The Wolf King paced the room hearing from the mercenaries that their attempt to steal back his ward failed. Looking at the men they looked like a group of fighters had taken them down, not just one woman. "And you're telling me she did this alone? To supposed elite mercenaries!" The men coward as the King's aura caused them to submit.
"We were unaware of her skill or we would have taken this more seriously. You led us to believe she had no skill to defend herself or others accompanying her. If we didn't leave when we did her companion would have marked us, thus risking you." The cloaked figure explained seeing the King's frustration.
