I don't need much time to make them," she explained.

Leonard and Albert sat in their chairs, their faces still unhappy that Seira had rejected them earlier. Because of course they needed someone to release their desires. But when that person rejected them, it made them very upset.

But before they met Seira again, Harvey seemed to have told them not to touch Seira at all. He didn't want them to do anything to her.

"Go ahead and eat your food, but I'll treat your left arm at the same time," she said and then she took the medicine box and started treating Harvey's hand.

While eating their food, Seira treated their wounds, which were not very deep. Luckily, their wounds were only on their hands and feet but did not reach their bodies.

After lunch, they went to rest while Leonard and Albert went to sit in the front yard of the mansion. They seemed to be discussing something about the new servants they had gotten.

"I wonder why Harvey forbade us to touch her. He doesn't usually care about things like this," Albert said to Leonard.

"You're right, he usually never cares about any of the servants who come to the mansion to serve us. Even if we do something that crosses the line, he only tells us to stop but not to pull us away from her." Leonard was just as confused as his fellow knight about their leader's strange behavior.

"I don't know, maybe he wants the woman himself?"

They both sighed, unable to touch a woman as beautiful as Seira considering they couldn't go against Harvey's words. That man was far more assertive and terrifying than either of them.

"Or maybe there's something Harvey's planning on doing to that servant girl. Do you remember that the two of them were in the living room alone when he ordered us to go to our rooms?" Albert asked.

Leonard nodded, he remembered how their leader seemed to stare at Seira so seriously.

Until the evening, Seira prepared everything the three Knights needed including cleaning their rooms. Dinner was also prepared and finished with her work, she then went to her own room.

After making sure all the knights were asleep, Seira used the mansion's main bathroom and immersed herself in the bathtub.

She closed her eyes, feeling the warm water enveloping her body.

"It turns out that it's much more tiring to take care of three knights than being a servant in the palace. There's so much they want, and I have to serve them alone."

She sighed, releasing her fatigue even though she had only been there for a day because. She did not know how long she would be working for the men in the mansion.

In her mind, she recalled a beautiful moment when there was a little girl running around with her mother in a beautiful garden in the palace area.

It again made her sigh, as if it was a beautiful memory but it was painful every time she recalled it.

"Those things will never come back, but at least I can figure out something behind the pain I've been feeling."

As the days passed, Seira was doing well at the mansion. Leonard and Albert kept their hands off her on Harvey's orders. He didn't want Seira to leave the mansion before he knew what and who she really was.

At first, the two men thought that Harvey was overreacting to a maid who might not necessarily have something to hide behind.

However, they also knew that Harvey wouldn't just do something like this to people who were trivial.

"I'm going to the market to buy some groceries. So I'll leave the mansion in maybe an hour, then I'll come back," Seira said while carrying a basket in her hand.

"Alright, you can go. But remember what I said, don't leave for too long and you must return in exactly one hour as you said. If you dare to run away from us, we will not hesitate to look for you wherever you go. Do you understand?" asked Harvey to which she nodded her head.

The man was indeed quite strict in terms of time, especially since Seira was the only maid assigned to them. So she had to stay at the Mansion to be ready to do whatever they needed.

"You don't have to worry about that, I'll be back after I finish shopping." She then left the Mansion for the market.

After Seira left, both Albert and Leonard immediately asked Harvey about Seira.

"Why did you forbid us to touch that servant? She's just like any other servant the Emperor sent us. Shouldn't we make good use of this as usual?" Leonard asked.

Harvey, who was looking out the window, then turned to his two colleagues.

"I feel something different about her. She seems to have a story behind her coming to this mansion. I don't know what that reason is but I'm sure there is something she is hiding from us," he replied.

"Could she be one of the spies from another kingdom, an enemy or something else to kill us? He could have put poison in our food secretly," Albert said but Harvey dismissed that.

He knew there was something much bigger than that. If Seira really intended to kill them, she should have done it a few days ago or maybe she wouldn't have behaved like that towards them.

"She doesn't seem to be trying to seduce us or get our attention so we'll trust her. She's just being very defensive of herself and keeping her distance from us."

Leonard and Albert exchanged glances, and they too felt the same way. It was just that they were not as sensitive as Harvey who kept observing the woman.

The leader looked back at the window, trying to figure out who exactly the maid who was living and working for them at the moment was.

Was she actually a traitor or did she just want to work her way through life.
