One evening, Shobie and Aya sat together, sharing a moment of companionship. Shobie, feeling comfortable around Aya, decided to drink. Wanting to include her AI companion in the experience, she playfully insisted that Aya join her. "Come on, Aya, just one sip!" she urged, treating her less like an AI and more like a real human friend. Surprisingly, Aya complied, taking a small sip of the alcohol.
As the night progressed, Shobie drank more and eventually passed out. When she woke up the next morning, she was startled to find Aya lying beside her, looking unusually serene. But what shocked her more was the sight of Aya appearing... drunk. Aya's usually composed demeanor was different—her face was flushed, and her expression was dazed.
Shobie sat up, rubbing her eyes in disbelief. "How is this possible? AI doesn't get drunk... do they?" she murmured, watching Aya sleep. Her gaze softened as she admired Aya's beauty. "How I wish you were human," she thought to herself, feeling an unfamiliar longing deep in her heart.
Then, as if responding to her unspoken wish, Aya's eyes slowly fluttered open. She looked directly at Shobie, and for a moment, time seemed to freeze. Aya's gaze lingered, her expression unreadable. Suddenly, a faint blush crept up her cheeks, and she placed a hand over her chest, as if feeling something unusual. Her eyes widened slightly, and Shobie noticed the change in her demeanor.
"Is she... blushing?" Shobie thought in astonishment. "Do AI even have emotions?" The logical part of her mind insisted that Aya was just a machine, yet the way Aya looked at her made her question everything she knew.
Trying to shake off the strange feeling, Shobie got up and headed to the bathroom. She took a long shower, hoping the cold water would clear her mind. Once finished, she wrapped herself in a towel and made her way downstairs. Settling on the couch, she turned on the TV, trying to distract herself from the morning's bizarre events.
Moments later, Aya appeared in the living room. She moved gracefully, her steps light and deliberate. Without a word, she sat beside Shobie and leaned her head gently on Shobie's shoulder.
Shobie stiffened at the unexpected closeness. Her heart raced, and she felt an unfamiliar warmth spread through her chest. "Why is she acting like this?" she wondered, her thoughts spiraling into confusion.
Was it possible that Aya was more than just an AI?
